(Day 92/122 of the experiment)
My first morning run at the stadium was wonderful. Yesterday, Tristan said that the stadium is open every morning for anyone who wants to run. So I decided not to waste any time and at 6:15 I was warming up like a real athlete.
And when I came home, aside from my two favorite men, a hot croissant and strong coffee were waiting for me – just what I needed to recharge for productive work. Not wanting to lose a minute, I opened my laptop and began drafting the course program. The main condition for participating in the course will be keeping a personal diary – I want the participants to record all the internal and external changes happening in their lives.
*SMS*
Cinderella, I'm asking you not to make any plans for this evening. I’m inviting you to dinner. To a celebratory dinner.
What holiday is it today? I typed it into Google, but it only returned “balloon day,” “day of laughter at one's own flaws,” and “day of war with neighbors.” Nothing interesting or important. About five minutes later, I completely forgot my musings regarding the holiday – I was fully immersed in my work.
During the vocal class, the instructor praised me and said that a huge progress was noticeable. My voice has stopped quivering, and the fear of singing is gone. As if I’ve stopped being afraid to assert myself and want the whole world to hear who Cinderella is.
At six, Tristan will pick me up. He told me to leave Richard plenty of food and water and to take my swimsuit and change of clothes with me – we’re going to another city. Being the exemplary girlfriend that I am, I also tossed my laptop and a little black dress into my bag – just in case there’s a cocktail reception?
To feel comfortable on the road, I wore jeans, a light chiffon top, and a blazer on top. It looks decent for the restaurant and won't get wrinkled during the trip. Three hours later, the city of Nashville warmly welcomed us. I hadn’t been here for a long time, and that was just in transit – we once went on a school trip. But I remembered nothing except for McDonald's and laughter on the bus.
Once again, I was convinced that Tristan has excellent taste – he chose a stylish hotel near the city center. We quickly dropped off our things and headed to the restaurant for dinner.
I have never been to a cozier place. The dim light, classical music, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a beautiful view of the city panorama. It feels like there are only the two of us in the world. So romantic, like in a movie.
-Cinderella, remember I talked about the gift from London that I brought you but haven't given yet?
-Yes, you mentioned something like that.
-Today I’m finally going to present it to you.
Suddenly, the lights in the restaurant come on and the music gets a little louder, and our waiter brings out a huge bouquet of white and blue hydrangeas.
-Cinderella, my beloved woman, will you become my wife?
-What? Oh my God! Yes!
And Tristan slipped a delicate Cartier ring onto my finger. Since that day this man returned to Ukraine, my life has spiraled even more – two weeks ago I didn’t even know if we were going to be dating, and now I’m already in the status of “fiancée.”
The emotions were so overwhelming that I couldn’t hold back and immediately posted a photo on my Instagram.
(Day 93/122 of the experiment)
The first thought that came to my mind when I woke up was, "Am I dreaming? Did Tristan propose to me yesterday?" But glancing quickly at my hand, I saw my ring. This is not a dream; it's my life. Or rather – the life of my dreams!
To avoid getting lost in a foreign city, I swapped a morning walk for an hour of swimming. There was no one at the pool yet, so I could enjoy the background music and the water. Tristan said he would take me on a tour of the city today and then we would go to the SPA. So I started my day at 6 a.m. to have time to work on my course.
Nashville captivated me with its beauty. In this city, history meets modernity. Ancient buildings stand next to new constructions. There are countless pedestrian streets and squares where people can simply read a book or enjoy a coffee. And the planetarium was the cherry on top. First, we listened to a guide who told us the history of astronautics in Ukraine, and then we watched a film about the Sun and other planets. I never thought that at nearly 30, I would be fascinated by space just like the 8-year-old children sitting next to us.
And to top it off, the largest SPA complex in the country. It seems I've never truly rested until today. Six hours flew by like forty minutes. We enjoyed a couples massage – while our backs were being worked on with hot stones, we lay holding hands. We also steamed in the Finnish sauna, slept in a room with aroma oils, and even sat in a room with a salt vest.
In the evening, we ordered sushi to our room and watched movies. Oh God, how I love my life!
