Chapter 59: I forgave him

Ch. 59 / 164 Sep 17, 2024

"If she's quiet, it means she's hesitating, deciding whether to divorce you. If you sincerely acknowledge your mistake, she will let it go."

"Really?"

Key nodded. "You always see me as your brother, I will always support and share everything with you as your brother."

David feels very happy to receive genuine and caring words from Key. "Don't talk about my life, spend some time with you. Now tell me, when are you getting married?"

Key smiled and scratched his head. "Mr. David, stop asking me such questions."

David saw that Key was shy with his question, so he decided to tease Key a bit. "Key, you suddenly become shy, this means you're in love with someone, right?"

"No. It's not what you're thinking, I don't love anyone." Key felt his ears heat up.

"I can guess you're lying, let me guess," David spoke and started thinking, but after a few seconds, he gave up on guessing and asked Key directly with pleading eyes. "I can't guess who that lucky girl is, tell me quickly."

Key sighed. He knows he can't lie. "She... she is your sister."

David was shocked to hear the answer from his assistant. "Rika? When? When?" he asked seriously.

"I do not know. Probably when I first met her." Key thought about the moment he met Rika, and he smiled.

"Do you really like my sister? And you're serious?" David asked, his face cold.

Key panicked when he saw David's sharp gaze. He swallowed. "I am very serious."

"OK." David patted him on the shoulder. "I trust you this time. If you make Rika suffer, I will kill you."

"Do not worry. I will cherish and love her for the rest of my life." Key said in a firm voice. "And now, let me take you home."

Key led David to the parking lot. He stopped the car in front of the villa Anthony and pulled out his phone, calling Ella. After a while, Ella came out of the house.

"Why is he so drunk?" Ella looked at Key and asked.

"I don't know either. He says he did something wrong to you and asks you to forgive him." Key said, pulling David's hand out of the car.

She put her arm around David's waist, guiding him into the house. Enter the bedroom, she said. "You take a shower, I'll make you some tea to cool off." She turned and went into the kitchen.

David staggered, staggered into the bathroom.

Ella made tea in the kitchen. These days, she doesn't know how to face him. She also wants to forget everything that happened in the secret house. But, every time she thought about it, she felt pain in her heart. And when she saw his drunken state, she was even sadder. She desperately wanted to tell him that she had forgiven him. But, something stopped her.

Finally, Ella finished making the tea. She brought tea into the bedroom and called David, but she didn't hear him answer. She waited a few more minutes, but he still didn't come out.

Suddenly, a bad idea popped into her head. 'Did he hurt himself in there?'

Thinking of this, Ella panicked. She rushed to the bathroom. As soon as she opened the door, she breathed a sigh of relief when she saw David sleeping soundly, his head leaning against the tub.

She helped David out of the bathroom and laid him down on the bed. Sweat beaded on his forehead. She went to get a towel and started wiping him all over.

"David," Ella said while wiping his hands. "I have already forgiven you. Please, don't make yourself miserable, okay? I think our married life is still great."

"I am so happy about that." David suddenly mumbled which startled Ella.

"You still haven't slept?" She stared at him and asked.

David still closed his eyes, he rolled over and continued to sleep. Maybe he's dreaming.

Ella cleaned up a bit and then turned off the lights. She climbed into bed and lay down beside him, falling asleep.

In the dark room, David opened his eyes and looked at the woman beside him. There was a smile on his lips.

After work, David did not drive Ella to Villa Anthony or the secret house. He let the car swing in the other direction. Ella asked surprised. "Where do you want to go?"

"Dating. Since we got married, we haven't had a meaningful date." David smiled and said.

She also never knew what dating was. Although they are husband and wife, they always skip the stages. Usually, people will meet, learn, express, ask, date, give gifts, introduce, get married, and have children. As for her and David: coercion, living together, trouble happening, almost divorce, and dating again.

Ella feels marriage is like a joke.

Seeing her wandering in thought, David immediately reached out and grabbed her hand, stroking it. "What are you thinking about?"

"About you and me." After saying that, Ella was startled and couldn't cover her mouth in time. She explained. "I mean I was thinking why would you want to date? Have you been on a date before?"

David smirked. "Not yet. But I will try with you."

"Why?" Ella rolled her eyes and asked.

"Because I want you to be happy." David narrowed his eyes.

Ella said. "But I have never dated either. I don't know if it's fun or not."

"Try it and you'll know." David continued.

Ella asked again. "But where is dating? Eat dinner, go for a walk, or watch a movie?"

David laughed and said. "The rice cooked by you is the best, watching movies at home is the best. And walking down the street, if for reporters to see, that's going to cause trouble."

Having said this, he stopped his car in front of the sports club.

Looking at the precious wooden door, meticulously carved, you know that this is a place for the elite. There was a squiggly character on the gate that she couldn't read. David put his arm around her waist and stepped inside the club.

They went to the central building. This place is as large as a stadium, each corner is a group of people gathering together to practice physical activities such as boxing, Wushu, Taekwondo, and Karate...

There are many traditional martial arts here from many countries that she doesn't know all about. Each group practices a type of martial art and is carefully guided by a teacher. Looking at them as professional and in high spirits because of holidays or holidays, they also come here to practice.
