This is amazing!
Not at all what I thought he talked about or what I was thinking about!
Yes, he was shameless and clearly very comfortable with his own nakedness, but oh my god! Despite the awkwardness and my inner conflict when he demanded, I looked at him, even when he was naked!
He shifted into a freaking dragon!
When I finally looked at him, I was met with a wide grin before he bent his head back while stretching his arms out and up. Then I felt a slight sensation of fear, fear for what I am about to see. Expecting his skin to split, blood gushing out, and all that, but nothing of it happened. Yes, his skin broke and tore, but instead of blood and bare flesh, blue scales appeared. Deep blue, and the scales looked soft, moving in waves, taking over more and more of his body that was growing at an incredible speed.
Suddenly, all of the man I just saw was gone; all o could see were flashing and moving scales, deep blue with light blue patches dancing over the massive body. I didn't even notice how I now bent my head so far back before my neck began hurting to see all of him. Somehow, I knew massive canines and claws grew, but all I could focus on was that incredible blue color and the wings stretching toward the blue sky. A dragon. A freaking midnight blue dragon! Right in front of me, and the best of it all? The part where I am now sitting on his back, oh, well, more like the end of his neck while we are flying.
Flying! Down between the clouds, wind in my face and hair, and my stomach filled with butterflies and adrenaline pumping through my entire body. This has to be the closest thing I will ever come to flying, and it feels so incredible that I lack words to describe it! A perfect mixture of fear and excitement as we flew right through the clouds, brushing beside us like fluffy cotton candy, disappearing around us. Beneath the clouds was a section with dark blue air before another barrier of clouds, and this continued a couple of times before finally, breaking through the last layer of clouds, land, and sea appeared far, far away. Appearing like a map drawn in a children's book at first, so small and with bright colors separating one thing from the other.
When we came closer, I could tell one thing from the other, tall mountains, beaches, and forests from small creaks, open sea, and vast green fields. Further down we came, the air got colder, like it was biting my cheeks, scraping at my arms and feet. Harsher, so my eyes started watering, and eventually, I had to give up the view and hide my face down towards his scaly body. Each scale was massive, and the blue color looked like it shifted when he moved, like a beautiful sea beneath the moonlight shifting as small waves worked through the cold water. I always expected scales to be hard or maybe slimy, but they were incredibly soft. Like really firm, thick, and warm pillows.
The harsh and cold wind blew around me, whipping my skin and hair while the warm and firm scales, skin of this magical beast, warmed me. It almost felt like the warmth traveled down my body, spread on my skin, and created a protective shield against the wind that increased by the second. I felt for a second that I was lulled into a warm embrace, protected by a raging ice-cold war, and I've never been safer. Right in that second, the wind abruptly stopped, and a loud thump as I was pressed forward and down. We reached Errithia; we had landed.
Just as we landed, as my warm and cozy little state of mind was abruptly pulled away from me, everything suddenly changed. As we landed on an earthquake, everything started to shake, shift and move. Breaking, snapping, and I began falling to the ground, faster and faster, closer and closer, and just as I was about to scream, I landed on something warm and solid. It took me a couple of seconds to realize it was laughter I heard, at least another couple of seconds to realize it was Seb that was laughing and that I was clawing, pushing my nails deep into the skin on his back to hold on. His naked freaking back. That bastard just shifted back while I was sitting on his back!
His laughter filled my ears, danced around me, and grew to the point I expected him to roll over, coughing while struggling to breathe while I franticly tried to get off his back. Something that should have been so easy, but I felt like Bambie on the ice. Always moving the wrong way, leaning on the wrong spot, touching the wrong things. It all ended with me grabbing his freaking ass, I mean both hands, on each cheek. Filling my palms and grabbing to get the fuck up to my feet. Embarrassed like never before, I quickly spun around when he started to get up-still laughing. Still freaking naked and completely shameless about it.
"What the hell is wrong with you? Do you always have to strut around naked?"
"What? You are born naked, and so was I. You are a shifter; are you not used to being naked and seeing naked people? Or is it just my massive cock and firm butt that is making you flustered?"
That reality hit me hard. I am a shifter now, but do I really feel like it? Like one of these people? I don't think I do. I am still just me, a human. A girl dealt some poor cards and got pulled into this strange world where I was supposed to be all along. I could feel Drifta stir in my mind as my mood suddenly dropped, and it was kind of nice. Like a warm hug, embrace, or just a shoulder to hold me steady, but from inside of myself. Strange and incredibly good feeling all in one, but despite that, I could also feel Drifta's sadness. She wanted to run free, be strong, and be in her true form again. She longed for it and needed it, and I haven't given her that opportunity.
"No. I was human until the day before I met you."
I assumed he knew my story all along. Maybe he did; maybe he didn't think about it or remember it. I don't know, but he hit a nerve I didn't realize I had until now. Hit a sore spot I didn't know I needed to work on. All he said was "ah," and I heard movement behind me, so I figured he was getting dressed, realizing he needed to be decent for a change. Then I started to ponder on the timeline. Was it really one day? Or two or even three days after I met Drifta for the first time before Loke pulled me out of nowhere, like a magic trick, and there I was, in a castle above the skies? I really had no idea. I had lost track of time for that period, lost track of time when I met Nida. I didn't even know if time worked the same way down there where Loke took me, but I also realized it wasn't Seb, or Amon, or whatever he wanted to be called's fault.
Thinking about it, it was only natural for him to assume I'd been raised a wolf, I guess, considering I was supposed to be promised to him as a mate. What he knew of me then was a wolf girl, the first shifter girl in decades; how would he know my mother took me back to earth? With a deep sigh, I turned around, ready to apologize, only to realize just how socially awkward this lizard guy really was.
Drifta rolled over laughing so hard I heard her snorting like a little piglet in my head, while I felt I had that "about to go insane" twitch at the corner of my eye just gaping while a butt-naked Seb stood there, in all his pride. Beaming smile, hands behind his head, swinging his hips around and making his dick spin around like a meat sausage having a stroke.
"Helicopter! This will make you feel more comfortable, right? I mean, nobody can look at this stupid thing and still be as turned on as you were the other day!"
You got to be freaking kidding me! How did this man survive so many years?
