The Alpha Triplets and the Rogue

440 Unwanted Creature

Ch. 440 / 580 Jan 28, 2026

Macy POV

Reluctantly, I follow my mother down to her office. The Luna Queen and the twins are waiting for us inside. Winston gives me a bright smile when I walk in the door, and I can't help but smile back at him. Even though he held me in his arms all night, Edward is, once again, pretending like I don't exist.

"Please sit," Raven says sweetly.

It isn't a command, but it doesn't make me any less uncomfortable. Instead of letting me sit down beside him, Winston pulls me into his lap and wraps his arms around me. Tingles spread over my skin, and he nuzzles his nose into my neck, causing me to giggle.

Edward's head snaps in my direction at the sound of my laughter, and his jaw ticks with irritation. I don't understand what I have done wrong when he pulls me off Winston's lap and into his. There is a small tug of war between them before Edward settles me onto his lap, and Winston pulls my feet into his.

"Are you three settled?" The Luna Queen growls from the desk.

"Quite," Edward smirks, but the scowl from his mother causes him to clamp his mouth shut.

I look up at her, and she looks annoyed. It is the same face she was wearing when Nyx took over my mind. It is weird because the Luna Queen has never been annoyed with me before. We have always had a nice relationship. She would visit me and bring me gifts even when my mother forbade the twins from coming into the South Pack.

Nyx is growling quietly in my mind. She doesn't appreciate the tone the Luna Queen has taken with us. She is on guard.

'She is not your Queen,' she growls.

"Have I done something to offend you?" I ask her, trying to mend the situation. "I thought you would be pleased that we are getting along."

"I need to speak with Nyx," she demands.

I glance in Mom's direction, but she is staring at the ground. This was never about speaking to me. The Luna Queen wants to know my plans. This is an interrogation, an ambush. I swing my legs off Winston and get to my feet.

"I don't need your permission," she reminds me.

Her voice is cold and callous. It causes something to switch inside of me. These people are no longer my family or friends. They view me as their enemy, and I will not bend to their will.

"You can go into my mind if that is what pleases you, but that doesn't mean Nyx will talk to you," I remind her.

"I need to know how two Fae creatures ended up in the Human Realm," the Luna Queen hisses at me. "If I have to sift through your mind to find the answer, I will."

"Mom," Edward shouts at her, but she shuts him up with a blink of her eyes. I will have to fight this battle alone.

"You are so hostile," I groan. "My mind won't give you the answers you need. You need Nyx's. I think you have forgotten we don't share a mind."

"Because she isn't a true werewolf," the Luna Queen shouts. "She is a fucking parasite that has been leeching off us for five hundred years. I was too blind to see her for what she is before, but I won't make the same mistake twice."

"Wow, okay, we are done here," I snarl and head for the door.

"Sit down," the Luna Queen commands me.

She has thrown the full force of her Royal Luna command over me, and it is like cold water has been dumped onto my head. I don't sit, but I do turn to her slowly.

"You cannot command me," I warn her. "I would think twice before you do it again."

"Is that a threat?" She snaps at me. "You are already an unwanted creature among us. It would be terrible if you were to threaten the Queen."

"No," I grind my teeth together. "It is not a threat. I am just curious as to when I became an unwanted creature. Just a few days ago, you were begging me to accept your sons as my mates."

The Luna Queen and I stare at one another. Our blue eyes are matched in color. Something I never understood before. My parents eyes are not this color, but now it makes sense. Just like magic flows through Raven, it flows through me too. My head tilts to the side as I wonder what power my magic will hold.

"From this moment on, you are a prisoner of the Royal Family. As a creature that doesn't belong in this realm, I cannot let you be free," the Raven's voice shakes. "Fae creatures are dangerous. You will complete the mate bond with my sons to fulfill the prophecy, but any child that is conceived will not be allowed to live."

Her words are disgusting and vile. I turn to look at the twins, and their eyes are wide as they look at their mother.

"Don't look to them for help," she growls. "They are under my command."

"Raven," Mom gasps. "This isn't what we discussed. You can't do this. She was packing to leave. To go. to her realm."

"How do we know she will actually leave?" Raven asks frantically."Fae cannot be trusted. When her powers grow to full strength, she will be dangerous. I am sorry, Tish, but maybe the prophecy was about Macy."

"Raven," Mom pleads with her. "You are out of control. It's like I don't even know you anymore."

"I have a kingdom to protect," Raven shouts back at her. "And now the fate of the Human Realm rests on my shoulders as well. You have to let me make this decision."

I watch the exchange between the two of them. My heart is breaking with every word that is said but I don't let it be shown on my face. I am stronger than this. Suddenly, Nyx leaps from my mind.

'She is going to put cuffs on you,' she warns me. 'I will stay by your side every moment. I promise.'

My face begins to get hot, and I feel like I might vomit. Visions of war and famine rush through my mind stronger than before. It is almost as if the incoming war is becoming more solidified in the future. It is no longer a moment that weaves in and out of time with uncertainty.

'They will become more frequent now that I am not there to stop them,' Nyx says sadly.

"It's okay, Nyx," I moan as I wobble on my feet.

Nothing made sense up until this moment. None of the prophecies, Nyx being in my mind, and the twins deep hatred for me. But now everything is clear. A smile spreads across my face, and I throw back my head with laughter.

"Why are you laughing?" Mom hisses. "You will only make things worse."

"The twins aren't at the center of the destruction of this world. Raven is. Her fear and hatred for Fae creatures will burn humans and werewolves alike," I cannot stop laughing.

"You are insane," Raven spits at me.

"Nyx, when does the veil thin?" I ask her aloud.

'In a month,' she responds as her shadow circles Raven.

"And you said I am some sort of Princess?" I ask her. "Will the other Fae know I am here?"

'They will come for you,' Nyx confirms.

"You are wrong," Raven shouts over my conversation with Nyx. "My sons are seen in the middle of the destruction."

"Because they are all that survives," I tell her. I hold out my hands for her to cuff me. "If you do, this war will come for you and your kind, and I don't know if I will have the mercy to save you."

"I am protecting my family," she says as the silver clasps down onto my wrists. "My sons will have you, and the world won't end. It will be a happily ever after."

"Mom," Winston darts to his feet, but Raven stops him with a single look.

I twist my hands comfortably in the silver. It does not burn my skin. "Funny, I would have used iron."

"A mistake I won't make twice," Raven growls.
