Save him
Bella woke up the next morning all blissful and happy, it had been a while since she last slept so peacefully, she could feel someone was with her so she turned to see Denise beside her.
"Good morning Luna" she greeted her with a warm smile.
"What's the time?" Bella asked thinking she had overslept.
"It's still morning, I wanted to ask if I should bring breakfast to you?" She asked.
Denise woke up early to make breakfast because of Bella, she wanted to call Bella to have Breakfast with her but then thought she might still be sleeping so she decided to check herself.
"I thought I overslept" Bella answered, it had been a while since she slept peacefully like that, the last time was the night Coast got poisoned, she had slept off in his arms that night.
"There is no problem with that" Denise replied. Being with them must given her so much peace that Dennis wondered how she felt being surrounded by those that wanted her dead.
"I will bring breakfast for you then" She commented and brought the breakfast to her. Bella finished it at a go and ask for more surprising her.
"You want more?" She asked.
"Yes" Bella nodded and she brought more for her.
"You seem to have a big appetite" She said surprised by how fast she was consuming the food and in no time, she was done eating.
"It's not just for me" Bella replied touching her stomach with a smile. She wasn't just eating for herself but also the baby otherwise she would have stopped eating a while ago.
Denise immediately picked the hint from her actions,
"Wait a minute, are you trying to tell me that you are pregnant.
You have a child in your womb?" she asked delighted about such news.
"Yes" Bella nodded.
"Wow, Congratulations Luna" she quickly hugged her in happiness as she felt thrilled about it.
Bella smiled a bit but then her smiled faded immediately which Denise noticed,
"You are not happy about the baby?" She asked concerned.
"I am, I just wish Coast was the first person to hear this, he would have been so happy. You know he agreed to having a child even if it was just one" She said. Coast may have resisted not wanting to have a child because he didn't want to share Bella's attention with the child but he suddenly gave in and wanted a child of his own too.
"I just wish he were okay" Bella began crying about the sorry state Coast was in, she wasn't even able to break such news to him despite him being the first person she wanted to know about it.
"He will be Okay, He will definitely come back to you" Denise assured her in high hopes that Coast would be fine. If there was anyone who she believed to get over such a dilemma, it was definitely Coast because he was the Alpha, he had handled much bigger things than that.
"Are you sure he would come back to me?" Bella asked in doubt, with all the threats Almano had given to her about his death, she was worried scared but all she had to do was believe he would come back. All that faith was shaken when she met him but he didn't recognize her making her doubt her beliefs that he might come back to his right state of mind.
"I am certain about it, he would never leave you alone. You two are made for each other. He will definitely come back for you because you are his mate" Denise stated trying to believe what she had just said, she didn't want to make Bella lose hope in her mate so she tried to give her all the courage that she could get.
"He will come back for me" Bella repeated after her until it was imprinted in her mind, Denise's words gave her hope that Coast would surely come back to his senses.
While they were in the room, Lucian knocked on the door and walked in on them.
"Good morning Luna" He greeted.
"Morning Lucian" she answered.
"How did it go, are they still searching for her?" Denise asked him.
Lucian had left early in the morning to find out more about what Almano was plotting, after the search for Bella, he believed he wasn't going to stay still and might devise other plots to find her.
"It's much worse" he said and they instantly became worried.
"What is it?" Bella asked.
"I just heard that Alpha Coast is going to be killed in three days" he relayed.
Bella immediately sprung up shocked by such news.
"Are you sure you heard right?" She asked in fear if it were true, she was already beginning to feel scared.
"Yes, they are going to kill him in three days, I also overheard the guards saying it" he answered.
"We have to do something, we have to help him" Bella said panicking in fear that Coast might be killed by Almano.
"I don't think they would be able to kill him, he is still the Alpha of this pack and the people are not going to accept such a thing" Denise commented.
"They can do it, Adeline was able to poison Coast right in the castle and yet no one suspected her. She got him to transfer his authority to her keeping her in charge of the pack and still people believe her. I also found out that she was the reason Coast had turned into a feral beast unable to return to his normal form. She was able to suppress my wolf and the most annoying part of them all is that she got her son to be the Alpha while the real Alpha is still alive.
