Next phase
"What the hell did you think you were doing?" Adeline yelled at him.
"What" he reacted.
"Were you trying to force yourself on her, what is wrong with you?" She questioned him. When she walked pass Bella's room, she could hear the grunts and screams of Bella.
She immediately knew it was Almano, she got pissed that the first thing he would do was see Bella first instead of his own mother. she opened the door only to confirm that it was her son that was causing her to scream as he tried to force himself on her. She became so ashamed of him that she couldn't watch him continue such act.
"I couldn't control myself" he replied.
"Did I teach you to force yourself on a defenseless woman, where are your manners.
What the hell do you need her for, she is not your mate?" She asked noticing how attracted he was to Bella.
She had just invited him over and the first thing he did was to see Bella rather than come to her his mother.
"I don't care about mates, Bella is the only woman I want" he answered. He was already mad that he was disrupted from being with Bella but he couldn't show it to his mother otherwise her wrath would be massive over such disrespect.
"Well you should be because mates are bonded together by the moon goddess and it is hard to break them apart.
Do you love her?" She asked seeing how bold he was.
"With all my heart" he confessed.
"Then why would you force yourself on the woman you love?" She asked him and he was caught in a web. Almano didn't know why he forced himself on Bella but all he knew was that he couldn't resist her. He had always wanted her and when he was away from her, she was all he could think of. She was in his mind all these while and the thoughts of seeing her again kept him.
After meeting her, he tried to confess his feelings to her but the fact that she kept on insisting she wanted Coast without giving him a chance made him mad. He couldn't control his urge as he wanted to own her already.
"I lost it, I didn't mean to do that. She just provoked me" he answered instead.
"Did she tell you things like she loved Coast, did she claim he was her mate.
Was that the reason why you were mad?" she asked him certain that she had guessed right and he nodded his head.
"Aren't you supposed to expect that, Coast is the only man Bella has ever been with, you can't expect to leave him and fall in love with you. That would not be easy" she informed him.
"What do you want me to do, I really want her to see me the same way she see Coast" he muttered.
"With the way you are going, she might end up hating you the more. How do you think I got your father.
Do you think he didn't insist that he had a mate, he told me that every single time but I never backed down. I showed him that I would always be there and let him confide in me for everything, soon he began to grow feelings for me and that was when I began my plans wrapping him around my fingers. Women are not things that you can just own, you have to work your way to get them first.
Bella doesn't trust you as it is, how do you think she would love you. You have already given her enough reason to not want or consider you" She said and Almano was speechless about what she said.
"Fine, I will try to control myself" he reworded. If he had to take things slow ti get her then he would do it.
"By the way why aren't you applauding me for the progress I have gotten so far, do e think it is easy to do that to Coast" Adeline said taking her seat as she smiled over the chaos she had caused in the pack.
"I must say I am impressed mother" Almano answered praising her.
"I know right, I did all these and I will still do more.
Coast thought he was smarter than me by not trusting me but just one single act got him" she stated.
"How did you do it?" He asked to find out how she went about what she did.
"I tricked him into inhaling the famous Kaisan in a tea and he fell for it. That tiny smut didn't know he was inhaling poison, there are various to poison someone, he thought the poison was in the tea so he refused to drink it but still ended up being caught in my web" she giggled in excitement.
"You are indeed smart mother" Almano commented complimenting her for what she did.
"I know right, I am glad I came here myself to execute the plan.
This is why you never send a man to do a woman's job. I had sent you to kill your brother and you ended up falling in love with his mate, even now you still can't control yourself and still bothering her.
You are a total mess" she scowled at him.
"Haven't you seen her yourself, she is a complete beauty. Any man would lay down their life for her" he remarked.
"Any man, let that man not be you. Coast should be the one laying down his life for her and not you" she instructed him.
"Yes mother"
"I need you to do something, We have to move unto the next phase as soon as possible" she said taking out a tiny bottle from her sleeves.
"What is this?" He asked staring at the bottle she had carefully placed in his hand.
"That is wolfsbane mixed with Reishi, give it to Coast to drink" she said.
"Would this kill him?" He questioned.
"No, we can't kill him just yet. We need everyone to witness his death so that it could look like we did nothing to him and it wasn't our fault. The potion would only make his wolf turn feral and his human side lost. Coast would not longer be himself and would just be a bloodthirsty wolf killing anything in his path. He would never be able to change until the day he dies" She answered.
"And after he turns to a beast?" He asked again.
"We will see what would happen next" She answered.
"So when do we kill him?" He asked eager and Adeline could see how impatient he was in wanting Coast dead.
"You really want him gone don't you?" She asked him with a smirk on her face.
"More than anything" he replied. Almano wanted Coast to be dead so that he could have Bella all to himself. He didn't want to worry about a competition like Coast who was Bella's mate and he possibly couldn't compete with him. He aimed for Bella to see no one else but him.
"Well you should have killed him before rather than chasing after his mate. You can't rush my plans because you failed to do yours properly. Coast would die when I say he will" she informed him.
"I just hope it doesn't take long or I will kill him myself" he snickered.
"Why didn't you kill him when he was alive and well, make me feel like I raised a weakling who couldn't kill an Alpha. Get the job and don't you dare think of messing it up" she warned.
"I won't mother" he replied and left to do as she bid.
