CEO's Genius Triplets

Rude Question

Ch. 12 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Samantha looked at Ethan in surprise, unable to believe that the man in front of her was Suzy's fiancé and one of her targets since returning to London this time.

After a brief moment of distraction, she immediately composed herself, took out her business card.

"Mr. Steele, hello, I..."

Ethan coldly interrupted her words, sneering, "Even the chef has a business card?"

Samantha was stunned, her mind a bit short-circuited, not reacting for a moment.

The housekeeper broke out in a cold sweat, anxious to explain, "Sir, she is not..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Ethan stopped him with his hand. "Go and make two dishes for the young master to taste. Remember, he has a stomach problem and can't eat spicy food."

Samantha instantly understood. Ethan mistook her for the chef?

She didn't expect Suzy's son to also have a stomach issue.

This inadvertently reminded her of Alex. Softening, she unexpectedly put down her briefcase, rolled up her sleeves, and entered the kitchen.

The housekeeper gave Ethan a strange look, opened his mouth as if wanting to say something, but didn't know where to start. In the end, he closed his mouth and stood silently on the side.

Half an hour later, two dishes and a soup were ready.

An egg custard, sweet corn with shrimp, and a vegetable soup.

Meat sauce was poured over the egg custard, glistening with a faint sheen under the lights, instantly whetting the appetite.

Ethan picked up a spoon and tasted the egg custard.

The fragrance of the egg instantly spread between his lips and teeth--soft, smooth, without a hint of the fishy taste of eggs.

The taste was surprisingly good, making him unable to resist taking another bite.

Samantha nervously watched Ethan. For some reason, she was especially eager to hear his evaluation.

Under her hopeful gaze, Ethan, who had been prepared to take a third bite, put down the spoon and expressionlessly said, "Prepare two plates. I'll take them up for the young master to taste."

The housekeeper kindly reminded, "Sir, the young master usually only uses one plate..."

Under Ethan's icy gaze, he forcibly swallowed the unfinished words and went to the kitchen to prepare two plates on a tray.

Ethan carried the tray upstairs.

Samantha watched him leave and curiously asked the housekeeper beside her, "Does your master only have one son? Maybe a twin that separated since childhood?"

Alex and Ethan looked so alike.

She couldn't help but suspect whether Alex might be the lost son of Ethan.

Even their ages matched.

The housekeeper assured, "Our master has only one son, and there are no lost siblings."

Samantha asked again, "Could there be other illegitimate children wandering outside?"

She knew this question was a bit rude. But if it wasn't twins, then there was only one possibility.

The housekeeper's mouth twitched, cleared his throat, and explained, "Our master is upright and virtuous, not indulging in extramarital affairs. The young master is just an accident."

Samantha followed up with, "How do you know he doesn't have another accident?"

The housekeeper, sweating slightly, confidently said, "Our master won't let the same thing happen twice. You don't understand our master. If you get to know him better, you'll realize I'm not making this up."

Samantha believed the housekeeper's words. After all, for so many years, she hadn't heard any rumors about Ethan's private life. If he truly had a chaotic personal life, there would have been some gossip. However, she still had doubts and asked, "Do you have a photo of the young master at home? Can you show it to me?"

The housekeeper shook his head, saying, "The young master is reserved and has never liked taking photos since he was a child. The only family photo is in the master's study, and we don't have the right to enter the master's study casually."

"Oh..." Samantha nodded thoughtfully.

If she wanted to see a photo, it seemed she could only go to the study.

How to get into the study?

Maybe...

Maybe she could discuss business in the study with Ellena later...?

...

Ethan brought the meal to the room.

Alexander was busy with the computer, trying to contact Noah.

Unfortunately, he didn't have Noah's contact information. After trying several methods, all ended in failure.

Seeing Ethan coming in, he immediately asked nervously, "Daddy, the lady downstairs didn't see me, right?"

Ethan shook his head and asked seriously, "Why did you call her mommy just now?"

Alexander slyly rolled his eyes, not blushing or panting, and replied, "I mistook her for someone else."

Ethan didn't suspect anything. He placed the tray on the desk, instructed Alexander to come over, and sat down with his own plate and spoon to eat together.

Alexander took a bite of the corn and shrimp, closed his eyes, and sighed with satisfaction.

It was the taste of Mommy.

He had never thought Mommy's cooking was so good.

It was really delicious.

Father and son sat there, taking turns eating. In no time, the meal was finished.

Looking at the empty plates, they reluctantly pursed their lips.

Alexander reluctantly put down his chopsticks and decisively said, "Daddy, I like the food this lady makes, so let her cook for me!"

Although keeping Mommy by his side was risky.

But at least he could see Mommy all the time and eat what Mommy made.

This way, it could also reduce his yearning.

Ethan looked at him with a deep gaze, remained silent for a while, and then left with the tray in hand.
