"Auntie, how is your uncle? What did the doctors say?" the girl asked confusedly when she saw her aunt come out of the room.
"Ija, Astreille. It's a good thing you're here," the old man cried before hugging her.
Astreille welcomed her auntie's embrace. He knew he really needed a partner because they were the only ones left for each other.
"Don't be discouraged, auntie. Auntie will recover, that's why she's strong." She smiled sweetly to soothe the old man.
"You really are, ija. You're so beautiful, so even your smile is contagious. It's a good thing you've arrived, my sadness is lessening." Astreille giggled sweetly while caressing her auntie's back.
"Auntie Harmonia, no matter what happens, I'm just here for you, uncle." She's trying to lift the mood.
"Thank you, ija. You're a very kind child. You really look like an angel, you're so beautiful, you're still very kind." The old man pinched his cheek slightly which made him smile.
Astreille looked at the cousin who was sleeping in the chair. She carried Marie gently before letting her sleep on her lap.
"Maybe it's Marie who's tired, aunt, she's obviously very sleepy." She slowly combed her cousin's hair.
"How, a lot of assignments. He finished them all earlier because his father was in the hospital. There, he woke up," the old man explained.
"Auntie, can you rest as well? I brought my car. Marie and you will just rest there first, I'll take care of you first. I slept a long time ago," he said. He remembered the advice here as he gently caressed the old man's back.
She carried Marie like a child before helping her aunt to stand. "Oh, ija, isn't that embarrassing to you? Maybe we're bothering you too much."
She frowned. "Auntie, eh. Your body is about to collapse and I'm still the one you're worried about. All right, auntie, it's really okay with me."
The old man smiled sweetly before nodding slowly. He got up from his seat and followed.
When they boarded the elevator, she immediately pressed the G button where the parking lot was.
When they got there, she arranged for her cousin to be lifted while still supporting her aunt, who had difficulty walking.
She took her car keys from her pocket to open the car. He carefully laid Marie down in the backseat while placing a pillow neck under her head.
She opened the door for the old man and lowered the alignment of the chair, she took the other pillow on her headrest and led the old man horizontally here.
She kissed her auntie's forehead. "Rest first, huh? Don't worry about me. I'll take care of my uncle."
"Thank you very much, ija. Thank you so much," the smiling old man replied.
She just smiled when she saw her auntie's closed eyes. He had already closed the doors of his car and only slightly opened its windows.
He parked the car near the two guards so he was comfortable that nothing bad would happen to them. And if not, she has another plan. She always has another plan.
He slowly opened the compartment of the vehicle and activated the device there where he could detect sharp objects or deadly weapons. When it alarms, small microcameras around his vehicle automatically open. She's wearing a wrist watch that's connected to the cameras. He will first be alerted if anyone is approaching.
And if she finds out that the person is quite dangerous, she'll just press the red button. The gun would automatically appear around his car to shoot any of that evil creature.
She's the one who created this device, it's helpful. Several times he almost perished and this saved him.
When everything was in order, he went back to the floor where his uncle was. She immediately saw the nurses and doctor just coming out of her room.
"D-Doc? How is the patient?" he asked here.
"Are you related to Freddie Dela Cruz?" It's a question.
She nodded her head. "Yes."
"The patient's vitals are fine. But he still doesn't wake up, his response is slow. But we're comfortable that after 1 week, he'll recover soon. But the problem here, he'll be paralyzed temporarily. When he fell "patient", his head was hit by a sharp object so the other side of his brain was affected. He just needs to undergo therapy and everything will be fine, he'll survive," he explained at length as he breathed a sigh of relief.
In the end, it was as if a thorn had been pulled out of his chest.
He politely bowed to it. "Thank you, doc. Thank you very much."
"By the way, I heard that the patient has a sponsor. You don't have to pay anymore because that person has already answered everything." Astreille frowned at what was heard.
"Yes?"
"Oh, I thought you knew that person. We can't tell you who that person is because he chose to hide his identity. "
Astreille nodded her head slowly while trying to process everything inside her head.
"We have to go, yes."
He immediately bowed to pay his respects to them. When he saw them walking away, he immediately sat down on the rows of chairs outside his uncle's room.
"Who the hell--" Her eyes widened when she heard what was said. She quickly covered her mouth before licking her lips. He knocked on the wall then non.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to cuss. Oh gosh, your mouth, Astreille," she calmed herself.
She took a deep breath. "Who's the sponsor? Atsaka, why?" she whispered to herself.
She doesn't know who that person is. And if they do not want to give him the identity of that person, he will be forced to use his knowledge.
