Eliza’s POV
Being back here at Creek was weird as hell for me; all of the memories of growing up and the bullying I received daily came rushing back to me like a boomerang.
Standing before Daniella, the prominent ring leader, I didn’t feel scared or weak. She looked pathetic, staring at me with her fake apologetic look.
“I want a proper apology from you, and I want you to mean everything to me, word of it. Get on your knees and beg me for forgiveness.” I ordered her, and my brother threw me a surprised glare.
I ignored him, and this was between me and Daniella. How dare she think that she could get away with all the hurt and pain that she had caused me? I had already rejected the alpha quadruplets as my mate, but that didn’t mean everyone else was about to get off without any punishment. My brother didn’t even know half of what I had gone through.
“Princess Eliza!” Daniella stuttered nervously as she knelt and clasped her hands together. I could see her bottom lip trembling, which made me feel good to see her crumble.
“You’re nothing, Daniella. Nothing. You made me feel that way for years while I believed you. I believed that I was not worthy of love or any friends. I let you destroy me when all along I was something special. I am special, and I am worth being loved.” I couldn’t stop myself. Jasmine was stirring, and I could feel her wanting to take over the situation as Daniella got to her feet and pointed a finger at me angrily. Her face was as red as a tomato, and she leapt towards me, ripping off her dress as she started to shift into her wolf.
“Don’t you dare!” Bernard growled as he stepped in front of me to protect me. She was already standing in her Wolf form, glaring at me and showing her canines. I wasn't about to let this go.
“She needs to learn to respect the princess!” Jasmine yelled inside my head, and I felt a strange tugging as I was thrown back, and my body started to shift as Jasmine took over.
The next thing I stood in my beautiful white wolf form. Jasmine was ready! She was strong and not about to let a weasel-like Daniella challenge us.
“Oh my goddess! The white wolf. Eliza, she’s beautiful!” I heard gasps from around the crowd that had begun to gather around us.
Yes, that's right. They finally got to see me in the White Wolf form that they had only heard about. I was glad they would know never to mess with me again.
“Eliza, there’s no need for this. Shift back immediately.” My brother ordered, and I growled in response. My eyes were on Daniella as she glared back at me.
Rylan and Rio attempted to pull Daniella back, but she refused to back down.
“Get back into your human form, and do not dare to attack the princess,” Rylan ordered a warning to Daniella, and she immediately submitted to his request as the new alpha. She didn't have much choice but to do as she was told.
“So, Is this how you treat your guests, especially the royal princess?” Alex snarled as he hurriedly placed a blanket around my body. He was disgusted by her behaviour, and the looks of her face mortified her.
Enzo quickly threw some clothes at Daniella as she hurriedly covered herself over.
“I.. oh, I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me,” Daniella exclaimed as if shocked at her behaviour. I clicked my tongue and scowled in disgust at her. She knew exactly what she was doing, and there was no way she would get away with it.
I reached out a hand and slapped her so hard across the cheek that she landed in a heap on the ground.
“Princess Eliza, please accept our sincerest apologies for our daughter's behaviour.” Her parents bowed to me, and I nodded in response. They were starting to see that I wasn’t one to be messed with. I liked that they saw their daughter was wrong, and she would be sorry for her actions.
“Eliza? Are you alright?” My brother whispered to me, and I nodded my head again. “I am perfectly fine. That bitch just needed to learn a lesson. She made my life hell for so long, and it’s time she paid for it.” I said.
“We can leave if you would like to?” my brother suggested, but I wasn't about to do that.
“No, I'm not ready to leave just yet,” I replied firmly.
I could feel the weight of the crowd's gaze on me. I knew that what I had done was not exactly noble, but I couldn't help it. The memories of being bullied and belittled by Daniella and her gang came flooding back, and my instincts took over.
I looked down at Daniella, still seething with anger and hurt. “You're lucky I didn't rip you apart," I bellowed. "But I'm giving you a second chance. Don't waste it."
Daniella wiped her tear-stained face and nodded profusely. “Yes, Princess Eliza. Thank you! I promise to make amends, and I am sincerely sorry for all my hurt and pain inflicted on you. I should never have done that, and you deserve to be loved.” she rattled on, but I wasn't listening because her voice was already getting on my nerves. Goddess knows how I managed to put up with it throughout my time here at Creek as an omega.
I turned to her parents. "I want you to make sure she learns her lesson. No more bullying, no more harassment. She's to apologise sincerely to every person she's hurt, and she's to make amends."
“Yes! Of course, Princess.” they both bowed in unison, and Bernard warningly growled as they stepped closer towards me.
“Back away,” he ordered, and they obeyed immediately, looking quite shocked as if they didn't understand why.
I turned back to Daniella, my eyes burning with intensity. "And if she can't do that, then maybe it's best if she leaves your pack altogether."
The crowd murmured in agreement, and I could sense their respect for me growing. I was the princess, and I would not be pushed around.
“I will do what you want. Princess Eliza, but don't banish me from Creek. This is my home.” she pleaded, and I could not help but smirk at how pathetic she looked.
“Get her out of my sight.” I clenched my jaw and glared at her as my brother touched my shoulder. I knew that he was trying to get me to calm down, but he had no idea the anger and hurt that I felt from this female.
“Let's go, Daniella,” Rio said as he and Rylan pulled Daniella away, and she didn't even attempt to fight them off of her; she just went along with them.
“Princess Eliza, would you both like to come inside and talk things through privately?” Ed wanted to know.
“I think I've had enough of this hell hole for one day; take me to Alpha Theron before we return to the kingdom.” I turned to Bernard, and he immediately went to open the car door for me.
“Eliza, are you sure about this?” my brother looked slightly uncertain.
“I'm more than sure.”
