Derrick didn't intend to admire the moonlight with Gloria. Looking at her hair that had been ruffled by the wind, he reached out to fix her hair.

Derrick looked at Gloria and said, "Good night, Gloria."
Gloria also said good night to him. Then she turned around and walked into the dormitory.
Derrick watched as Gloria went upstairs.
He was not in a hurry to leave. He lit a cigarette and looked up at the floor where Gloria's room was located. The lights in the living room were on.
Derrick extinguished the cigarette. He walked to his car and glanced in Patrick's direction. Then Derrick opened the door and got in. He started the engine and drove away slowly.
When Derrick's car passed Patrick's, Derrick didn't stop.
Leonard saw this through the window and asked, "Alpha Patrick, what should we do?"
Patrick ordered, "Follow him and intercept him."
Leonard immediately started the car and followed Derrick's car.
Patrick's car was getting closer and closer to Derrick's. Then Leonard sped up, overtook Derrick's car, and stepped on the brakes.
On the quiet, dark road, there was a sudden braking sound. When the two cars stopped, there were less than two meters between the two cars.
The window was down, revealing an expressionless face. Patrick looked coldly at Derrick, who was sitting in the driver's seat.
Derrick's window was also down, and the two men confronted each other.
"Isn't this Alpha Patrick?" Derrick broke the silence. He said to Patrick frivolously sitting in the opposite car, "I didn't expect that Black Thorn Pack's Alpha would follow me in the middle of the night. If the werewolves in Gabbs knew about this, I wonder what they would think of you."
Patrick said expressionlessly, "I don't care what they think, because I don't need to."
A murderous look flashed in his eyes. "You touched someone you shouldn't have touched. Do you still want your hands?"
Hearing Patrick's words, Derrick smiled nonchalantly and said, "Really? I don't know what you mean."
"I think you know exactly what I'm talking about," Patrick said coldly.
"Don't tell me you're talking about Gloria." Derrick stopped smiling. "If that's the case, I couldn't agree with you. Gloria is a werewolf without a pack. She isn't marked. So, she doesn't belong to anyone."
Patrick wasn't affected by what Derrick had said. He looked at Derrick with a cold face and said, "Alpha Derrick, I remember I warned you before that no one should lay a finger on my things, even if I did not want them."
Derrick was slightly irritated, but he quickly hid his emotions.
He said, "Gloria is a werewolf. She has the right to choose her mate. Alpha Patrick, don't be so self-absorbed."
Patrick's eyes were getting more menacing. Derrick continued, "I know something happened between you and Gloria, but since it has already passed, you should let go."
As he heard what Derrick said, Patrick's eyes flashed with a trace of surprise. Patrick didn't know if Gloria had told Derrick something.
"Alpha Derrick, you'd better stop provoking me," Patrick warned in a low voice.
"Even though something happened between you two, it wasn't pleasant. Alpha Patrick, as you see, I can make her smile." Derrick ignored Patrick's warning and continued, "Can you?"
Christine immediately noticed that Patrick's body stiffened. Although it wasn't obvious, she was close enough to know it.
Patrick suddenly asked, "Do you know her well?"
"I'm trying to," Derrick said frankly.
"Then do you know her past and who she was?" Patrick asked.
"It doesn't matter who she was. What's important is that Gloria is a good woman." As he finished speaking, Derrick suddenly thought of something. He continued, "Alpha Patrick, you don't want to make Gloria your mate, do you? If that's the case, we shall have a fair competition."
"Are you joking?" Patrick suddenly sneered. "Gloria is a call girl in Fittro Club. Do you think I would choose her to be my mate? Black Thorn Pack is not like Blood Moon Pack."
Patrick didn't know why he was suddenly angry. How could he possibly want to make Gloria his mate? Gloria was involved with so many werewolves. Wasn't she always thinking about Mike? Yet now she was intimate with Derrick.

Derrick chuckled, "I misunderstood you. However, Gloria is my ideal mate. Although I was casual about relationships before, I'm serious this time."
When Derrick mentioned Gloria, his eyes twinkled.
