Vania's POV
Without hesitation, Derek picked up Grace and said in a grumpy tone, "Stop talking! Let's go home!"
"Wuwuwu, you're so strong, I really like it!" Grace coquettishly said, and Derek's face instantly turned as black as it could be, as if it could drip ink.
I saw the situation and also wanted to stand up.
Unfortunately, just after drinking alcohol, when sitting down, I didn't feel anything unusual. However, as soon as I stood up, I suddenly felt dizzy and everything started spinning.
I felt unsteady and fell straight into Theodore's arms.
"Do you now know that you can't stand steady?" Theodore's voice was deep and magnetic, calmly making people feel inexplicably reassured.
I barely supported Theodore to steady himself and whispered, "I just had a little too much to drink, but I'm fine."
Theodore walked up to me and slowly crouched down, speaking softly, "Come up."
I stared at Theodore's broad and sturdy back, and for a moment, I was stunned, with mixed feelings in my heart.
"It's not the first time, no need to be polite." His words immediately triggered my memories. The last time I was kidnapped by Jasper, I sprained my foot, and Theodore carried me out like this.
I no longer hesitated and politely climbed onto Theodore's back.
Theodore said as he carefully lifted me up, "It seems that in the future, I will have to limit your contact with Grace."
After hearing his words, my face slightly turned red. I couldn't tell if it was because I had drunk too much alcohol or because the ambiguous atmosphere of the nightclub was affecting me.
As I got into Derek's car, a strong smell of alcohol hit me, making me feel a bit uncomfortable.
"What do we do now? Where do we go? Should we take them back?" Derek gripped the steering wheel, unsure of how to set the navigation, muttering to himself.
Theodore said lightly, "Come to my house."
I lifted my head and glanced at Theodore, feeling somewhat surprised. I had never been to Theodore's house before.
"Okay, if we let them go home, their neighbors won't be able to sleep well all night," Derek said as he fastened his seatbelt and reached out to pat Grace's face in the passenger seat next to him, shouting, "Don't fall asleep! You'll catch a cold when you get off the car."
Grace had already fallen fast asleep, completely ignoring Derek's words and paying no attention to him.
Sitting in the back, I was being blown by the warm air in the car, feeling a bit drowsy, and my whole body became fuzzy.
Theodore seemed to notice my drowsiness and took out a blanket from behind, gently covering me with it. He tenderly said, "Sleep for a while, it will be here soon."
I obediently nodded my head and indeed felt extremely tired. Unconsciously, I leaned against the car window and fell into a deep sleep.
Cliff's POV
I closed the computer in the study, and the room became quiet and somewhat oppressive.
I rubbed my sore forehead, picked up my phone, and there was still no message from Vania on the screen.
In a short while, Beta Elliott called back.
I quickly answered the phone and asked eagerly, "Where is Vania?"
"Luna seemed to be at a nightclub."
"Nightclub?" I couldn't help but furrow my brow.
Vania rarely visited such places in the past, and the last time she went was when she met with Wilmore.
Last time, there was such a big commotion on the internet because of this matter, why would she dare to go to such a place?
"It should be, I didn't hear very clearly, but it was very noisy over there. Luna seemed like she had been drinking, and she... wasn't very willing to come back."
Hearing Beta Elliott say this, my anger instantly flared up.
"Let someone go and find her! A girl going to a nightclub in the middle of the night, has she gone crazy?"
"Alpha Cliff, please don't worry, I have already sent someone to look for it, there should be news soon."
In all the famous nightclubs and clubs in Los Angeles, we had a network of connections. In our circle, it was easy to find out who went where.
I said with suppressed anger, "Call me immediately after you find Vania."
"Yes, Alpha Cliff."
I hung up the phone and felt extremely frustrated.
There was a knock on the door outside the study, and Melinda opened it to find me holding a suit jacket from the rack. She paused for a moment and asked, "It's so late, where are you going?"
"I went out for a while, it was very late. You should rest early," I didn't plan on explaining too much.
Melinda held the coffee in her hand and said, "Is it to discuss work? I just brewed the coffee, so let's finish it before we go. Discussing work later will also be more energizing."
"I went to find Vania."
Melinda paused for a moment and said, "Looking for Luna Vania?"
"Um." I held the car keys in my hand and reassuredly said, "Put the coffee down and go to sleep, if you need anything, you can talk to Jenny."
"But I..." Melinda wanted to say something, but I quickly walked away.
I was driving, groping my way through the still brightly lit and bustling streets at night, when Beta Elliott called.
I answered the phone, and Beta Elliott hesitated on the other end, saying, "Alpha Cliff, the nightclub owner said that Luna and Miss Gilbert went together today, and later they were picked up by Derek and Theodore."
I gripped the steering wheel tightly and suddenly jerked it. After a while, I finally spoke, "Understood." After saying that, I hung up the phone.
Were Derek and Theodore taken away? I couldn't help but laugh coldly.
I should have known long ago that the relationship between Vania and Theodore was extraordinary.
No wonder Valeria, who used to chase after me, now wants to reject each other.
We used to have a close relationship with Theodore. That's great.
I turned the car around and quickly returned to the Packhouse of the Silver Moon wolf pack.
