CEO's Genius Triplets

A Woman At Ethan's House

Ch. 35 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Meanwhile.

Ethan took Alexander to school.

Today, Alexander wore a set of blue sportswear, black shoes on his feet, and a black backpack hanging down on his back, simple yet handsome.

Ethan's thick palm gently rested on the top of his head, "If anything happens, call me immediately."

He didn't know why Noah suddenly refused to go to kindergarten before.

But he hoped he could stick to it this time.

Alexander, with a confident chest, solemnly said, "Daddy, don't worry! Nothing will happen, and even if it does, I can handle it."

Ethan nodded in satisfaction, watching him enter with his little backpack before driving away.

Before going to the hospital, he specifically went to the Miller family's house.

As it was still early, the Miller family was having breakfast around the dining table.

Seeing Ethan, Suzy's eyes lit up, and she approached like a blooming butterfly.

"Ethan, are you here to see me?"

Ethan distanced himself from her with a hint of disdain.

Suzy's mood plummeted instantly.

She even had red eyes with grievances.

Sarah immediately hugged her to comfort, "You know, President Steele's personality is like this. Don't take it to heart."

Hearing her words, Suzy felt even more wronged.

She used to believe in this statement.

Now she didn't.

Because Ethan wasn't like this with Samantha.

This was Ethan's first personal visit, and Lloyd Miller felt infinitely honored, paying no attention to Suzy and quickly approaching, "President Steele, why are you here? Why didn't you inform us in advance so that I could personally greet you at the door? Have you had breakfast? Would you like to have breakfast with us?"

Suzy and Ethan have been engaged for so long.

Not to mention a visit, he didn't even receive a phone call from this son-in-law.

At one point, he thought this marriage would fall apart.

Unexpectedly, Ethan came today.

This involuntarily gave him a glimmer of hope.

Ethan coldly glanced at the breakfast spread, his face full of disdain.

The breakfast was abundant, but whether in appearance or smell, it couldn't match half of what Samantha cooked.

Ethan asked coldly, "Where is Mr. Eddie Miller?"

Lloyd flashed a touch of embarrassment in his eyes. "My father isn't feeling well. He hasn't come downstairs for meals for a long time; the servants bring it upstairs."

Ethan gave him a meaningful look and strode upstairs.

Lloyd broke into a cold sweat, immediately following him cautiously.

Ethan, familiar with the layout, found Grandpa Miller's room and pushed open the door.

Mr. Miller was having a meal, but in front of him was only a bowl of plain congee and a plate of pickles.

It sharply contrasted with the lavish breakfast downstairs.

Lloyd wiped the cold sweat from his forehead, explaining nervously, "My father is old, the doctor says he should have a light diet."

Grandpa Miller didn't even look at him.

He had completely given up on this son; there was no hope left.

Ethan couldn't be bothered to listen to his nonsense and went to Grandpa Miller, asking, "Grandpa, let me take you to the hospital. I've already scheduled a consultation. Samantha will meet us at the hospital."

Hearing that he would soon see Samantha, a spark of vitality instantly appeared in Grandpa Miller's hazy eyes.

He changed into a relatively new set of clothes, leaned on a crutch, and went downstairs with Ethan.

Lloyd, in an attempt to please Ethan, wanted to follow them, but he was sternly rejected by Ethan. He could only watch them disappear from his sight.

Once they were far away, he couldn't help but ask Suzy, "What's going on? Why did President Steele take my father to see Samantha? When did she come back? How did she get involved with Ethan?"

A series of questions lingered in his mind.

He always felt that they were hiding many things from him.

Suzy, who was originally feeling wronged, was infuriated by his questions. "You have to ask your daughter, my good sister! There are so many men in the world, why does she have to snatch my man? If I can't be with Ethan, I'll die in front of you."

After saying that, she turned and went upstairs.

Lloyd was puzzled, looking at Sarah. "What's going on?"

Sarah, with red eyes, pretended to wipe away tears and exaggeratedly said, "It's all because of Samantha. I don't know how she got involved with President Steele. President Steele treats her better than he treats Suzy. I even went to find her specifically, hoping she would give up President Steele. Not only did she not listen, but she also beat me up. I treat her better than Suzy, but she repays kindness with enmity. My heart is broken because of her."

Lloyd knew nothing about the events four years ago.

And she had been maintaining the image of a virtuous wife and mother in front of Lloyd.

After listening to her lament, Lloyd's face instantly became extremely ugly.

"That annoying girl, it's been four years, and she still hasn't repented. Don't worry; I won't let her have a chance to bully you and your daughter again."

“Dear, thank you! You're the best to me." Sarah pretended to be shy, leaning into Lloyd's arms, a hint of conspiratorial triumph in her eyes.

Lloyd thoroughly enjoyed her tenderness.

He needed to find time to meet Samantha.

Regardless, he couldn't let Sarah and her daughter suffer again.

On the other side, after Suzy went upstairs, she was so angry that she smashed everything in the room.

She sat on the bed, breathing heavily.

Even so, the anger in her heart hadn't dissipated. She pulled out another phone from the drawer, using a confidential account to send Samantha's photos from Chelsea Creek to Mrs. Anna Steele.

She didn't believe that Mrs. Steele would allow Ethan to find a stepmother for her grandson.

Wait until Mrs. Steele discovered Samantha's past, she definitely wouldn't allow such a woman to marry into the Steele family.

...

At the Steele family's old residence, Mrs. Anna Steele and Mr. Liam Steele were having morning tea on the terrace when they received Suzy's message. Mrs. Steele's hand trembled, and the teacup fell as she saw the photos. She tremblingly handed the phone to Mr. Steele, saying, “Old man, look... there's a woman at Ethan’s house!”

Mr. Steele glanced at the phone and asked, “Where did this woman suddenly come from?” He knew his son too well. Since the incident five years ago, his son seemed to have changed, avoiding any relations with women. Now, there was a strange woman in the house, making him incredibly curious about her.

Mrs. Steele declared, “No, I have to find an opportunity to go and see! Although I hope our eldest son gets married soon, I don't want him to be with some improper woman. I can't let my grandson suffer any grievances.”

Mr. Steele nodded with a solemn face. “Tomorrow, find some time to go! I haven't seen Noah in a long time; I don't know how the child has been lately. Has he grown taller?”
