My Mate Has Two Wolves

Chapter 396

Ch. 396 / 530 May 01, 2026

Third Person's POV

A hint of embarrassment flickered across Sunny's face. Although she had courage and fighting skills, these didn't seem like things worth boasting about in front of the man she liked.

What if Leo didn't like such a strong woman? Would he be put off by her?

"Rest assured, I only fight bad guys. I would never raise a fist to you," Sunny said with a forced laugh.

Leo, however, chuckled softly. "If one day I really become too much of a jerk, you'd have every right to teach me a lesson. I wouldn't have a word to say."

Sunny just shook her head and remained silent. Of course, she could never bring herself to hit the man she liked.

"From this video, we can see the faces of those men. Don't worry, I will definitely catch these two jerks and get revenge for you," Leo said in a low voice, his tone firm.

"I just want to know why they were after me. Did I really offend someone at some point?" Sunny felt a vague sense of unease.

She carefully reviewed her twenty-one years of life and couldn't recall having any deep-seated grudges with anyone.

Even her past conflicts with a few female classmates had only involved some verbal arguments and name-calling—nothing that would lead to a kidnapping attempt.

"Could it be that someone in your family has offended someone, and they're using you as a hostage?" Leo analyzed the situation for her.

Sunny's eyes widened slightly. "My family? My mom? I'll call her and see if she's offended anyone lately."

"Good idea. Let's go to the police station now and hand over this video. Let the police help us find these culprits. Once we catch them, we'll get our answers," Leo said urgently, wanting the two men to face legal punishment.

He took Sunny directly to the police station.

After giving their statements at the police station, the two left. The police promised to catch the culprits and find out the reasons as soon as possible.

In the suburbs, there was an abandoned factory.

Inside the factory, several loud "slap-slap" sounds echoed, like someone was slapping another person forcefully. The noise reverberated throughout the empty factory.

"You bunch of good-for-nothings! You can't even handle a woman, and you still have the nerve to live? You might as well find a pillar to bash your heads against. You're such a disgrace to us! I spent tens of millions on you, and this is what I get—two useless guys," a man roared in anger, clearly furious.

Two men stood there with their faces swollen red, clearly the ones who had just been slapped.

Their faces were pale, and their eyes were filled with panic as they kept apologizing, blaming themselves for their incompetence.

"Boss, we had no idea that woman could fight so well. You didn't warn us beforehand. If you had told us she knew taekwondo, we would have been prepared and wouldn't have failed," one of the men said.

"Yeah, boss, it's not entirely our fault..." the other man chimed in.

"Worthless! Look at yourselves. You're big and strong. Even if she could fight, it's still your fault for not being able to subdue her. Hmph, take this money and get out of here. Disappear quickly and don't let the police find you. If they do, deal with it yourselves. Don't force me to finish you off," the man said viciously before turning and leaving in his car.

The two men looked at each other, seeing the same fear in each other's eyes.

The words "finish you off" were enough to make them collapse in terror.

Although they were involved in serious crimes like murder and arson, they had families—wives, children, and elderly relatives. Naturally, they didn't dare to cross their boss.

Even if they were caught by the police, they wouldn't dare to say a word, because doing so would put their families in danger.

The two men took the money, secretly called their families, and began to think about how to evade the police.

News of Sunny's bravery in fighting off the assailants quickly spread across the internet. Many netizens left comments, praising her fighting skills and courage.

Many girls expressed their desire to learn from her so they could protect themselves in dangerous situations. In this way, Sunny inadvertently won the admiration of many people.

Mirabel squinted her eyes and stared at the video for a long time.

When she saw Sunny's punches landing on the men and her sharp kicks, she actually broke out in a cold sweat.

"I didn't expect her to really have a martial arts background. No wonder the director praised her highly on the set last time. Hmph, so what if she knows kung fu? She has no femininity at all. I really don't know what the boss sees in her," Mirabel cursed viciously, biting her lip.

Her assistant, who had previously thought of some underhanded schemes to help Mirabel get back at Sunny, now felt that those plans might not work after seeing how skilled Sunny was.

"Mirabelle, we talked about finding someone to teach her a lesson. But it seems like that plan won't work now," the assistant said, still a bit scared. What if Sunny found out it was her idea and came after her? That would be terrible.

"Fear not, didn't you see she still got hurt? She's not a god. She can't really fight ten people by herself!" Mirabel said through gritted teeth, still furious.
