Kill his pregnant mate
Two hours later, Adeline walked into Bella's room.
"How do you feel?" She asked but Bella was irritated.
"Why does everyone keep asking how I feel, am I supposed to be okay" Bella lashed back at her. It was easy to know that Adeline and her son were alike because they asked the same dumb questions, was she supposed to feel fine because she was back in the castle with them.
"Fine, since you don't want this the easy way then I will go the hard way" she remarked folding her arms as she stood in front of her.
"Do you realize the tragedy you caused me yesterday" she added crossing her arms.
"So what, I killed your men it is not a big deal. You have killed all the guards in the castle" Bella replied knowing she would be provoked by it if she claimed killing her Rogues were a simple thing.
"You killed hundred of my men and if that wasn't enough, that good for nothing also took down another fifty of my men. You caused me a hundred and fifty men Bella" she yelled at her but Bella could only hear that someone else had helped her but who could that be.
'Could it be Coast' she thought to herself.
"Who exactly?" She asked.
"Don't act like you didn't plan this with Lucian" Adeline stated.
"Lucian" Bella uttered, it definitely made sense that it was him, he must have chased her to make sure that she was okay and that was how he ended up killing another fifty of their men.
"Is he okay?" She asked instead.
"What silly question is that, do you think I will keep him alive after what he pulled. He has already signed his death contract, he would pay for what he had done" Adeline answered.
The present tense she used in referring to Lucian was enough for Bella to know that he was still alive and she could save him again that's if he was being held in the dungeon.
"Oh" Bella nodded claiming she was interested in that.
"Do you even realize what you have cost me" she questioned.
"I should be asking you the same thing, do you realize what you have cost me" Bella asked back. Adeline had taken everything from her, her mate, her friends, her pack, everything.
"You really have some nerves talking back to me, if it isn't for my son then you wouldn't be alive. I don't know why he is so obsessed with you and won't let me deal with you the way I had intended" she let out frustrated that Almano was always in her way when it got to Bella. It made it difficult for her to deal with Bella all because she didn't want to hurt him. She could taught Bella a thing or two that would cause her never to go against her, she wouldn't have dared to kill her men if she knew she could be punished or killed. She did that because she was sure no one would harm her because of Almano, she was using him.
"I don't know, why don't you ask him. Or perhaps you should ask yourself how you raised a son like him who is obsessed with his brother's mate" Bella voiced out not holding back any of her words.
"Your son is a pathetic loser" she added and received a slap from Adeline.
"I have tolerated you enough but I will no more do that" Adeline warned.
"Why, does it hurt to hear it those words about your son" Bella mocked.
"My son is the Alpha of this pack, you will give him the respect that he deserves" Adeline demanded, she may be the Luna but she was bound to respect the Alpha.
"What stupid respect, your son is not the Alpha of this pack and we both know it, the true Alpha is still alive and as far as he is alive your son is bearing a title that is baseless. The people have not accepted him, they despise him and it will only take a matter of time before they turned their backs on him. Did you think you were going to come into this pack, poison my mate, turn him into a feral beast, make your son the Alpha and everything will work out for you. You don't know what is coming for you Adeline" Bella disclosed to her making sure that she heard each word she said.
"And what is that?
Is it you, are you the one coming for me. Should I be scared about it, you are a Luna without her powers, you are just weak and defenseless and unable to do anything.
And your mate Coast, he is just the same, he is in the palm of my hand just like you and when I choose to dispose of him. I can do that without anyone asking any questions" Adeline answered.
"You really don't understand what I am saying, what is coming for you, you cannot escape it. You may plead and beg but no one will listen to you and in the end you would be devoured" Bella stated but Adeline just laughed at her words, they were like baseless threats ti her.
"Face it Bella, I have won and you have lost. I finally got the revenge I waited for, for years" she stated.
"Did you really get your revenge though, was this whole plan to make your pathetic son the Alpha of this pack. Let me tell you something, your son is nothing compared to Coast and you know that, that is why you are always protecting him like a little boy. You know that if Coast had the chance then he would snap the bones of Almano to pieces and there would be nothing left off him and not you nor your men would be able to save him" Bella warned her.
