My future
Coast and Bella ran towards each but Coast easily changed into his wolf carrying her on his back away from the pack until they got to a family house by the borders of the pack.
Bella slowly got down from his back and touched his face before he changed back into his human form.
"Coast" she hugged him tightly, he held her in his arms, his world had returned to him once again and he was glad.
"I missed you each day" she expressed her happiness of being with him that she jumped in his arms clutching him tightly and kissing his face.
"I missed you too" he answered carrying her into the house.
"Bella there is something you said before, I want to hear it again" he asked.
Bella was confused at first by what he meant but then immediately understood him. It must have been the reason why he spared her because of what she said.
"I'm pregnant" she let out.
"You are serious" he gave the warmest and brightest smile she has ever seen on him.
"Yes, I'm pregnant" she answered him and he lifted her up in the air spinning her around happily. This was exactly what Bella had pictured, him being excited over the news. She was glad that she was able to tell it to him and also see his reaction.
"I am going to be a father" he repeated three times with so much joy in his heart.
"You don't know how happy this made me right now" he exclaimed.
"I know right" she said looking a bit sad.
"What's wrong?" He asked noticing how sad she looked despite him being happy and wondered what was wrong.
"Is there anything wrong?, did I do anything?, is it the pregnancy?" He asked anxious on what would cause her to be sad when she should be happy that she was finally becoming a mother.
"Well this was supposed to be the best news for me and I had wished you were there when I got the news but instead of me being happy, I was scared. I was scared of what might happen to the child. I was scared that you might never come back for both of us" She expressed. Being in the custody of her enemies didn't give Bella the opportunity to celebrate over her child in the best way, it was as if the news of her pregnancy was like a burden for her to carry given the circumstances she was in.
"It's not too late for us. I am back now and Adeline and anyone who harmed us is gone. You can be happy now" he assured her holding her steadily in his embrace. He couldn't imagine what she had to go through while he was not himself.
"Why did you have to stay so long before coming back to me. Do you know how scared I was that I might lose you. That I might never see you again. You left me alone to deal with that wicked creature, how could you that to me" she punched his chest several times and Coast was startled by her charge of reaction. Was it the pregnancy that was causing her to switch moods in seconds.
"Bella, I am sorry" he tried to apologize.
"An apology would not solve this, each day I kept thinking of what I might do. Everyone that could have helped us was dead or Locked up. You hurt me, you tore my hand" she raised her arm to him where he had supposedly scratched her but the wound was all healed yet he believed her.
"Bella, I am really sorry.
I didn't mean for anything I did. Honestly I remember everything that happened right from the moment I was poisoned. It was like I waslocked up in my own mind and unable to do anything to affect my body. The worst of it all was when I changed into my wolf, I couldn't control him and neither could he control himself. I watched him kill as many people from my pack, all those guards screaming at the death of their own Alpha. I remember you coming to me to talk to me but instead I tried to harm you.
I wasn't happy with all that I did and I tried to fight it but I wasn't strong enough, the poison in my body was stronger than my will to take control.
I saw everything that happened, I heard everything Adeline and Almano said to me, how they bragged about being in control and how Almano claimed he was going to make you his own, believe me I wanted to break free and harm them. I watched Adeline drag you closer to me because she wanted me to kill you, I remember snarling and growling at you and that was when I began to fight as hard I could not to hurt you. I know i couldn't hurt my mate because it would leave me broken and I would be lost forever but I was able to break free when you pleaded on behalf of our child. I was able to fight back, not just to protect you but also our child.
You saved me Bella, you brought me back, you helped me to fight back into being myself again" he narrated raising her head to him to look into his eyes. Her beautiful eyes were quite mesmerizing to him as usual.
"I did?, I thought I was useless in helping you" she answered. She had tried to free him once but she was subdued by Adeline and she couldn't even get near him.
"You were all I needed to be in control again" he replied and she smiled looking at him.
"This is all my fault, I shouldn't have convinced you into helping Adeline, I should have let her die there just as you said then all these wouldn't have happened" she blamed herself further looking away from him.
He pulled her closer to him holding her waist tightly,
"I made the decision to help Adeline not you, it was my fault that I got tricked by her and falling into her trap. None of this has anything to do with you, my fight with Adeline started a long time ago and you are not the cause of it" he answered.
"Can you forgive me for staying too long and not returning to you earlier" he requested squeezing her cheeks.
"I am just glad that you are back to me" she expressed.
"So I am going to be a father" Coast said excited over the news once again after they had cleared everything out.
"Yes, you will be" she responded. Bella had always wondered what Coast would be like being a Father, she was grateful that she was finally given that chance.
"Thank you" he said sitting her down on his laps.
"What for?" She asked him in return.
"For this gift" he said.
"You don't need to thank me" she answered.
"I need to, you don't know what you have done to my life.
Before you came I was consumed by darkness but after you came I began to fight back. I began to see a light and a way forward, you changed my life Bella and now you have given me more reason for a future" he narrated expressing his deepest gratitude to her, they may not have had the best beginning but from the moment she walked into his life, everything changed.
"I will like to thank you to, because of you I was able to look beyond my family's tragic story and have a reason to keep on living, not just for them but also for me. I wouldn't have realized that if I hadn't met you" she replied.
"I can't wait to start a family with you" he wrapped his arms around her waist while she leaned on his chest.
"I can't either" she turned to him and kissed him fiercely trying to dominate the kiss but Coast took over. The whole was filled with a magical moment between as the relived the days of longing they had for each other just in one night buried deep in their lust and pleasure to be in each other's arms and to behold each other. The night gave birth to a full moon up in the sky which illuminated directly on the house, it was like the moon goddess was smiling down on them thanking them for holding unto each other and supporting each other into the very end.
Despite all that they had to go through, they pulled through because of their love.
