Lexa was in awe with everything she heard from Arnold, and she couldn't stop herself from grinning.
" That was really cool like it's awesome!"
Arnold just smiled, " Yeah, I know right? But it is not always easy." He sighed quietly.
" I know, and now am beginning to respect you more," Lexa responded back and looked at his side view.
Currently, they were both seating on a big rock at the backyard.
" Really?" Arnold's face brightened up.
As Lexa was about to reply, Anatalia arrived at the backyard and greeted Arnold.
" Good day Prince Arnold." She bowed her head slightly.
Arnold nodded at her but didn't face Anatalia.
" Lexa, breakfast is served," Anatalia announced to Lexa, who immediately stood up and went to Anatalia's side.
" I will be going now," Lexa turned her head back at Arnold and said politely while smiling.
" Alright." Arnold replied her and waved at her.
Anatalia and Lexa took their leave, heading straight to Lexa's room. That was when something popped in Lexa's head, and she recalled what she had in mind earlier.
" There is something that is confusing to me," Lexa blurted out and shifted her face to look at Anatalia's side profile as they were walking.
Anatalia knitted her brows, also turning to face Louvre, " What's that?"
" It about the Alpha and the Luna. The Luna told me they were going to the city for a certain business they have. So, what am not getting is, how come humans are unable to get this place? Is this a hidden community or what?"
The young girl was only curious and wanted to satisfied herself. Somethings are getting confusing for her, and she just want to get it clear.
Anatalia stopped walking and fully turned to face Lexa, staring straight into her eyes, " It is a hidden community, and there are still more of this kind of hidden community so don't be surprised. Also, the humans can never detect this place. I don't know how but from what I heard from my grandmother, this place is only visible to the werewolves and, it is protected by some kind of array magic.....," The female servant went on and explained, but her words were cut before she could finished explaining things.
Lexa was somehow surprised to hear what Anatalia said, but one thing that caught her attention most was Anatalia's last words which was ' magic'. She furrowed her brows and wondered if there is anything called magic.
" Magic? Does magic exist?"
" Oh yes, it does," Anatalia assured Lexa and nodded positively.
" I don't think so. I don't believe in magic," Lexa refused to agree with Anatalia's words and shook her head negatively while a frown was on her face.
Anatalia knew this might later turn into an argument, and it might also not lead to something good, so she decided to keep quiet.
" Well, everyone's belief is different."
After her words, nobody said anything again, and they continued their walk.
Soon, they got to the hallway of the big house, and they saw Belle.
She was wearing a grouchy expression and her mouth was pouted. Belle was actually annoyed by Arnold's actions and she felt embarrassed. Now, she just wanted to transfer all her aggressions out on any body.
Luckily, she heard some faint footsteps and immediately lifted her face up. There, she saw her personal slave and one of the house servants. Belle grinned and nodded.
" Hey! Come over here," Belle straightened herself and called Lexa loudly.
Lexa wasn't expecting to see Belle at the hallway, and she scrunched her face together, feeling annoyed, but she tried to suppress the intense feeling that was brewing in her.
Wanting to ignore her, but the Princess noticed that.
" Are you deaf?"
Anatalia patted Lexa's back but that didn't help Lexa, and she groaned slightly.
" What is it?"
Belle frowned and marched towards Lexa, " What do you mean? Are you talking to me like that? So disrespectful!"
Lexa closed her eyes and sighed, she was thinking of how to deal with Belle without she getting hurt. She was really itching to teach Belle a lesson but because Belle was a princess, she couldn't just do anything like that.
" Just say what you want me to do."
" You are getting more bold Lexa, wow that's impressive but it seems you are forgetting your place at the same time!" Belle glared coldly at her slave and shook her head.
Now, Lexa was getting more and more frustrated, but Belle was enjoying the look on Lexa's face.
" Go and clean my washroom and arrange my clothes!" Lexa heard Belle's command, and she widened her eyes immediately.
" I just finished cleaning the washroom early this morning!"
" So? Are you going to question me or do what I ordered you?!" Belle barked at Louvre annoyingly.
Lexa didn't say anything and just shoot daggers with her eyes at Belle.
The young Princess crossed her arms over her chest and scoffed, while she turned her back, " Am expecting you slave! And don't forget the consequences if you dare to disobey me!"
Then, Belle walked away, leaving only Anatalia and Lexa at the hallway.
" Argh! I hate her!" Lexa stomped her feet and hissed once Belle was out of sight. She hated how Belle was ordering her, though she knew it was necessary, but she still couldn't accept it.
It was totally not cool!
Anatalia, who kept quiet the whole time, suddenly cleared her throat lightly.
" Being stubborn won't help you Lexa, it won't lead you to anything good. I will really advice you to just be patient instead of trying to dare the Princess."
Anatalia was only worried about Lexa and told her what she believed to be the right thing.
" I should be patient? Even though, she is treating me so unfair? Are you kidding me? I can't stand that!" Lexa frowned, and she locked her jaw.
She couldn't believe what Anatalia was saying.
Anatalia exhaled, " Listen to me Lexa, I know what's best and you just have to follow my words okay? Do as I said," she uttered solemnly.
Lexa shook her head and shifted her eyes away from Anatalia's face. As mad as she was, it was still the truth, and she wouldn't deny that but it hurts her. All her life, she had always received too much orders, and it wasn't pleasant to her. She loved to be free, and she secretly craved for it.
She hated to be tamed and just wanted to fly so high like a bird. But it wasn't possible, and it hurts her even more.
When was she ever going to be free?
Why was life so unfair?
