Genius Triplets: Ex Wife Hidden Identity

Chapter 69

Ch. 69 / 181 Dec 17, 2025

Dominic looked at David and instructed, "Give me the keys. You follow with the others."

"Yes," David replied.

Dominic took the car keys and drove behind Alessia.

As the car kept moving forward, Alessia drove while talking on the phone with M.

Before long, M's voice came through the phone line.

"Boss, although the west suburban steel mill has been abandoned for a long time, there were indeed some cameras left when it was relocated. I'll switch over the feed right away."

"Okay," Alessia responded briefly, her eyes fixed on the phone. Soon enough, the feed came through.

Inside the warehouse-like corrugated iron building, seven or eight social youths dressed in a shabby manner were sitting around playing cards. On the ground were iron rods and large fruit knives.

In another feed, outside a corrugated iron building, a man sat on a chair with his legs crossed, playing with his phone.

Unfortunately, there were no cameras inside the corrugated iron building, but with someone watching outside, it was safe to assume that Christopher and Riley were probably trapped inside.

In another feed, in front of the abandoned steel mill gate, two men were sitting on the ground keeping watch.

After observing the entire situation of the steel mill through her phone, Alessia felt relieved.

From their behavior and the weapons they held, it was easy to tell that they were just ordinary thugs and not the disappeared Z.

From several encounters with Z, it could be inferred that Z's identity was definitely not simple. If it was indeed Z involved, he wouldn't hire ordinary thugs.

Inside the abandoned steel mill, Christopher and Riley were each tied up with their hands behind their backs, their legs discarded in a corner.

Apart from being dirty, Christopher was not injured.

But Riley, on the other hand, didn't look too good.

Riley's handsome face not only had injuries but also was covered in sweat, with the sweat dripping down from his forehead.

"Uncle!" Christopher called out worriedly.

"I am fine, dear. Don't be afraid," Riley forced himself to stay alert, weakly opening his eyes and comforting Christopher.

Unfortunately, the leg with the cast which had not yet had the plaster removed, had just suffered a second injury, and was now throbbing with pain.

"I am not afraid," Christopher pursed his lips and said bravely, but his emotions were clearly very downcast.

It was all his fault. If his uncle hadn't accompanied him to the mall earlier to buy things, they wouldn't have encountered these bad people.

If his uncle hadn't protected him, that injured leg wouldn't have been hurt by those bad people.

"Yeah, we'll wait for your mommy to come," Riley said, closing his eyes weakly.

"Uncle, don't sleep," Christopher hurriedly called out.

"I won't sleep, just resting a bit," Riley said with his mouth, but in the end, he couldn't help but close his eyes.

Seeing this, Christopher became anxious. His small body slowly moved across the ground, taking a long time to finally move to Riley's side. His delicate palms were scraped raw by the gravel on the ground.

But he didn't mind the pain and patiently repeated the movement until the rope was finally cut.

After taking a breath, Christopher untied the rope from his feet and quickly ran to Riley's side, shouting in his ear, "Uncle, wake up, uncle..."

But no matter how Christopher called out, the unconscious Riley showed no response at all.

Christopher knew that in this situation, he couldn't escape with his uncle. He could only escape first and then come back with help to rescue his uncle.

After untying the ropes from his hands and feet, Christopher's gaze fell on the broken iron window.

He moved an old chair to the window, pushed it open cautiously, and carefully moved his small body, closing his eyes, and jumped out of the window.

The men guarding outside the corrugated iron building never thought that a wounded person and a child could escape. Their lack of vigilance gave Christopher the opportunity.

Half an hour later, Alessia's car finally approached the gates of the steel plant.

From a distance, the two men on guard heard the sound and stood up, waving their arms to signal Alessia to stop the car.

A cold gleam flashed in Alessia's eyes. Instead of stopping, she stepped on the gas, accelerating the car towards the two men.

This reckless behavior immediately frightened the two men.

They were only in it for the money, and neither of them wanted to risk their lives over it.

So when the car came rushing towards them, almost instinctively, they scattered and cleared the way.