If they claim that they are going to kill him then they would kill me" Bella explained. She knew Adeline and Almano were not to be messed with after all that they had done, they had infiltrated the pack without trouble and were still able to gain control of it too.
"I guess we have to save him then" Lucian commented.
"That is going to be a tough plan, after Coast woke up changing into his wolf, he killed every single thing in his path including his own guards. I thought I could talk to him and get him to change back so I asked for a favour from Almano. He told me that Coast wasn't himself and won't be able to recognize me but I doubted that. To my surprise when I visited Coast, he almost tried to kill me" she narrated and they were shocked that Coast could not recognize his own mate.
"So what do we do now?, how do we save Coast that is still in his wolf form and can hardly recognize us?" Denise asked.
"I don't know" Bella answered.
"I hardly have my powers to begin with because of what Adeline did to me, I can't even reach out to my wolf either" Bella grunted, she felt like she was useless in saving Coast. At a time like this he needed her but she was not able to help him.
"I will think of a plan, just give me a day to come up with something okay" Lucian asked.
"I was thinking we just set him free?" Bella suggested.
"We cannot do that, he might kill more innocent people" Lucian objected, their intentions was to safe the Alpha and also keep the pack members safe. It would be a tragic incident to find out that Coast was the one who killed his pack members.
"But it would be better than leaving him there to die" Bella stated, she was beginning to sound desperate and selfish that all she cared about was saving Coast when he could be of harm to others.
"If you get him out, how about the fact that he is still not in his right senses, what if he kills us because he doesn't recognize us" Denise asked the question they were all avoiding to ask.
"Let me worry about this and think of a plan to save the Alpha, is that okay?" Lucian requested of them and they were silent about it. He took up the bigger responsibility to protect his Alpha as his Gamma, if Beta Arthur were with him then it would have been a much easier task but he was all alone, he was just like Bella. He had no army because the last time he checked, they had all been killed by the Rogues to make sure that no one defies Adeline and her orders. It was all a perfect ambush to dominate.
"Sure" Bella agreed and he left them in the room.
"Do you think he will be able to find a way?" Bella asked Denise, she was the only one who could see through Lucian and know what he was capable of doing because she was his mate.
"Don't worry, he will come up with a plan" Denise assured Bella according to the words Lucian said. She was certain Lucian would be able to find a way and not disappoint them.
"If you trust him then I trust him. I just don't want to let Coast down, I can't let him get killed by Adeline. I would blame myself for his death and not being able to save him too" Bella answered as she sat back thinking about how she could also help Coast. Considering the hatred Almano and Adeline had for Coast, she was certain that they might harm or kill Coast just as the rumors had said.
She looked down on her stomach and rubbed it,
"Don't worry child, nothing will happen to your father" she stated more talking to herself, trying to assure herself that Coast would be safe and that Lucian would find a way to get him back.
"We won't let such a thing happen, we will look for a way to get him out and then also change him back to human self. You do not need to worry, all you should care about is taking care of his baby because when he is back he would jump for joy over the news" Denise instructed her stroking her hair.
"Do you think so?" Bella's mood lightened up a bit when she heard her words. There was nothing she wanted more than seeing Coast happy over his own child.
"Ofcourse, he would be the happiest man knowing that his mate is carrying his child, his heir. Even I would be happy if I was the Alpha" she stated and they both laughed.
"How about you get some rest Luna and I will wake you up in time for lunch, this time I will sure to make double portion for you and the baby" she stated and she giggled.
"Thank you very much Denise, I don't know what I would done without you guys" she uttered appreciating how they took good care of her.
"You don't need to thank me Luna, I should be thanking you for getting me and Lucian out of the dungeon all by yourself, you risked your life for us and that I am very grateful for" Denise replied. She was more grateful to Bella who saved her life when she would have almost been killed by Adeline. She was the only one who trusted her aside from her mate and came to save her.
"I mean it Luna, you have to rest" she instructed and left Bella alone in the room as she laid her head to sleep again.
