" Thank you for having me here,"
Arnold bowed his head for a second and uttered politely.
Now, he was really eager to express himself out, and with Belle's cute actions, he thought she also knew he was her mate.
" Oh no, it nothing. Just feel comfortable." Scott shook his head and crossed his right leg over his left leg.
Emilia nodded her head in agreement to Scott's words.
Arnold smiled even more, when he heard what Scott said, but he noticed a questioning gaze from the Alpha and the Luna. It was subtle though, but he was able to detect it. Clearing his throat, " Ahem!"
He stared straight at Scott's eyes,
" Am happy to be here, but the main reason is because I believe I have found my mate. I didn't expect her to be here, but guess I was wrong. My mate is here, and I want to claim her." His voice was calm and deep, but it carried a little air of command, which Scott and Emilia didn't fail to notice.
The Alpha was a little stunned by Arnold's words, but in fact he was actually very delighted. That would mean a positive thing for the two packs, and he was already planning to cooperate with the Crescent Moon Pack. He couldn't explain how he felt, but he decided to keep his happiness at bay first and acted like the way he was supposed to.
" This is great news!" The Luna joined her fingers together, with her lips shaping into a stellar smile. She was excited and immediately was sure Arnold's mate would be her daughter
Am sure it will be my baby Belle, my daughter is very special! She exclaimed inwardly and shifted her eyes to Belle, winking subtly at her daughter.
Belle saw what her mother did, and her face flushed lightly again. She didn't know who Arnold was talking about, but she silently prayed for it to be her.
" Who?"
Arnold, Belle, and Emilia, all heard Scott's voice. It was bass and terse, but it contained a lots of curiosity. The Alpha's face was impassive, as he inquired from the Prince of the Crescent Moon pack and inwardly hoped for Arnold's mate to be his precious daughter.
Arnold relaxed himself properly on the black couch he was sitting and turned his face to Belle's side, staring lovely at the young Princess close to him.
This action of his alone was enough to answer Scott's question.
"Congratulations Arnold!" The Luna was the first to break the ice of silence, and that was when Scott smiled towards his daughter.
" Am really glad to hear this!" Scott exclaimed happily, having the feeling to celebrate the good news he just heard.
Scott and Emilia's happy expression made Arnold more delighted, and he had a feeling of completeness within him.
Belle couldn't believe her ears, but she knew this was real, and it gave her butterflies feeling. She felt like kissing Arnold till she run out of breath. Though, Belle didn't feel the mate attraction from Arnold, but she was crushing on him, and since he actually said she was his mate, then she will have to go with the flow.
It would not only be beneficial to her parents, but also to her as she would become the Luna of the Crescent Moon Pack and also surely get more respect. She smiled sweetly seeing how her status was going to get more higher, and of course she was going to be with a hunk of a guy.
Best combination ever! She screamed inwardly.
" Thank you for your support."
Arnold placed his right palm on his chest and inclined his head downward slightly.
" Our support is necessary, and besides it a really good thing. But you know Belle is about to clock eighteen, and soon she will be having her first shape shift as a wolf," Scott explained softly, maintaining eye contact with the Alpha Prince.
" Oh, that's no problem. I can wait till then," Arnold acceded to Scott's explanation and decided to patiently wait till Belle will be eighteen years of age, and by then she will already have a wolf.
" I think we should have a feast to celebrate this!"
Emilia stood up and looked at the people in the living room. It was obvious she was really elated.
Belle quietly nodded at what her parents said, with a smile engraved on her face.
Scott stood up also and held Emilia's hand, both of them facing Arnold.
" I think you should have a rest first, before any other thing...."
Scott said but paused for a second before resuming his words, " I will send someone to take you to your room."
Then, both of them took their leave, leaving behind Belle and Arnold.
None of the two people sitting beside each other uttered anything, as it could be said they were shy. Absolute silence enveloped them, until Arnold couldn't take it anymore and, he moved closer to Belle.
Belle, who noticed the close distance between she and Arnold, felt something ignite in her, and her face turned red again in nothing but embarrassment.
" So you are Belle?"
Arnold whispered, and he could see how she quivered lightly, when his voice danced into her ears.
Belle took a deep breath and calmed herself down. Lifting her face up to gaze at the Alpha Prince beside her, " Yes, my name is Belle, and you are Arnold right?"
Arnold smiled as Belle's voice sounded delicate to his ears, and he inhaled her strong scent again.
" Yes, am glad to find you." He took hold of her right hand and kissed the back of her palm.
" Same here too," Belle gave a toothy grin, acting like he was also her mate but deep inside her, she wasn't sure. But thought, it won't be a bad thing to falsely act like his mate though.
" I can't wait to settle a real strong mutual bond with you. To mark you and claim you as mine!"
The Alpha Prince growled sexily and rubbed her soft hand.
Belle laughed lightly and shook her head, " Chill Arnold."
Looking at the Prince charming in front of her, she felt like she could stare at him till eternity. She was gradually falling for Arnold, and it sort of amaze her.
Arnold made a throaty chuckle, but it appeared seductive to Belle, and she bit her lower lip.
Anatalia came to the living room and saw how Arnold and Belle was acting, but it was none of her concern. She was instructed by Scott to take Arnold to one of the available fancy guest rooms in the house.