Adeline was boiling deep down, all that Bella said was true and that Almano was nothing compared to Coast, she knew that the moment he came back with such a huge wound in his chest. Coast could have killed him and taken his heart out if he weren't lucky.
"The same goes to you Adeline, Coast would not hold back in killing the mistress of his late father" Bella spat.
"Mistress, I will show you what a mistress can do" she stated and grabbed Bella by the hair dragging her out of the room, out of the castle and straight towards the bunker where Coast was.
"What are you doing?" Bella asked as she watched her open the hatch taking her into the bunker.
"Showing you that you cannot disrespect me and remain alive to see another day" she answered.
Hidden so well in the darkness, was Coast with his bright red eyes, When Bella saw him she was so terrified that her hands began to shake. Adeline dragged her close to him before she move back to watch what would happen.
A growl escaped Coast's wolf as he moved closer, Bella was terrified, the last time she went to him, he couldn't recognize her and hurt he. She believed it was still the same case otherwise why would he growl at her if he knew she was his mate.
Coast moved closer to her until he began to circle her like a predator circling his prey, he growled and snarled at her at each interval.
"Coast, it's me Bella" She tried to jog his memory into remembering her but it felt like she was wasting her time.
She picked up herself to run away from him by hiding behind a table but Coast picked it up right before her very eyes and smashed it to the ground. She curled herself up like a ball looking into his terrifying red eyes,
"Coast, please hear me out.
It's me, your mate Bella" she said again but it fell on deaf ears.
Almano heard of what had happened and he quickly ran to the bunker to stop his mother, he had warned Bella not to annoy his mother off but she wouldn't listen to him and did it anyways.
"Mother, what have you done?" He let out in a frenzy seeing Bella in front of Coast looking completely terrified.
"It is high time she realize that I am not to be messed with, I am sick and tired of that child challenging me and trampling on me like I am nothing. How dare she call me a mistress when I had spared her life all these while" Adeline muttered.
"Mother how can you do this to me?. You know Coast is not himself and would most definitely kill her. Do you want the woman I love to die before my very eyes" He asked her.
"How long is she going to treat you like thrash, she has rejected you countless times no matter how many times you try to appeal to her. She doesn't want you Almano, why can't you see that.
If you cannot watch her die then leave, Iwould like to watch a spectacle like this where Coast would end up killing his mate" she informed him as she smiled watching the scene in front of her, Bella was so scared that it soothed her mind just seeing her like that. A few minutes ago she was talking back to her and now her lips were shut in the face of danger.
"I am sick and tired of this" Almano said moving forward to help Bella but Adeline grabbed his hand.
"She is already lost to you, there is nothing you can do to save her. She is going to be dead soon" she stated trying to stop him.
"I am not going to let that happen, not when I am alive" he voiced out aiming to help Bella when Coast suddenly changed preys and turned to him, he gave him a loud roar like a warning causing Almano to stand still. He knew he was no match for Coast much less now that all he cared about was his instinct to kill. The chances of him saving Bella was very slim and it seemed like Coast was bent on killing her.
"Please don't kill me" Bella begged Coast as tears rolled out of her eyes, if she knew that she was going to be killed by her mate in such a manner then she would have killed herself before. She didn't want Coast to bear such burden, she looked at him as she kept her hand on her stomach protecting her child.
"Fascinating" Adeline commented understanding what Bella just did.
"She is pregnant" she whispered to Almano.
"Pregnant" he echoed back.
"Now he would have to kill both the mother and the child" she added.
"Coast please I am begging me, please don't harm me. Please don't harm our child.
Please hear me out and come back to me" Bella pleaded and closed her eyes to not watch his dreadful eyes, all she could hear was his snares around her.
"Please don't harm our child" she muttered again.
"He is finally going to kill her" Adeline giggled as she watched Coast raise his claws up but instead he grabbed the chains on his neck. He let out a growl to the sky before he grew bigger and the chains on his neck broke due to his enormous size.
Bella opened her eyes hearing the sound of chains falling and his deep growl, he was directly in front of her. She took a deep breath embracing death before her when she watched him leap right above her until he was in front of Almano.
"Impossible" Adeline uttered shocked by what she just saw.
