The Alpha Triplets and the Rogue

430 Skip Day

Ch. 430 / 580 Jan 28, 2026

Winston POV

The school day is boring. I would have skipped along with Macy, but I don't know where she went, and Edward is already in a foul mood. He didn't want to heal her scars. I had to beg him through the mind link to do so. I would have done it myself, but I am not as strong as Edward. I might be the larger twin, but his lycan powers are stronger than mine. It is why I don't defy him. I can't defeat him.

The final bell rings, and I make my way to the car. Edward is leaning against the hood, and that blonde from yesterday is standing between his legs. It makes me sick to see him with another woman that close to him, but I keep my mouth shut.

As I approach, the blonde turns to me and smiles brightly. She slips away from Edward and laces her arm into mine. I look down at her and growl, but she doesn't let go. "I didn't get to see you all day," she whines.

I don't respond. I make it a point not to speak to people that I don't like or trust, and she falls into both of the categories.

"I don't think my brother wants to play," Edward laughs, reaching out for her.

She takes his hand, and he pulls her close to him. She giggles as their chests collide, and he wraps an arm around her like he owns her.

"Anita was just asking if we like to share," Edward glances in my direction.

I roll my eyes at them and get into the car, slamming the door behind me. I watch through the windshield as he places a kiss on her lips and whispers something in her ear. She giggles and saunters away.

Edward cocks his head to the side and watches her ass as she leaves. 'She could be fun to play with, and she is willing,' he says through the mind link.

It wouldn't be the first time we have shared a girl, and I am certain that it won't be the last, but I am not interested in some blonde floozy. I put up a mental block to keep Edward from talking to me anymore.

Finally, he gets into the car and slams his hands against the steering wheel. "I don't get it. You talked to Crazy Macy all night, but you won't say two words to me. I am your fucking brother."

"Don't call her that," I finally snap at him.

"Now you are defending her," he shouts. "After she shoved her tongue down that asshole's throat."

"She didn't kiss him," I growl. "She pushed him away and slapped him."

"Whatever," Edward rolls his eyes. "Where the fuck was she all day?"

"I don't know, she wouldn't say," I reply.

"How about we go find her," he smirks.

"What did you do?" I ask.

Edward grins at me, "I linked our phones. We can track her location."

Of course, he invaded her privacy like that. "When?"

"When she was crying about being called Crazy Macy," he laughs.

He pulls his phone out of his pocket and opens the location app. A picture of Macy shows up on the map. She is on the edge of South Pack territory at the bar. Much to my surprise, Edward growls. He guns the engine and races out of the school parking lot.

We are several miles down the road before I get the courage to speak. "Why are you so angry?"

"Because I know she is with that little fucker," he growls.

"I thought you didn't care about her," I try not to laugh.

He glances over at me, and his lycan flashes in his eyes. "He can't have her."

His mood swings are giving me whiplash, but if he is taking me to see Macy, that is all I care about. I just hope that guy isn't with her for his sake. I won't be able to stop Edward from killing him this time.

My heart is thumping in my chest as we pull up to the bar. There is a line out of the door and around the corner of the bar. The scent of rogues is thick in the air, and I am immediately on guard. Edward looks annoyed and immediately exits the car.

We push past the line, gaining dirty looks from those who are waiting to get in. I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but a soup kitchen was not even on my radar.

I scan the bar, looking for the guy who runs it, but the scent of chocolate hits my nose first. Behind the bar, I see Macy, and she is breathtaking. Her face is clean of makeup, and I notice a spray of freckles across her nose. Her curly hair is pulled up into a messy bun, and the most shocking thing is the brilliant smile on her face.

She greets each rogue and human with a genuine smile. She makes small talk with each one of them, making sure they feel special and important. The sound of her laughter is like a song floating in the air. I am a goner. I am in love with her.

"Fuck," Edward mutters beside me. "She is a good person."

"It would appear so," I reply, unable to wipe the smile off my face.

Suddenly, her eyes dart away from the rogue in front of her, and she spots us at the entrance. The smile on her lips fades, and she looks like she could cry. Leaning over, she whispers something to the woman beside her. The woman looks up at us and nods to Macy.

Macy looks uncomfortable as she walks toward us. "What are you doing here?"

"We should be asking you the same thing," Edward snaps at her.

She grinds her teeth together and looks around. It is obvious she doesn't want to have a conversation with us out in the open. "Follow me."

She leads us through the bar and up the stairs in the back that lead to her apartment. She unlocks the door and gestures for us to go inside. Edward walks inside and sits on the couch, but I stand near the door, blocking her exit.

Macy turns to us both and takes a deep breath. "Not that I owe you and explanation, but Mom lets me skip school and work at the soup kitchen when the bullies at school become too much. That is why I am here today."

Edward laughs out loud. "You can't think of anything better to do with your time off than work in a soup kitchen with a bunch of losers."

"No," she snaps at him. "Because those people down there don't care that I am Crazy Macy. They like me and treat me like a person. They are not lesser than because they are rogues or homeless."

"So, that tough girl attitude is all just an act," Edward smirks.

"You can think whatever you want," she says through gritted teeth. "But I would like to get back downstairs, it is a busy day."

"We will wait for you here," Edward tells her. "Don't think about running off."

She balls her fists up at her side and growls. When I don't immediately move out of her way, she stomps her foot on the ground and looks absolutely precious. I can't stop from smiling when I finally let her through the door.

When it closes behind her, I turn to Edward. "You are in love with her," he groans.

"You aren't?" I counter, but he doesn't answer me.
