The little girl wore a pink princess dress, had fair skin, delicate and cute features. The only drawback was her small stature, but it didn't diminish her beauty in the slightest.
The action of closing the door as soon as she appeared was somewhat impolite.
Uncle Tom furrowed his brows, but when he saw the little girl's appearance clearly, his brows relaxed again.
Such a beautiful little girl, no wonder their young master took the initiative to visit.
Uncle Tom was thinking this when he saw the little girl's bright eyes fixed on their master, seeming very interested in him.
It seemed that their master wasn't just liked by women; even little girls liked him.
A hint of pride flashed across Uncle Tom's square face. He heard the little girl's childish voice, "Uncle, who are you looking for? My mommy isn't home. If you need anything, you can tell me."
Dominic's cool gaze fell on the little girl, and he spoke, "Are you Elle?"
Eleanor blinked her blue eyes.
This name must have been told to Dad by Brother Chris.
Eleanor nodded, her voice cute and soft. "Uncle, I'm Elle."
The little girl was very cute, soft and adorable, making it difficult for people to dislike her. Dominic indeed had a favorable impression of the little girl in front of him. However, his gaze still turned cold.
With just one glance, he recognized the little girl in front of him. She was the little girl who called Alessia 'mommy' at the airport.
And she was called Elle, confirming that she was indeed one of the friends mentioned by his son.
The one called Christian should be the other of the twins.
He had underestimated Alessia. She had actually moved in under his nose. If he hadn't seen Chris running over today, he didn't know how long it would have been kept from him.
A storm brewed in Dominic's eyes. Even though he was angry, he couldn't vent it on a little girl.
He glanced coldly at the closed door.
Dominic's voice was always low and chilly. However, for some reason, his tone softened slightly at this moment.
"I have something to discuss with your mommy. Since she's not home, I can go inside and wait."
Inside the house.
Alessia heard the doorbell and went downstairs. She asked towards the kitchen, "Mrs. Cate, who is it?"
Mrs. Cate stuck her head out and replied, "Miss Elle said it's the property uncle. Miss Elle has already gone out to handle it."
The little one was always clever. Although the neighborhood was very safe, her behavior of closing the door when going out was still somewhat inappropriate.
Alessia's gaze softened. By the time she spoke, she had already reached the door and happened to see Dominic talking to her daughter on the screen.
Alessia's eyes turned cold.
When did Dominic become a property worker?
"He came knocking, he must know Chris and Elle existence"
Alessia pursed her lips tightly, feeling as if facing a formidable enemy. She instructed Mrs. Cate in the kitchen, "Mrs. Cate, put down what you're doing and go upstairs to keep an eye on Chris. Under no circumstances should you let him come downstairs."
After saying that, Alessia opened the door. After stepping out, she casually closed it behind her.
As soon as Alessia appeared, the gazes of Dominic, Eleanor, and Uncle Tom all turned towards her.
Dominic's gaze darkened slightly.
Alessia didn't speak. She quickly reached out and pulled Eleanor behind her protectively before coldly questioning Dominic, "What do you want?"
After doing all this, Alessia furrowed her brows.
Too much concern led to chaos; she had jumped to conclusions!
Dominic, being domineering by nature, wouldn't easily let her take Eleanor away if he came because he knew about Elle and Chris's existence.
Dominic's face was grim as he watched Alessia's defensive actions. No one could tell what he was thinking, but his aura was particularly intimidating.
Uncle Tom frowned. There was a hint of dissatisfaction on his square face. The little girl's mother was quite beautiful, but her judgment of people wasn't as good as her daughter's.
She showed a wary expression as soon as she appeared. How could their master be seen as a bad person?
Uncle Tom took a step forward with insight and smiled, "Ma'am, please don't misunderstand. Our master lives in the building opposite yours. We're neighbors, and this visit is just to say hello."
Listening to Uncle Tom's words, Alessia subconsciously glanced at the building opposite theirs and then at Dominic.
Dominic never lied.
Forest Hill had complete security, and the people living here were either wealthy or influential. It was quite normal for Dominic to live here when he wasn't at the old mansion.
So, it was indeed a misunderstanding!
What a coincidence!
It seemed that she couldn't stay in Forest Hill anymore. Right now, the most important thing was to send him away before Dominic discovered Chris.
The wary expression faded from Alessia's cold face, and she spoke in a calm tone.
"Mr. Carter, it's a misunderstanding. I didn't know you also lived here. Give me three days to move out, and I won't disturb your life in any way," Alessia stated firmly.
She had already decided to leave with Chris and Elle tonight.
Mentioning three days was to verify whether Dominic's son was indeed her son.
She was considering how to enter the Carter family, and now the opportunity presented itself. It wouldn't make sense not to take advantage of it.
"One day!" Dominic's face darkened, his tone uncompromising.
What a slick talker. No matter what you say to her, she can spin it back around. Now that he caught her, she was ready to move out.
Since she was moving out anyway, he naturally wouldn't say anything else. He had calculated quite well.
"One day is not enough," Alessia insisted. "Finding a new house and moving takes time, especially with children. Three days is the minimum I need."
"That's your problem," Dominic said ruthlessly, taking a step forward with his long legs and commanding coldly, "Open the door."
Alessia stepped back, blocking the doorway.
"Mr. Carter, trespassing is illegal. If you really don't want to see me, I promise to move out within a day," Alessia said, her heart pounding. She didn't expect the man to be so domineering. If she didn't agree, he would forcibly enter the house and drive her out.
Dominic had immense power in Toronto. If she caused trouble while taking Chris and Elle away, she would be the one to suffer.
One day was better than nothing. After leaving, she could sneak back while he wasn't paying attention.
Alessia made up her mind, but then she heard Dominic mockingly speak up.
"Miss La Rosa seems to have misunderstood. I have no interest in trespassing. If Miss La Rosa finds it inconvenient, then hand over my son."
