The girl was gripped tightly by the strap of the bag as she stood in front of the huge building.
She can't believe that this place is underground. Earlier, when they passed the hidden building, he almost opened the car to get out, worried that everyone might be trapped.
But now, he has nothing else to say. Many people were outside the building, all armed and on guard. This headquarters looks like an illegitimate company, but he can't speak right away.
"Come on, they're waiting for you."
He immediately nodded to the man next to him before following him on foot. She kept on bowing her head whenever she came across the man in the suit bowing to them.
She saw the admiration in their eyes while looking at her but she just ignored it.
They went straight into the building. Her eyes widened when she saw how high tech the things inside are.
Lots of holograms and computers around, everyone is busy also with their job. But deep thought did not take away from him. Is this an illegal business or agency?
She bit her lower lip as her male companion led her on an elevator. She just rubbed the hem of the long sleeve of her white dress. She wanted to go home because it doesn't feel right for her.
"Let's go. Don't be scared, we won't kill you," the former boss laughed, calming him down.
She chuckled softly before flashing a sweet smile. When the elevator opened, a very large room opened up to him. To his recollection, this floor was second to the highest floor.
He was attacked by nervousness when they were greeted by three individuals. Just by looking at them, she can clearly see that these four men in front of him are powerful.
"Astreille Heveiana, right?" asked the man in front of him.
She bit her lower lip due to nervousness before nodding. "Yes."
"Do you know why you're here?" the man in the back asked seriously.
She slowly nodded her head. "Yes."
Silence enveloped all around when the men did not answer him.
Eventually he was almost taken aback when they suddenly applauded.
"Great! There's a single woman in this agency as well. Finally putangina!" the blue -haired man sighed.
She was shocked with their sudden actions.
"Tangina pre, I seem to be encouraged. I'm fed up with the faces of you idiots," a man with shoulder -length hair said emphatically.
Astreille's former boss, Ephraim, cleared his throat before beating the three men in front of them with the girl.
"Abnormal, behave properly. They don't look like cows, ha," Astreille said with a smile.
She thought they'll throw her out, she was scared by its expressions earlier.
"Tangina Ephraim, just admit that you're tired of seeing dick heads around you. It's like I'm changing every time I come out of the headquarters, I think of alien women," the thin man said with a laugh.
"Stop it. By the way, this is Astreille Havaiana, she ranked as the 2nd greatest hacker in the whole world," Ephraim seemed to have a tone of boasting.
Astreille smiled sweetly when she faced the three guys. "Hi, pretty, I'm Teodore."
He accepted her hand that was laid out in front of him. It was as if the man was trembling to walk away while his two companions were still pushing.
"Hey, it's nice to see a girl here in our headquarters. I am Greg," the long -haired man introduced himself.
He also accepted her hand, and like Teodore it also seemed to tremble to walk away while still slightly arguing.
The last guy who had blue dyed hair smiled. "Hi, I'm Kyel!"
When he took her hand, she quickly let go and smiled awkwardly. "I'm sorry, I'm still traumatized by the girls."
Astreille was shocked when his companions beat him. "Your art, your art. You're really good."
She let out a soft laugh while looking at them. It looks like a child even though its postures are intimidating.
"Hey, Astreille. I think you need to meet our boss, he's on the last floor. Come on?" Ephraim was with him when he recovered his vices.
She swallowed many times when she heard that. She didn't know, but she was suddenly nervous when she heard it from the man's mouth. Their boss?
He shook his head and just thought that their boss was just like them. Maybe he's old and a great hacker too, and he needs someone to take care of his job for a while since he's old?
She doesn't know. He needs to talk to them first to find out why he needs to join this group.
While inside the elevator, Astreille couldn't help but think of the look of the boss they were referring to.
Skinny, old, wrinkled skin and itchy.
He almost stared at himself when he thought of that. She felt guilty for a moment, but he can't avoid it because that's exactly what he sees most of the time.
"We're here. Come on." Ephraim also supports him out of the elevator for which he is grateful.
It was as if he would just be stunned all day because of the buoyancy. The moment she stepped on the last floor, she couldn't help but to be amazed by how manly the room looked.
The utensils are black and a large glass wall faces them.
The 'boss' seems lonely. With all these colors around him, Astreille cannot stand it. She feels scared whenever she sees the color black. But now, he is not too scared because the whole office is nice and well organized.
"Boss," Emphraim said while looking at the man in suit sitting on his swivel chair.
Astreille covered her mouth because she had just noticed the man behind them.
He's not even skinny.
And, his posture looks like he's still young. With those broad shoulders and manly figure.
"Astreille is here. I'll go ahead, boss. Talk to you first."
Astreille was confused when her companion suddenly left in front of her. He still wanted to chase it but the elevator closed immediately.
She just swallowed hard while looking at the man. He looked forward to facing it as it began to spin in front of him.
As soon as she saw his face. Panic and fear immediately crossed his mind.
She took a few steps back while looking at the man in disbelief.
"Y-You?" she said while stuttering.
Xord Knights stood up from his seat while looking at her intently.
"Yes, me."
