Mated To The Alpha Quadruplets

Chapter 53

Ch. 53 / 76 Mar 09, 2026

Alpha Morgan's POV

I sat on the cold, damp cell floor, feeling rather sorry since I had been thrown inside here like a criminal. The King was out of his mind. What was he planning to do with me? I had no idea, but the fact that I was chained and forced to eat bread and drink water made me feel sick; I thought about my boys and how they might be feeling right now. I was an alpha, their father, and a role model for my entire pack. How could that be taken away from me so quickly?

My poor Luna would be beside herself with worry, no doubt. I could not believe this was happening to me. If my sons had kept their stupid mouths shut and accepted Daniella as their mate, then none of this would have happened, but Rylan just had to keep pushing.

I thought back to when we first found Eliza in the woods and took her home. She was a tiny, helpless newborn. My Luna and I had decided not to declare it at first and thought nothing more of it; she was taken care of within our pack, and that was that. Why did she have to turn out to be the missing princess? I had never even suspected such a thing. How someone could dump a baby was beyond me, but I just hoped and prayed that the King would soon see sense and set me free. I needed to ensure my family were OK. What if someone tried to attack the pack, knowing I wasn't there to protect it?

Suddenly, I heard footsteps and held my breath as they approached the outside of my cell door. I heard muffled voices and someone crying. I recognized that cry instantly, my Luna. The door was unlocked and flung open; there stood the King with my Luna beside him; she had her hands tied together, and her mouth gagged.

"Tell your precious little rising hole of an alpha the truth about yourself." The thing threw her inside the cell, and she looked at me with sadness in her eyes,

"What is this?" I demanded to know, but the King smirked and gestured his guard to remove the gag from my luna's mouth. "Go ahead and tell him. Tell him the truth. I want to watch his face when he realizes his world is fake. How it feels to know the truth about your child." I felt confusion overwhelm me.

"What is he talking about, Lara? " I hissed at my mate, and she refused to meet my gaze. I glared at the King, my eyes blazing with anger and betrayal. "What do you mean, 'the truth about your child'?" I demanded, my voice low and menacing.

My Luna's eyes met mine, and I saw a glimmer of sorrow and guilt. She took a deep breath before speaking, her voice barely above a whisper. "Morgan, I...I don't know how to say this..."

I felt a cold dread creeping up my spine as I sensed something wrong. "What is it, Luna? What have you done?"

"Tell him!" The King roared, and she shuddered at his tone.

Luna's eyes dropped, and she took another deep breath before continuing. "Grayson...he's not your son."

My heart skipped a beat as I felt like I'd been punched in the gut. "What? What are you talking about?"

Luna's voice trembled as she spoke. "I...I had an affair with Theron. He's Grayson's father."

I felt like I'd been hit by a freight train. Theron, my arch-nemesis, the one person I wouldn't say I liked more than anyone in the world. How could Luna do this to me? How could she betray me so profoundly?

My mind reeled as I tried to process this information. I felt like I was living in a nightmare, and I couldn't wake up.

"What about our pack?" I demanded, my voice cracking with rage. "What about our sons? How could you do this to me?"

Luna's eyes filled with tears as she spoke. "I'm so sorry, Morgan. I was young and stupid. I didn't know what I was getting myself into. But Theron promised me that the truth would be safe with him, that he would protect him...and for a while, it seemed like he would."

I felt like my world was crumbling around me. All these years, all these moments of happiness and pride as a father...it was all a lie. My sons, my precious sons...they weren't even all mine.

The King's smirk grew wider as he watched me crumple under the weight of this betrayal. "Ah, yes," he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "Now you see why you're in this cell, Morgan. You're not the father of that precious little pup, after all."

I felt like I was going to vomit as the truth hit me like a ton of bricks. My life was ruined. My pack was destroyed. And it was all because of Luna's infidelity.

"And the quadruplets? Are they mine?" I snarled.

"Yes, my alpha. The quadruplets are yours!" Lara's tears fell silently as she nodded, her eyes cast down at the ground. I felt a cold dread creeping up my spine as I realized the truth.

I was numb, unable to process the magnitude of Luna's actions. She had betrayed me, our sons, our pack, and everything we had built together. I felt like I was losing my grip on reality, like drowning in a sea of deceit and betrayal.

How could she do this to me? How could she do this to our family? I felt like I was staring into the face of a stranger who had once been my mate, partner, and best friend.

The King's voice broke through my thoughts, his words dripping with malice. "Ah, yes, Morgan. It seems you're not the father, the true father of Grayson, after all."

I felt like I was going to lose my mind. My pack, my family, everything I had worked for was a lie. The King's laughter echoed through the cell, mocking and taunting me. "What are you going to do about it, Morgan? Are you going to sit by and let her get away with it? What about Theron? He is just as much to blame." The King continued to wind me up, and I knew he enjoyed every second.

I looked at Lara again, my eyes burning with anger and pain. "How could you do this to me?"
