CEO's Genius Triplets

Most Outstanding Man

Ch. 26 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Ethan's eyes turned cold, like a cheetah, he swiftly rushed out and grabbed the intruder's wrist.

"Clang..."

The teacup in Sarah's hand fell to the ground, shattering into pieces.

An icy chill emanated from the depths of Ethan's eyes. "You have a lot of nerve, daring to eavesdrop."

Sarah's eyes darted nervously, avoiding direct eye contact with Ethan, as she awkwardly explained, "I... I came to bring you tea! I wasn't eavesdropping."

Ethan narrowed his eyes, warning, "You better speak the truth. Otherwise, I will terminate all cooperation with the Miller family."

His thin lips pressed together, radiating a strong sense of oppression.

Sarah was overwhelmed by his powerful presence, struggling to catch her breath, and nodded with a shiver.

Samantha never expected that the sharp-tongued and arrogant Sarah would appear so submissive in front of Ethan. A strange sense of satisfaction filled her heart.

Sarah, embarrassed, was about to leave when Samantha stopped her, "Move my grandfather back to his original room!"

"No..." Sarah began to refuse, but she received a frosty look from Ethan, causing her to nod immediately, "Alright, I will arrange it right away."

"No need, I'll move him myself!"

With that, Samantha took care of Grandpa Miller while Ethan kept an eye on him. She started to tidy up the room and organize Grandpa Miller's clothes.

Sarah's face twisted in anger.

She was furious but dared not speak.

Taking advantage of the time when Ethan wasn't around, Sarah, lowering her voice, asked, "What's your relationship with Mr. Steele? Why is he so good to you?"

Not only that, but he also allowed Noah to sleep with Samantha at night.

Ethan was never so considerate towards Suzy.

Samantha smiled, intentionally teasing her, "Mr. Steele is handsome and has a good temper. He treats me well. What do you think my relationship with him is?"

Before Sarah could respond, she saw Ethan flash past the door.

She instantly held her breath.

She felt that something was wrong.

Ethan must have misunderstood.

This was bad. Just when she had gotten a little closer to him, it seemed like she would have to start over.

Sarah, angered by Samantha's words, trembled with rage, "You wicked woman, if you dare to harm Suzy, I won't let you off."

"Don't let me off? I'll wait and see how you won't let me off."

Samantha's mind was focused on how to explain to Ethan. She had no interest in dealing with her. After leaving a cold remark, she brushed past Sarah and left the room.

Back in Grandpa Miller's temporary room, Samantha sneaked a glance at Ethan.

She found that he seemed unperturbed, showing no signs of suspicion.

If she didn't have full confidence in her vision, she would have thought that she hadn’t seen things.

After arranging the room, the two of them left.

On the way back, Samantha felt awkward and began to explain, "Mr. Steele, just now... um... what I said to Sarah wasn't true. I said those things to provoke her in retaliation. Please don't misunderstand."

As soon as she finished speaking, a chill swept through the cramped car.

Samantha rubbed the goosebumps on her arms and couldn't help but say, "Mr. Steele, it's a bit cold. Can you raise the air conditioning temperature a bit?"

Ethan gave her a expressionless glance and smirked, "Rest assured, even if you really like me, I'm not interested in women like you. You don't need to explain yourself."

Samantha almost bit her tongue.

The little bit of goodwill she had developed toward him disappeared instantly.

As expected.

Ethan Steele was still the same Ethan Steele.

She shouldn't have forgotten his true nature just because he helped her a moment ago.

Samantha felt that Ethan was intentionally messing with her.

Throughout the journey, the temperature inside the car had not gone up but instead decreased.

By the time they returned to Chelsea Creek, she felt like she was turning into an ice lolly.

Ethan not only lacked empathy but also impatiently urged her, "Lunch has already been skipped. Hurry up and make dinner; I'm hungry."

Samantha really, really wanted to slap him.

But remembering his recent act of valor, she had to suppress her dissatisfaction and obediently returned to the kitchen to prepare dinner.

To express her gratitude for Ethan's help, Samantha intentionally prepared a few more dishes.

Five dishes, one soup, plus a dessert.

"Although your mouth is venomous, and you're narcissistic, but today, thank you. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be able to see my grandpa even if I knelt down with broken legs!"

Ethan raised an eyebrow, "What did you say?"

Samantha immediately chuckled, lightly patting her lips and apologizing, "Nothing, I misspoke. You're not just handsome; you also have a good heart. You are the most outstanding man I've ever seen. My admiration for you is like the surging river, never-ending. To express my gratitude, I specially prepared a sumptuous dinner for you, hoping you'll like it."

A stream of rainbow flattery descended, and the surroundings finally warmed up.

Ethan seemed to be pleased. He picked up his fork, selected a dish, and tasted it.

Samantha quickly went to the kitchen to serve him a plate of mashed potato, handing it to him.

Ethan took it with pleasure and started eating leisurely.

Hmm! This woman might be annoying, but her cooking skills were indeed good.

No wonder Noah, with a low voice and humble manner, tried to please him and even requested him to let her stay.

Samantha pulled up a chair and sat beside Ethan, asking, "Mr. Steele, can you please expedite matters with Dr. Huston? My grandfather's condition can't be delayed any longer."

Ethan was thoroughly enjoying Samantha's flattery and attempts to please him.

He glanced at her sideways and said, "Depends on my mood."

Samantha immediately picked up a spoonful of food and fed it to him.

Ethan opened his mouth and ate it.

Samantha smiled, trying to please him, "Mr. Steele, how is your mood now?"

Ethan replied, "Slightly better."

Without hesitation, Samantha fed him another bite of food.

Ethan willingly swallowed it.

A subtle smile appeared at the corner of his mouth, and his mood improved.

Seizing the opportunity, Samantha continued, "So, about Dr. Huston, can you expedite it, preferably by tomorrow? I'm afraid if it drags on, my grandfather won't be able to withstand it."

She knew that Nick Huston and Ethan were good friends.

If Ethan intervened, Nick would surely do his best to treat her grandfather.

Seeing through her intentions, Ethan flashed a hint of satisfaction, "It depends on my mood in the coming days. If I'm in a good mood, he'll have time tomorrow. If not, who knows when he'll be available."

Hearing his words, Samantha gritted her teeth in secret.

When Ethan couldn't see, she cast him a fierce glance.

But her mouth was sweet as honey, "Of course, of course. I will take care of you meticulously these few days..."

Ah.

When under someone's roof, one has to bow one's head.

When seeking help from him, she could only be humble.

Ethan seemed very pleased, allowing Samantha to serve him willingly.

When Suzy walked down from upstairs, she saw Samantha feeding Ethan mouthful by mouthful.

Ethan not only didn't reject but also seemed to enjoy it.

A surge of jealous anger instantly stirred in Suzy's heart, wishing to directly eliminate Samantha.
