Derrick slowly turned his head and looked away in the direction Gloria had gone.
His gaze fell on Lillian.
Derrick didn't need to use his abilities as a werewolf. He could read Lillian's thoughts from her expression.
He could see a trace of discontent in Lillian's eyes about Gloria.
He thought that Lillian was just like most of the women he met, arrogant and ignorant.
In fact, Lillian looked young and energetic. She had beautiful long brown hair and fair skin.
But she was far less attractive than the woman named Gloria.
Derrick kissed Gloria twice, and he grew more passionate as he kissed her again.

She thought that she hid her emotions well and had no idea that Derrick had seen her through.
Derrick felt that Lillian was quite pretentious, which made him sick.
However, he said, "I remember your name. Go to work."
After that, he gracefully passed by Lillian and left the stairwell.
He knew that Lillian would fall in love with him like other women, but he didn't care.
Lillian thought that Derrick had a better impression of her, and she calmed herself down.
She kept going upstairs. On the stairs, she met Gloria. It reminded her of the scene she just ran into.
She was so jealous. She glared at Gloria. "Bitch!"

Turning around, Gloria limped away and disappeared from Lillian's vision.

She did not understand. This woman was sympathetic, but why was she so arrogant in front of her?
In Lillian's eyes, Gloria was an ugly freak, yet she seduced men whenever she had a chance.
Lillian recalled that handsome face of Derrick again, and she felt even more resentful in her heart. This bitch must have seduced Derrick!
People saw what happened between Lillian and Gloria. They also saw Lillian's reaction. Though Lillian was not popular at all...

Someone asked, "What happened, Lillian? Did you have a problem with Gloria again?"
Lillian was furious. She sneered, "How can I have a problem with an ugly woman that seduces guys around?"
People looked at each other and were curious about what happened.
One of them said, "Seducing guys? You mean Gloria?"
Lillian nodded and said, "I saw her hugging Mr. Fisher in the stairwell."

They looked surprised.

"I saw it with my own eyes. They were hugging and kissing each other in the stairwell." There was a trace of jealousy in Lillian's eyes.

Gloria was nothing. She was ugly and crippled, and she would do anything for money. She didn't deserve Derrick.
Lillian had long forgotten about Gloria's kindness to her.
