Nalya
Rhaegar's eyes were burning with anger. He looked like he was about to kill someone.
"Are you angry at me?"
He shook his head and grabbed my hands.
"No, Love. I'm not angry at you. I'm angry at your father and everyone who watched this happen?!" he growled, hugging me. I held him like dear life.
"What did he do? Did he hit you?" Rhaegar's chest was rising and falling. I nodded, and he held me tighter.
"What's his name?" I waited. Rhaegar would approach him and possibly kill Arlon William. Many rogues will suffer because of me.
"I can't tell you because you will kill him,"
"As he deserves," he said.
"Many will suffer. He is of higher rank,"
He sighed as though he was losing his patience with me.
"Please tell me his name,"
"You need to promise you'll think of the innocent rogues who want nothing more than to be a pack before you do anything rush," I said. If he were to kill Arlon, there was a chance it wouldn't happen.
"That fucker Arlon William?!" he roared, and I flinched. He figured it out. " Is it him?"
"Rhaegar, I'm not confirming until you promise to be rational,"
"I can't promise you that," he stood up.
"Please, those rogues are good and deserve a chance," I said.
"Fine. I'll be rational for you. Now, was it Arlon William?" he gritted his teeth.
"Yes,"
He punched the wall, and I shot to my feet, stopping him before he could do it again.
"What else did he do?"
"He made me do other things with my mouth and hands because we didn't consummate our marriage,"
Rhaegar's eyes widen. His body was shaking angrily, and I cried, remembering those nights. Rhaegar cupped my face with trembling hands and with a shaky voice said.
"But... You're so delicate, precious, and so good,"
A stray tear rolled down his face, and I wiped it.
"I think I'm doing better now, Rhaegar," I assured him firmly, but he didn't believe me. He pulled me in his warm embrace where I cried. He stroked my hair gently. I felt him sit down, and I was on his lap, hiding my face in his chest.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that," he whispered to me. " I'm so fucking sorry, Nalya,"
We pulled away when my stomach growled, and I blushed. He caressed my face.
"Let us eat,"
I nodded and sat back down. I ate almost everything on the tray, and Rhaegar watched me. He was only eating meat.
"I wish you could stay with me every day," he said, " So. What are you doing today?"
"I don't have work today. Usually, I stay in," I told him.
"You can stay here with me," he suggested. I nodded.
"But I'll need to go home to get clothing,"
"I'll take you,"
We reached the apartment in fifteen minutes and went upstairs, but I screamed when I entered. It was sacked, and the furniture was broken.
Rhaegar picked out his phone and started shouting out orders.
"Yes, check all the cctvs. I want the perpetrators found and punished," he said.
I left Kiyana's bedroom to go to mine. My blood ran cold when I read the letters on the wall.
"FOUND YOU, LITTLE ONE,"
My room had a terrible stench. Like everything else in the house, glass, and furniture were shattered on the floor, and my clothes were ripped.
Rhaegar pulled me out of there. I sat down on the couch that
wasn't completely ruined. I was shaking with fear. Arlon found me.
Prince Rhaegar pulled me in his arms and held me.
"He'll pay for this," he promised. The door opened. Kiyana and Nate came rushing to us.
"Nalya, babe, are you alright?" she asked. Rhaegar stood up, and Kiyana took his place.
"I'm fine. I wasn't home when this happened," I said, and she hugged me.
"But who could have done this? Is it Jake, Owen, or Lei? They were bitter when I ended our relationship," she said. Nate growled from the kitchen.
"I told you, Love, I wasn't a saint," she hollered.
"No, this was targeted at me," I said.
"Why?"
"The man my parents married me off to did this," I began to tell her everything. By the time I was done, Kiyana was cursing and promising to kill my father.
"I'm sorry for all this Kiya. I put you in danger, and now, everything we worked hard for is gone,"
"Oh hun, it's not your fault you have a maniac husband," she said.
Nate and Rhaegar came back into the kitchen. He gave me a mug of tea,
"Security around the building showed two men entering the building disguised as engineers,"
Rhaegar pulled out his phone, and indeed, two men entered the building.
"Do recognize them, Nalya?" Nate asked. I shook my head.
"What do we do now?" Sighed Kiyana.
The two men glanced at each other
"We are thinking you should come to the pack with us," Nate said.
"It's dangerous for you girls to be out here until we catch Arlon William," Rhaegar said, " Some of our men are headed to the rogue town, and will be back with feedback by tomorrow,"
I glanced at Kiyana. She was scared but didn't show it.
"I guess, it's all we can do now," she sighed. Nate's eyes are stuck on her. She puts her arms around her neck and kissed him.
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Yes, I can handle a wolf or two,"
We stayed at the hotel that day. I was still slightly shaking after what happened, and it was pouring heavily now. Rhaegar held me in his arms. Our eyes were on the glass windows, watching the downpour. His lips were gently kissing my shoulder. I was dozing, and his gentle hand felt amazing in my hair.
