Cinderella of Our Time

Chapter 45

Ch. 45 / 59 Aug 22, 2024

(Day 90/122 of the experiment)

Yesterday’s day, or rather two days, completely threw me off my working rhythm. And while I am working on my personal life and confidently building it, I fell off from Instagram. To rehabilitate myself a bit, I went live in the morning and shared the story of a bad date that turned into a move to the man of my dreams.

My page just exploded with lovely comments and applications for the next courses – the girls from the online training added numerous posts about how interesting my presentation was, how much they enjoyed our meeting, and that they want and dream of a full-fledged transformational course.

I called my social media assistant and we arranged a meeting. Fortunately, I planned my time well and managed to make it to bachata practice as well. By the way, for the next session, we decided to go together with Tristan.

The brainstorming session with my assistant regarding the full course lasted three hours. But we did manage to settle on the main idea and many organizational details. Now I will dedicate a few hours each day to writing the course program. I want it to be a real breakthrough and truly help women change their lives!

The day ended with a delicious homemade dinner and watching a movie together – me, my constant companion Richard, and the man of my dreams, Tristan.

(Day 91/122 of the experiment)

I want to tell you that living in the center is cool. When you go for a morning walk along a completely different route instead of the usual one – around the village or through the center of Pidhaichy. Here, there’s a whole hundred roads in front of you – you can go to the tourist center, stroll through the residential areas to see how people wake up and reluctantly head to work, through a park where dog owners walk their four-legged friends. And even the music sounds different when you simply change your route. Familiar songs seem fresher and brighter.

And although so many positive changes have happened in my life over the past few days, I’m not planning to give up on my usual plans. So today, the plan includes the gym, a meeting with friends, and the first – you could say “family” – grocery shopping. Oh, and I almost forgot – writing my own course.

When we met with my friends, they quickly realized that something was going on.

- Come on, tell us! Is that guy from Tinder even cooler in real life than in the pictures? – Susan was burning with curiosity.

- Aha, if only. It turned out he was a pick-up artist – he didn't let me choose a dessert for coffee and ordered one slice of cake for two, and when I said I’d pay without any problem, he asked me to buy him a beer and something to eat. And when he was rude to the waiter and I couldn’t take it anymore and was about to leave, he started calling me the worst names.

- What??? Is that Igor you were messaging with? – Lilia couldn’t connect the polite man from the dating app with the guy from my story.

- Yeah, you had a fun date.

Then I shared news about Tristan, my move, and plans for the big course with the girls. Together we came up with something ideal – in addition to my original lessons, we’ll offer the participants one psychological consultation from Sveta and three yoga sessions with Lilia. It’s not that hard to do – the classes will be online. And for the course participants, that will be a great help in solving psychological issues and motivation to start doing sports.

The evening was quite exhausting – I spent almost an hour and a half gathering my things to finally move in with Tristan. It turns out I had gotten fairly settled in Pidhaichy. A lot of stuff, shoes, kitchen knick-knacks like muffin pans and a non-stick frying pan – all of it took up almost all the space in the car. But once we had moved everything and put it in boxes, I felt a tremendous relief.

- Listen, can I ask you something? – during dinner, I decided to start a rather difficult but necessary conversation.

- Sure, Cinderella. – The man of my dreams says my name once again, but each time I hear an incredible warmth in his voice.

- Tristan, how did you decide so quickly to suggest we live together? Most of the time we’ve known each other, we were very far apart and hardly communicated.

- You know, I never doubted for a second about the correctness of my decision. First of all, I’m not afraid. I used to be afraid all the time – afraid that the girl would turn out to be dishonest. Afraid that our relationship wouldn’t work out. Afraid that I’d end up alone again. But with you – it’s different. The only thing I’m afraid of is losing you. I love you, Cinderella.

- And I love you, Tristan.

When I opened my laptop at half past eleven, I realized my arms were exhausted from moving things around, and my eyes were glued shut from the hectic day. So instead of pushing my body, I took a hot bath and went to bed. I hugged the man of my dreams and sank into a world of sweet fantasies.
