I parked my car five blocks away from the venue.
I checked my map and it showed that I was in the right place.
It looked a bit sketchy. I looked around and it was empty. No sign of anyone.
I hugged myself just as I started shivering out of fear. Goosebumps covered my arms and I rubbed it.
My phone started ringing and I silenced it seeing it was Diane. She could text me whatever information she had.
I waited for some sort of confirmation that she was here. I couldn't keep standing here alone.
I made up my mind to leave. My bravery flew away at the thought of staying here a second longer.
I turned my back and headed back to my car, I heard hurried footsteps behind me and I turned.
I felt something heavy at the back of my head and my eyes rolled to the back of my head.
I felt my body being dragged to what felt like a car. My body seized up, the courage I had left my body as unreasonable fear gripped me.
I woke up a while later, my head pounding so much that I groaned out loud. I adjusted my eyes to the darkness before my brain could catch up.
"What the hell?" I muttered as I looked around.
Nothing around here looked familiar. I tried to get up but the ropes around me prevented me.
I blinked when I saw myself clearly since I woke up. I was sitting in a chair bound like a fucking dog.
I gritted my teeth.
"Hey!" I yelled to no one in particular, "Let me out of here!!!"
I kept screaming and yelling thinking someone would come to my rescue. I should laugh at myself.
It was foolish to try and play the hero. Killian was right, I was crazy to think I could handle this.
I was freaking out because nobody knew where I was.
No one was coming to save me.
I tried to free myself but it was useless. All the bondage play I did with Killian and I couldn't get myself out of a knot.
I chuckled at the irony.
I stopped laughing the minute I realized they never took my phone. My hope for survival returned when I reached it.
The smile on my face widened the more when I got to Killian's contact. I hope the drug is out of his system.
The phone is ripped away from my arms.
"What the hell..." and the words died in my throat when I stared at Alice's grinning face.
"Alice?"
She threw my phone to the floor laughing so hard I was scared she would choke to death.
"Surprised?" she asked.
I glared at her, "I should have known it was you behind those letters." I said.
It was a lie.
I wouldn't have known.
Alice rolled her eyes, "You are so pathetic." her hands came up to caress me before she shoved my face away.
"I have another surprise for you. I am so excited!" she clapped her hands together.
A figure emerged from the shadows and almost choked on air. My eyes widened as I felt words leave my lips but no sound came out.
"This is almost too good," Alice said, satisfied with my reaction.
"Vixen?" my voice cracked.
It could be the hit I took to the head but the person I was searching for was standing in front of me staring at me with lifeless eyes.
"How could you? I thought you were my friend?" I couldn't help the hurt that seeped into my voice.
She scoffed, "No wonder you felt like you didn't belong with him. You are weak and pathetic for ever thinking you could." she snarled.
I jerked back in surprise, her words cutting deeper than it was meant to.
My eyes widened when I put two and two together.
"You tried to seduce him but he rejected you." I would have laughed but I had a feeling that she wouldn't appreciate it.
She glared at me, "I didn't need to try." she snapped.
I scoffed.
"You did this because you wanted him when he rejected you, you resorted to this. I looked for you thinking you had been kidnapped because I cared."
Vixen rolled her eyes, and even Alice groaned.
"I don't need your sob stories. You should have stayed gone but no, you had to cling to him. I am going to make you regret the day you met him." she laughed.
Just like that, the wool covering my eyes was removed and I could see Vixen for who she truly was.
As she stood there, her arms folded across her chest and she glared at me. She looked like the epitome of the kind of girl my mother warned me about.
A monster.
She lured me in under pretense, pretended to be my friend, and helped me. But she had her motive in the end.
She was right, I am pathetic and too trusting for my own good.
Alice chuckled, "You little bitch, I should have known you were sleeping with him. You lied to my face and with a straight face too."
"It's not your business." I snapped.
"But now it is, you should have been a good little sport. I was curious that Killian would rather lose his investor than send you to Andrew for a measly fuck. You must have good pussy." she sneered.
Her hand inched to my zipper but I slapped it away. She laughed before letting go.
I let out a sigh of relief.
Vixen stepped closer to me and I tensed, thinking she wanted to hit me.
I felt a prick at the side of my neck and stared at her suspiciously but she just kept smiling down at me.
My body became numb, I tried to speak but words wouldn't come out.
My vision became blurry but I could still make out their smiling faces as they watched me struggle.
A single tear slid down the corner of my eyes as my head lulled to the side as darkness took over.