A look of ferocity flashed in Alessia's eyes as the car rushed into the factory. Only when there was no way out did she stop the car, push open the door, and casually pick up an iron rod from the abandoned steel materials.

The thugs inside the factory had already come out when they heard the sound of the car. At this moment, seeing Alessia's fierce and imposing appearance, they all felt a chill in their hearts.

The leading man paused for a moment, then spat on the ground contemptuously and said, "Come on, Men,, don't be afraid. This woman is just putting on airs. Let's grab her and have a feast tomorrow."

  "Yes, Boss!"

"Yeah, what are we afraid of with so many of us?"

"But this woman sure knows how to act tough. Let's make her cry later."

As soon as the man finished speaking, the others echoed, and some even leered at Alessia.

Alessia's eyes grew colder and colder. She was too lazy to listen to their filthy words. Gripping the iron rod tightly, she struck it against the abandoned steel materials nearby.

At this moment, she was like a demon in the world, agilely slipping among the thugs.

Almost every strike hit the thugs accurately, most fatally in the abdomen.

Suddenly, cries of pain filled the air.

In just ten minutes, Alessia had dealt with all of them.

She carried the iron rod straight to the tin shed, kicked open the iron door, and looked inside, only to see Riley lying on the ground in discomfort with his eyes closed. Unfortunately, there was no sign of Christopher beside him.

In a panic, Alessia dropped the iron rod and went in to help Riley up.

Riley's body was scalding hot, and Alessia patted his face and pinched his acupoint. After some effort, Riley slowly regained consciousness.

Riley's eyes were still somewhat dazed. He struggled to swallow saliva before saying, "Sia, you're here."

"Yeah, I'm here. Where's Chris? Wasn't he with you?" Alessia asked anxiously.

"He was just next to me." Riley went to look for Christopher, but there was no one else in the entire room except for him and Alessia.

"I'm sorry, I just passed out." Riley finally realized what was going on, blaming himself, and tried to get up.

Alessia helped Riley up, her gaze sweeping around the room and finally settling on the severed rope and the chair in front of the window.

She already had a conclusion in her heart: Christopher had escaped on his own.

There were no houses near the steel plant, and she hadn't seen Christopher on her way here.

Where could the kid be now?

There were still fresh bloodstains on the iron piece on the window, indicating that the kid was injured.

Alessia's heart ached, her face even colder. She wouldn't let the people who kidnapped Christopher off easily.

If something happened to Christopher, she would make these people pay for it.

However, she also understood that the most important thing to do before that was to stay calm.

After taking a deep breath, Alessia helped Riley into the car. Just as she finished all this, another car drove into the steel plant.

The door opened, and Dominic got out of the car.

Dominic looked at the thugs rolling on the ground and hurried over to Alessia. "Are you okay?"

Alessia hadn't expected Dominic to follow her. After a quick thought, she understood that he probably overheard her phone call.

Although she could handle these things on her own, she was still grateful that Dominic came along.

"I'm fine. Please help me call the police," Alessia shook her head.

Without asking anything, Dominic took out his phone and dialed.

Meanwhile, Alessia walked straight towards the leader called Leon. Her slender fingers grabbed his collar and pulled him up rudely.

  "Speak, who ordered this?"

Leon held his stomach in discomfort, blood still flowing from the corner of his mouth. Seeing Alessia now was like seeing a female demon, and he trembled in fear.

However, despite Alessia's question, he still didn't want to answer and pursed his lips tightly.

It wasn't until Alessia raised her fist that he couldn't bear it and confessed.

"It's Young Master Ramirez. He said he just wanted to scare you, Miss La Rosa. We didn't dare to harm you, so please let me go. After all, we haven't caused you any harm now."

  No harm?

  Her son was missing.

Alessia's eyes turned cold, and instead of lowering her raised fist when Leon confessed, she punched him hard in the face.

In fact, she had long suspected that this matter was related to Nolan. After all, besides the people from Z, she had only offended the Ramirez family.

"Mr. Carter, please help me take my brother to the hospital," Alessia got up and looked at Dominic, who had already finished reporting the case.

"Where are you going?" Dominic asked.
