The Chosen Luna: Alpha’s Unwanted Daughter

Chapter 633

Ch. 623 / 790 May 05, 2026

The battle was swift and fierce, the sound of clashing steel and the growl of wolves filling the air. Bella’s senses were heightened to an almost supernatural degree as she moved, her body reacting with fluid precision to every strike and counter. The Shadowbound warriors, skilled and vicious as they were, seemed slow compared to her, their movements easily predicted.

Lira fought beside her, her silver hair flashing as she dispatched foes with ease. The warriors under Lira’s command moved with similar grace, each one an extension of her will. Bella, however, felt something different stirring inside her—a surge of power she had never known before. Her instincts took over completely, and before she could stop herself, she was no longer simply fighting to defend. She was hunting.

In the blink of an eye, Bella sent one of the Shadowbound warriors flying with a single swipe, her claws extending from her fingers as they slashed through the air like sharpened daggers. Another warrior tried to grab her from behind, but Bella spun, knocking him to the ground with a force that left him gasping for breath.

Lira watched with growing awe as Bella effortlessly dispatched more enemies, her movements becoming more fluid, more instinctual. The raw power emanating from her was unlike anything Lira had ever seen before. It was as if Bella had tapped into something ancient and primal, something that pulsed within her bloodline.

“Bella,” Lira called, her voice rising above the chaos of the fight. “That power—do you feel it? It’s your bloodline awakening.”

Bella’s breath was heavy, but her eyes blazed with a newfound understanding. Her senses were sharp, every movement and every strike precise, as if she were in tune with the very heartbeat of the world around her. The medallion around her neck hummed with energy, its glow brighter than ever before.

“I… I feel it,” Bella whispered, awe and fear mixing in her voice.

“You have the strength of two wolves, Bella,” Lira explained, her voice calm but filled with a weight of knowledge. “Your parents’ union, their forbidden bloodline—it’s what makes you so powerful. But it’s also dangerous. You’re not just one wolf; you carry the strength of both. That’s why Shadowbound and others fear you.”

Bella’s heart raced at the realization. The power she had always felt deep inside her was more than just strength—it was a force that could change the balance of the packs, one that she was only beginning to understand. It was a responsibility she hadn’t asked for, but it was hers nonetheless.

As the last of the Shadowbound warriors fled, the dust began to settle, and Bella took a moment to catch her breath. Her body was still humming with energy, her mind a whirlwind of thoughts. But before she could process everything, a sound broke through the tension—a low, pained groan.

One of the captured Shadowbound spies, a young man, lay on the ground, bound and bloodied. His eyes flickered up at Bella, fear evident in their depths. He trembled slightly, his gaze shifting to the retreating forms of his comrades.

“You…” the spy gasped, his voice strained, but defiant. “You really don’t know, do you?”

Bella crouched in front of him, her gaze cold and unwavering. “What don’t I know?”

The spy swallowed hard, his breath shaky. He tried to push himself up but faltered, collapsing back onto the ground. “Shadowbound… they won’t stop,” he whispered, his voice filled with dread. “They won’t stop until they destroy your family… before you ever reach them.”

Bella’s blood ran cold at the words, her stomach twisting with dread. The implications of what he said hit her like a hammer. If Shadowbound truly knew about her parents—if they intended to destroy them—she couldn’t waste another moment. She had to find them, no matter the cost.

“Who are you working for?” Bella demanded, her voice low and threatening.

The spy gritted his teeth, refusing to answer at first, but the pressure of Bella’s gaze, the weight of her newfound power, made him crack. “Shadowbound,” he gasped. “He’s watching you… Shadowbound’s not done with you yet. He’ll come for them… come for you.”

Lira stepped forward, her expression cold as she knelt next to Bella. She glanced at the spy, her lips curling into a bitter smile. “That’s enough. We’ve heard enough.”

Bella rose to her feet, her thoughts swirling. Shadowbound’s words echoed in her mind, a constant reminder of the danger that loomed ahead. If he was indeed watching, if he knew what she was capable of, then the time to move had come. There was no more running, no more hiding. Her family, her bloodline, was at risk, and she would not allow that to happen.

Lira’s voice broke through her thoughts. “You’ve proven yourself today, Bella. But this is only the beginning. Shadowbound will come for you, and when he does, you must be ready.”

“I will be,” Bella said, her voice filled with determination. The power inside her burned brighter than ever before. “I won’t let anyone destroy my family. I won’t let them take away what’s mine.”

Lira nodded, her silver eyes gleaming with pride. “Then let’s make sure they never get the chance.”
