Lexa turned to face the Luna and couldn't deny Emilia was one kind of a rare unique beauty. Her silk like skin was spotless, and it glowed pretty despite, how the room was a little bit dark, but nonetheless she parted her lips slightly, " Yes, I am."
Emilia made a throaty sound like she agreed with her, and she nodded.
" So, can you tell me about yourself?" Emilia was curious to know about Lexa and with how she was looking at the young teen, she could detect Lexa was the same age as her daughter.
" Am Lexa, and am from Phoenix city. Am seventeen, and I think that's all," The young teen calmly answered the Luna, but deep inside she was baffled on why the Luna wanted to know about her. Though, she hoped for it to be a good thing.
" Humm, don't you have any family?"
Turns out Emilia was correct about Lexa's age, but somehow she was sad to hear the young teen's age. She just couldn't help it and thought of how Lexa became a rogue at a very young age. She felt a compassion for the girl beside her, and her eyes softened more.
Lexa dropped her eyes to the ground and shook her head, " They are dead."
She knew nothing about her parents, and that was what her foster mother told her the day she inquired about her parents. Since then, she stopped thinking about her parents and carried on with her life. Her face was expressionless, and what she uttered almost made Emilia's eyes to watered, but she controlled herself and tried to calm herself down.
" That's so sad," Emilia wore a moody look, which surprised Lexa. The latter wasn't used to people pitying and caring for her, infact it was a foreign feeling right know, and it made her got more puzzled.
Emilia wasn't aware of what Lexa was thinking, but she was still sad on knowing Lexa was just an helpless orphan.
" It already gone, so it nothing," came the young girl's nonchalant answer. She buried her parents thought a long time ago, though she was still hurt, but it wasn't something to worry about.
Emilia agreed thoughtfully, " You are right on that." The intimacy she felt towards Lexa was making her to have different thoughts, but she couldn't comprehend it at all.
Lexa said nothing, and her eyes wasn't on Emilia anymore.
" Don't worry nothing will happen to you here, and now I have arranged for you to be my daughter's slave. You only just have to take care of my daughter, and I hope you are okay with that?"
Emilia's voice sounded in Lexa's ears, and she almost choked out when the word (slave) entered her ears. Just what the heck is all this?! Why can they all let me live a stress free life hun?!
She screamed inside her head and made a grumpy face.
"..." Lexa didn't know what to say and felt annoyed.
" Lexa?" Emilia called her, when she got no response from her.
Lexa tried to suppress the burning flames of fury in her heart and said through gritted teeth, " Yes!"
" Oh, that's good then," The Luna beamed at Lexa's reply. She won't deny been aware of how the young girl was annoyed, but she had her reason for doing that.
Lexa mimicked Emilia inwardly and rolled her eyes.
Then, Emilia stood up, which made Lexa to also lift herself up and wondered what was going to happen next.
" Go and get a rest. By tomorrow, you will be attending to the needs of my daughter," The Luna clapped her hands slightly and gave Lexa a warmly smile.
The young teen stared dully at her and nodded her head. She proceeded to take her leave, when Emilia opened the door for her.
As she stepped out, she exhaled in relief and went ahead to her room.
The next day came with the sun taking over it duty and sharing it's glory all over the place. As beautiful as it looked, it was still dangerous, cause it bright rays could pierced any eyes. Many prefer the keeper of the night, moon, over the keeper of the day, especially the supernatural beings. They found the keeper of the night to be their own special keeper, but all these was unknown to the mortal world.
No mortal was aware of what goes beneath the eyes, except those that have their destines tied to the supernatural world.
Lexa was enjoying her sweet nice sleep before a servant barged into her room, and she woke up immediately, screaming at the intruder before starting to look for something to defend herself with.
" Hey, it me Anatalia!" The servant, who barged him, revealed herself, which had Lexa to sighed and rest her back to the bed.
" You scared me Ana!" She patted her chest with her right palm, taking in steady breaths and trying to chill herself.
Anatalia tittered and shook her head, " I didn't mean to. Just that your attention is needed and that's why." She moved closer to Lexa and gave her a gentle smile.
" Oh, okay then,"
Lexa adjusted herself and took Anatalia's right hand in hers. " Let's go," she added and started sauntering out of her room with Anatalia.
"Are you aware of your position now?" The female servant questioned Lexa in a low tone, as she knew the werewolves were beings with sharp ears.
" Yes, a slave to the Princess blablabla," Lexa mumbled, when she recollected what the Luna told her yesterday, but there was no how she could protest to what Emilia said.
Anatalia could sense how Lexa wasn't interested in becoming the Princess' slave, but it was her job now.
" I think you are lucky with that job, at least all you have to do is to serve the Princess. But just for you to know, she can be a brat sometimes," The female servant curled her lips to one side and whispered to Lexa.
" Really?" The young teen questioned indifferently and sneered.
" Yep," Anatalia nodded positively.
*******
" Mum, do you really need to get me a personal slave? I already have a maid," The Princess of the Blazzing Red Moon pack, Belle, who was also the only child of Emilia and Scott, pouted in a cute manner. She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to convince her mother she didn't need a personal slave.
" I know what am doing dear, just trust me," Emilia held her daughter's left hand and showed her an assuring smile.
