Be the Alpha 2
Three days later, The Alpha's ceremony was being held in the pack's hall, filled with so many members. Stiles being the chief guard was in charge of security as the Rogues were all over the hall making sure that no one disrupted the ceremony that was about to take place.
Almano stood in front of the crowd of people while Adeline officiated the event.
"Members of the Red moon pack, we are gathered her today to coronate a new alpha. As we all know, my son Coast who was the previous Alpha has gone rogue and he is no longer himself which means he can't rule anymore. I have done my possible best to bring him back but all efforts have been proved abortive. Instead of staying in the past and allowing our enemies to make their plots against us because our Alpha has gone rogue we would rather choose a new Alpha to rule us.
An Alpha who can protect us and is probably in his right mind, it is what my son Coast would have wanted anyways" She said aloud but the crowd was quiet as they listened to her.
"Almano step forward" Adeline ordered.
Almano turned towards his mother and took a kneel in front of her,
"Almano Vile, do you accept to be the Alpha of this pack, to uphold and protect this pack keeping each and every member in safe heavens and protect this pack from its enemies just like your brother did" she asked him.
"I accept" he said.
"By the power vested on me, I make you the Alpha of this pack" she gave the mantle to him as he stood up.
There was an uproar amongst the crowd, the pack members refused going down on their knees to him and Adeline was furious about it. She could see they were trying to cause a riot by not submitting to him as the new Alpha.
There were whispers among the people,
"The Alpha is still alive and she is coronating another"
"Where is the Luna, why is she not here to stop this"
"Does she expect us to bow down to him when we still feel the bond to our alpha"
"What nonsense is this" they murmured among themselves.
Almano felt worried by what was going on, he turned to his mother and she smiled claiming everything was in control.
"Is there anyone who doesn't accept this, please step forward and give your reason" Adeline asked and an old man moved but before he could say anything, She gave Stiles the signal and his head was cut off immediately.
This caused so much fear among the members as they watched in horror the head rolling down the ground until it finally stopped leaving behind a trail of blood. It was obvious to them that their opinion was not needed and this was a takeover.
They all went down on their knees in support of Almano.
"Exactly what I thought" she said to herself smiling. Adeline knew quite well that there was going to be a riot against Almano being the Alpha but she also had a way to solve it. Make one of them a scapegoat and the rest will learn their lesson which was what she did to them. She was not going to let anyone stand in the way of Almano being the Alpha.
The event came to an end but there were rumors and gossips until it got to the ears of Bella in her room, she could hear the omega's talking about it as they walked past her room.
"How could she make someone else the Alpha when the true alpha is still alive?" one of them whispered.
"Is that even possible" the other answered.
"You two, do you want to be killed?" The guard by her door cautioned them and they kept quiet immediately. Bella had already heard it all and it was easy for her to know who was coronated as the Alpha.
"A new Alpha?, Almano" she thought to herself doubting if Adeline would do such s thing.
She opened and pushed the guard out of her way,
"You cannot leave this room" the guard gained his balance and tried to stop her.
She grabbed his hand and flipped him to the ground, "I may not have my powers but I am not weak" she informed him and walked towards where she believed Adeline would be.
Adeline was having a cup of coffee in the court room when Bella stormed into the room startling her,
"What the hell have you done?" She barked at her with her blood boiling hot.
"I tried to stop her" the guard came running to explain himself but Adeline dismissed him to have s discussion with Bella, she was expecting her.
"Wait outside" she ordered the guard and he walked away.
"What exactly did I do?" She asked standing up from her seat.
"Did you just make Almano the new Alpha while Coast is still alive" she demanded. Bella had never thought she could actually do such a thing.
"Coast is not himself, he is just a beast. The Coast we know is gone and he will never be back" Adeline informed her certain of it. She had already set a date that she would end his life but it had to be in way that she wouldn't be suspected.
"So you want to finish him off while your son remains the Alpha. Is that your plan?" She inquired.
"Yes, did you think I came here to take my revenge, I came here to regain everything that I had lost. My son deserves to be the Alpha because he is also Coast's brother and that means he stand a chance to be Alpha. If I am able to make that possible then I would do that, that is how far I would go for my child" Adeline answered.
"Coast's brother, more like a child born out of wedlock.
You may think that you have Coast under your grasp but I bet you that when he is back. You would be sorry that you ever tried to kill him" Bella strictly warned her, she had faith that Coast was going to come back and he was going to finish her off.
"He is never coming back, I will make sure of that" Adeline informed her instead.
Bella turned to leave when she saw Almano standing behind her, she spat at his leg and gave him a death glare.
"You will also regret this" she said.
"Bella" he tried to stop her so he could talk to her.
"What is it, what do you want?" She yelled at him for trying to stop her.
"Can't you just accept this?" He uttered.
"Accept what, you being the Alpha?" She scoffed at such words, how could he tell her to accept that when her mate was still the Alpha.
"Yes"
"Never, you are not the Alpha and you can never be the Alpha" she informed him.
"I think it is high time you accept the truth, I am the new Alpha of this pack so you have to submit to me. We could start again, you and me as the Alpha and Luna of this pack" he commented but she just laughed.
"You want me to be your Luna?" She inquired.
"Yes"
"Are you stupid?
Do you think that because you were made the Alpha that I would accept to be yours. I am not your Luna, if you are the Alpha then I am no longer the Luna of this pack you can go and find someone else to be your Luna because I would never be that for you" she stated and he was ticked off. He grabbed her by the neck pinning her to the wall,
"You are going to do exactly as I say because I am the Alpha of this pack. You must submit to me Bella" he ordered her but she just spat on his face.
"You bitch" he raised his hand to slap her then stopped mid air, Bella didn't flinch one bit,she just glared at him.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you" he stopped and calmed himself down, why did she have to be so stubborn and tell him off.
"I don't fucking care, you would be sorry for what you and your mother have done by the time Coast is back. Trust me, I will be there to watch him kill you and tear you limb from limb while you scream in pain like a woman" she said directly to his face.
Almano tried so hard to control himself over such words.
"Take her back to her room and lock her up with no food or water, she can learn to behave if she is starved to death" He ordered and the guards dragged Bella back to her room and locked her up.
