Billionaire Love Affair with the Surrogate

Nine

Ch. 9 / 153 Mar 13, 2026

Nathan saw Anya lying in the floor and danger lit in his eyes. He licked his lips as he stared at the beautiful woman pitifully lying on the floor. Truly, nothing beats a man but a vulnerable woman.

He anxiously took off his tie and unbuttoned his shirt. He gazed crazily at the woman as he approached her. Before he could take off his pants, the door burst open and a tall handsome man rushed in.

Nathan was startled and immediately turned back. He was greeted by a strong fist and he fell back on the cold ground. He was about to throw curses at the impudent man but was startled when he recognized him.

It was Damon Castellano, the head of the Castellano Conglomerate. His curses suddenly turned into a stuttered greeting.

“M-mr. Castellano?” he said with a shaking voice. There was blood on the sides of his lips and he was still dizzy from the strong punch just now.

Damon did not pay him any mind as he quickly went to Anya who was still lying on the floor. He held her in his arms and placed his hand on her head to check. There was a small bump but she was breathing steadily, Damon calmed down a little. He transferred his sharp glare at the man who was sprawled on the floor.

When Damon learned of Anya’s circumstances, he had secret bodyguards guard her for a while because he had a bad feeling about her husband. And unfortunately, a day hadn’t even passed and she was already in danger. When he got a notification of her going to a hotel, he already knew what was up. So, he followed her here and was met

with such situations.

His men burst into the room and surrounded Nathan. Damon got up with Anya in his arms and stared down at Nathan condescendingly. He had a deadly glare, and if it can kill, then Nathan would be in a funeral right now.

“Perhaps you know it is a crime to force a woman? Actually, there’s no need to remind you, any normal man would know this. Except for assholes.” Damon’s voice was chilly and acid was dripping in his words.

Nathan began to be nervous again. He knew if he offed this man, he can do more than throw him to prison. So, he carelessly explained.

“I am not forcing her! She was given to me by Mr. Davis to accompany me!” He exclaimed as sweat flowed down from his forehead.

When Damon heard this, he frowned as his speculations turned out to be true. What a damned man was Andrei Davis?

“He dared use a woman to strengthen his career. What a useless and foolish man.” He said harshly as he glanced at the beaten men outside. Some of them were Nathan’s, and some were men from the Davis Company.

“You make sure you shut your mouth about this matter. And I hope you know better than work with Mr. Davis in the future, am I right?” Damon threatened with a scary calm voice. The man around Nathan was pinning him down and putting force on his shoulder and legs. Nathan exclaimed from the pain and hurriedly answered.

“I understand! I understand, Mr. Castellano,” He said hurriedly with large droplets of sweat on his face.

Damon let him suffer more for a moment before he ordered his men to stop. He might let him go just this time, but he can’t leave unscathed for what he did to the woman.

He gave Nathan one more chilling glance and left the private room. While walking,

Damon glanced at the unconscious woman in his arms. It is their second meeting, and again it was the same situation, her unconscious. He sighed and booked another presidential suite to place the woman to.

He gently laid her on the bed and stared at her for a while. Her eyes were closed and were peacefully sleeping. He wondered when would she finally stare at him with that bright blue eyes.

Where she would look at him directly in the eyes.

Damon was slightly startled by these thoughts. He doesn’t know why he was feeling this way. But he anticipates the moment.

He was pulled back from his reverie when his assistant notified him that the doctor he had called had arrived. He did not neglect the possible cause of Anya’s unconsciousness and did not hesitate to call for a doctor to check.

He got up from the bed and greeted the doctor. After that the doctor immediately checked Anya.

After checking, the doctor said it was nothing serious but still gave some medicine and medicinal cream to the woman. Damon finally let go of his worries and thanked the doctor.

After he left, Damon once again looked at the woman on the bed. He only stared for a while and got ready to leave.

Before he went on his way, he gave one last glance at the woman and whispered in the wind.

We would be meeting soon.

He then made his way out of the room.

……………………………………………………………………..

Anya woke up and found herself in a foreign room once again. She became nervous but with the familiar scenario, there was a sense of ease and assumption. Was she saved by that man again? Her last memory was when she hit the table and fainted.

Being reminded of that dreadful event, hurt and coldness washed on Anya’s heart for the nth time. She wanted to hit herself for being so stupid to again trust that despicable man. How could he have the heart to do this to her. He was really no longer the man she married.

Anya got up and curled her legs to her chest as she buried her face to her knees. The man was probably laughing and enjoying himself right now. While she was here in this cold and desolate room, freshly and barely saved from a big tragedy.

She laughed self-deprecatingly. She drowned herself in self-pity and self-blame for a moment before she clenched her hands. She raised her head and looked at her ring finger.

Her wedding ring was long removed from her finger but she still dreads that this finger once held the promise of that man. With hate in her eyes, she promised that this will be the last time she would believe and cater to that monster.

She glanced at the side table and saw her bag. She picked it up and looked for her phone. When it was on her hand, the only person she could only ask for help was her

only trusted friend. When she saw how late it was, she dropped the idea of calling and opted to message her instead.

Hey, darling. I need your help. Can you help me file for a divorce? One that is legal and legit. If I let that man handle it, who knows when he will file or if the documents would be legitimate. I don’t want to disturb so if you read this and have the time, call me so I can explain everything. I’m sorry for the surprise.

This was her only girlfriend. She doesn’t have a lot of friends, and this one was her only trusted pal. The only person who would help her perhaps.

But speaking of help, her thoughts once again drifted to a help she received tonight. Which she doesn’t even know. Who was this and why was he helping her?

Anya doesn’t believe someone would be as good as a Samaritan who would help her even without them knowing each other. But here she was, receiving his help twice already but there was no one who was asking for return.

No matter what his intentions were, she hoped she could thank him one day. And if she possible, she wants to return the favor in any way that she can. But the que isstion, who and where is he?

She sighed.

My savior, I hope we will meet soon.
