The Rejected Hybrid

Ch. 84 / 120 Jan 16, 2026

Camela was rendered speechless as it all felt like a dream. She became immobile and stared like a lost soul.

This was all Lexa's fault! She screamed in her head and the hate she had for the girl doubled.

The woman felt herself been dragged by the man beside the cop, as she didn't step out and the next thing she knew was, been locked up in the city jail.

Camela couldn't believe what happened to her, and she vowed to get rid of Lexa, the next time she sees her.

Beware Lexa, I mustn't see you or consider yourself dead! She growled and tugged her hair violently.

***********

Blazing Red Moon pack.

Earlier, when the Alpha and Luna left the meeting room, including the Elders, Beta, and the Gamma. Remaining only Lexa and the two adult werewolves, who brought her to the pack.

Lexa seeing she was free now, stood up and turned to face the two werewolves, " Well, I must say thank you....." She smirked and shrugged, then proceeded to take her leave also. But she turned back and made a mocking face to the two werewolves, wiggling her tongue out.

Lexa could see how the two werewolves looked enraged, and she sniggered, trying to suppress her laughter. The male werewolf growled at Lexa, and the latter widened her eyes, then swiftly jogged out of the meeting room before the big bad wolf pounce on her.

The two werewolves were embarrassed, but there was nothing they could do, since it was the Alpha's decision.

Lexa was taken to a small room in the Alpha's house by one of the lowly omegas, who worked as part of the servants to the Alpha and Luna.

Other servants gazed at her weirdly, due to her being a rogue and Lexa frowned, not liking the kind of attention she was getting.

" Miss, is it because am a rogue and that's why they are staring at me like that?"

The lowly omega, who was leading Lexa to her room, shifted her face to Lexa and gave a wee smile, " Yes, but don't worry, they will get used to it. It just that a rogue isn't acceptable in our pack and that's why. I must say you are a very lucky one to be spared."

Lexa realized the lady beside her was a nice fellow, but what she said made a chill run down her spine. She quivered lightly, but it was subtle. Her mind raced to what would have happened if she wasn't spared, and she suddenly became frightened.

That's means I might have been long gone? She inquired herself thoughtfully and took a deep breath.

The lowly omega noticed Lexa's current state and grabbed her left hand, " Hey, it okay. Since you are already spared, there is nothing to worry about again."

The lady tried to comfort Lexa with her words.

Lexa smiled at the lady and nodded at her.

" Can I know your name?"

" My name is Anatalia, " replied the omega servant.

" Am Lexa and nice to know you. "

Anatalia chuckled, as she continued to lead Lexa to her room, " Alright."

" Yes, and thank you so much, " Lexa liked how Anatalia communicated with her and was sincerely grateful.

" For what?"

Anatalia questioned curiously while eyeing Lexa. She had no idea why Lexa was thanking her and wanted to know.

Lexa appeared stunned but nonetheless, she answered Anatalia, " For being nice of course."

" Oh," Anatalia seemed to realise why Lexa was thanking her, and she shook her head.

What followed the two people next was complete silence, until they got to their aimed place.

" This is your room. Please, feel free, and let me know if you need anything, " Anatalia uttered gently as she opened the door, with Lexa trailing behind her.

They both stepped into the small room, which was cleaned and tidy, with a small bulb at the top, serving as the source of light to the room.

" No problem, I will, " Lexa looked around the room, and it gave her a feeling of nostalgic. She recollected how her room looked like at her foster mother's house.

She sighed as she sat on the small bed in the room and started thinking about how her life changed so fastly within a day. From been chased to been captured and brought to an unknown place full of werewolves. And almost getting killed. All the thoughts made her feel fatigued, and she laid on her bed. The bed wasn't that floppy, but it was okay with her.

Anatalia already left, the moment she sat on her bed.

Some hours after Scott left the meeting room, the Beta came to meet him, and they got into an earnest discussion.

The duo could be seen strolling in the empty hallway inside the Alpha's house. Scott was wearing a solemn face, and his hands were at his back, while the Beta was wearing an impassive face.

" Alpha, am still wondering why you decided to spare a rogue. Is there something I need to know?"

The Beta said calmly. He couldn't understand what just happened some hours ago, and his curiosity was getting the best of him.

From his side view, he could see how the Alpha was hesitating on wanting to say something but seems he wasn't sure.

" You know, apart from being your Beta, I am also like a family to you," The Beta added, trying to make Scott expressed himself out.

Well, he succeeded as Scott finally shifted his face to him.

" Yes and that's why it hard to say this, but I don't know how you will view what am about to say, " Scott halted in his steps and faced the Beta.

The Beta also turned to face him, " Don't worry, I will try my best to understand."

" Norman, what if I told you I felt an attraction towards the girl,,,,,,,"

He paused his words, when he saw how the Beta widened his eyes at what he just uttered. Instantly, he knew the Beta just misunderstood him.

" Not that kind of attraction you are thinking. I mean something like a bond, and what surprised me most was Emilia also felt the same thing,"

He finally explained to see the Beta, Norman, wearing a shock expression.

" So that's why?"

Norman nodded, as he now understood why Scott spared the rogue.

" Yes," Scott responded back.

Norman recomposed himself, and they both continued walking, " But what could that be?"

" Have no idea,"

The Alpha shrugged, which had Norman to hummed.
