Arriving home, Mrs. Emma wants Ella to go up to her room to rest, but she wants to prepare dinner for their family. Today, she is in a very good mood. David's health has recovered, and she is accepted by her mother-in-law as a daughter-in-law who treats her well. Whenever she's in a good mood, she cooks.
Mrs. Emma doesn't force Ella, she lets Ella do what she wants.
Ella put on an apron, preparing for their dinner. It was 5 p.m., and Ella made the last dish, the dessert. She decided to make a passion fruit cake, which would have a layer of cheese underneath the passion fruit layer. During the baking time, Ella cleared the dishes and arranged the dishes on the table.
When everything was ready, Ella was satisfied with what she prepared. She asked Sophie to notify family members. And they went into the dining room one by one. They ate and chatted a lot.
Ella picked up the food and put it in David's cup. "You just got out of the hospital, eat a lot. It's all your favorite foods."
"Thank you, dear wife." David smiled sweetly.
Rika looked at them, smiling. "Your love is so deep and passionate. I'm jealous."
"If you want to be like us then find a boyfriend. I heard that my assistant likes you, right?" David said while he was chewing his food.
Mr. Harry said. "Key is a good man, if you know him, I won't object. Don't judge his appearance and work, the important thing is the feeling in the heart."
Rika's face was red from embarrassment. "I don't judge his looks or his work, it's just me... I'm still young, I don't want to get married anytime soon."
Mrs. Emma looked at the couple and asked. "When are you two going to get married?"
Ella replied. "David said he needs to work things out at the company, then we'll get married."
David asked his wife. "How would you like to celebrate your wedding?"
Ella thought for a moment. "I want an outdoor wedding with a natural style."
"I will make your dreams come true." David smiled.
"How will your honeymoon go?" Rika is curious.
"What are you asking for? If you want, find a boyfriend and get married." David said.
Rika sulks because her brother keeps his wedding to Ella a secret.
"Ella, please bring your father here to live with us. By the way, you can take care of him." Mrs. Emma suggested.
"Yes, Mom." Ella smiled happily. She hasn't laughed this much since her mother died.
Today, Key will confess to Rika. He braced himself before entering the restaurant, where he hosted a romantic candlelit evening for her. Waiting for a long time but still not seeing her come, Key began to worry, he felt like he was sitting on fire, and his eyes kept looking out the door looking for a familiar figure. But, he waited for a long time and still didn't see Rika, his whole body seemed to be lifeless. After a few minutes, the door to the room opened, and the figure of a girl wearing a blue dress and glittering high heels ran in, that girl was Rika.
Rika gasped and hurriedly said. "Sorry, I got stuck in traffic so I'm late."
Key looked at the girl in front of him, showing a pitiful expression. "You hurt me."
Rika quite shocked looked at the man in front of her. Rika also purposely looked around to see if she recognized the wrong person, but still couldn't see anyone other than the person standing in front of her.
Rika didn't say anything, putting her hand on Key's face, the feeling was familiar, she just accepted this as the truth.
Key thought she would hug him since she was late but her actions made him shut up.
Rika said. "Key, are you sick? I just saw your frail appearance today, you surprised me."
Key was speechless, he was so angry that his face was red, but he didn't dare to scold her, because she was his boss's sister. Key began to breathe evenly to regulate his emotions. "Sorry, I was wrong. I shouldn't have done that to you. I just wanted to play with you a bit, but I didn't expect you to react so strongly. Okay, you sit down, let's have dinner together."
Rika just sat there giving Key a complicated look, in her heart she confirmed that he still had something to hide from her.
After eating, Key silently sat on the chair, his face down, causing Rika to feel confused again. When she was about to speak, he raised his head and spoke loudly. "You agree to be my girlfriend, okay?"
Hearing Key's words, Rika was surprised, her gaze averted. She seemed to evade his question. Although Rika has feelings for him, she is not ready for a relationship closer than this friendship.
Seeing that Rika had been silent for a long time, Key thought that she rejected his confession. Key stood up from his chair, speaking in a sad tone. "Pretend I haven't spoken and you haven't heard."
This is Key's first time confessing his love, he has a lot of courage to ask Rika out. He knows that he is just a small assistant, how can he match the general manager's sister? He was also mentally prepared for rejection. So he's not too grieving.
As Key passed Rika's body, she suddenly grabbed his hand. "I'm not saying I don't like you."
Key's eyes widened. Rika's unexpected answer left him speechless.
"It's just... I'm not ready. You know, I'm still in school, I don't want to fall in love anytime soon."
"I'm not forcing you. We just date, hang out, or go to the movies together. When you finish college or when you're ready, we'll talk about marriage, okay? are not?"
Rika thought for a moment and then nodded. "Okay. I agree."
"Really?" Key asked in a happy voice.
"Yes."
"So, let's go out this weekend, okay?"
Rika happily nodded. Key feels happy because she accepted to date him.
At the weekend, Key drove his sports car to Villa Anthony to pick up Rika. Because they promised to go out to the amusement park today.
He waited a while. And Rika came out from inside the house. She wears an active and comfortable outfit. She tied her hair in a ponytail. Sunlight gently caressed her cute face. Key's heart beat erratically. He was mesmerized by this image. He thought that if that girl wasn't Rika, would his heart be pounding?
