I LOOKED UP at the large building in front of me. I took off my sunglasses and slightly glanced at the indicated names of the company in front of me, Del'Torre Corporation.
I didn't spare the beauty and modernity of its workmanship. I can say they are very successful in the field of business. Not because he is famous but because of the extent of the business his family has.
I winced when I heard my cellphone ring in my pocket.
"Where the hell are you?!" I heard a loud voice to me as I answered the call.
I brushed up my hair and rolled my eyes before I speak. "Already here," I said reluctantly.
"Good." Then he turned off the call. Again I blew a violent air into my chest before stepping my feet inside the building.
"Good morning, Ma'am! How can I help you?" a receptionist greeted me with a wide smile.
"I was about to meet Mr. Rexon Del'Torre?" I politely answer before smiling. But her smile faded from her lips before she looked at me from head to toe.
"Ah, what's your name, please?" she asked again and dropped her attention to the monitor.
"Cherry Mae Banaag," I answered.
"Just wait a second, Ma'am." Then she held the cordless phone and dialed.
When she dropped the call, she returned to me with a wide smile. "He's on the 25th floor, room 15."
"Thank you." Then I turned my back to enter the elevator.
I couldn't help but glance at the entirety of the building. The whole glass wall was imposing. And the two grand staircases showed how elegant the building was. A large frame hanging on the wall in front of the stairs grabbed more attention for the guests.
I took a glimpse of their photos. And I can say they were perfectly looking together. Dawzon and Rexon were really handsome. No doubt about it. And their parents, who were sitting on the couch, have the aura and power.
Dawzon was the kind of man every girl dreamed about. Even if he doesn't look at you, you definitely gave him a second glance. His jaw was set firmly, and his lips were so expressive that they will leave you dumbfounded. He was tall, dark, and handsome.
I shifted my gaze to Rexon. Like Dawzon, he will not be defeated by the beautifying guy. As my eyes traveled the length of him, I gulped. With his effortless smile, this guy has captivated the heart of the sea. I closed my eyes sharply and shook my head.
"Not bad either," I said as I entered the elevator. When I came out, I was so overwhelmed by the size of this floor. I wasted no time and searched Rexon's room.
My feet were numb when I reached the door. I put some air in my chest before I hit the buzzer. I was deliberately shocked by the man who opened the door for me.
"Cherry!" Jeff immediately smiled broadly at me as he gently kissed me on the cheek, which I couldn't avoid.
I also didn't move immediately because of the suddenness. I also swallowed hard when I saw Rexon sitting on the couch staring at me.
"Please, come in!" He eased the door open.
Reluctantly, I entered with great nervousness. Jeff was at my side while holding my elbow closer to where Rexon was. I also notice that his eyebrows meet mine.
"G-good morning," I uttered.
"You're late!" he said coldly.
"Hey, easy. We're leaving at 10 a.m., aren't we?" I could still hear Jeff's slight laugh at Rexon.
He did not bother to answer but stood up without warning to go to another room and, without saying a word, slammed the door close.
I folded my palms because of what he did.
"Sit down first," Jeff said to me.
I smiled slightly after glancing at the member of the band, Zach and Skye, at the mini bar.
"I'm sorry about Rex. He's always have a hot-temper," Jeff said, and he took his seat.
I barely nodded at him and sat quietly in front of him. I just kept quiet while we waited for Rexon to come out.
I have a moment to look around and check his suite. I can't help but think how much would it cost to rent a room like this? It is definitely expensive to stay here, even for a single night.
"Cherry, right? How old are you?" Skye, who was simply seated on the couch across from me, gave me a bright grin.
"I'm 23." I gave him a shy smile.
"Hmm, really?" He smiled at me broadly. I wouldn't have noticed, but when he smiles, he has a special effect on others. I couldn't help but return my gaze to Zach, who was still sipping from the small bar. He's also handsome. As well as Jeff, who has a jolly personality.
So it's no surprise that they're popular among fans because they're talented singers and because they claim to be attractive, which the fans like.
Jacky immediately entered my mind. If only she knew where I am. She will probably envy right now.
I winced when the door opened, and it spat on the man holding the towel while wiping his wet hair.
He was wearing a plain white shirt and black trousers. His arms were raised in a gesture that blown me away. He has an imposing body and a perfect muscle tone that made my heart pounded fast.
I swallowed and leaned hard on the sofa chair when our eyes met. There was something in his eyes that I couldn't explain. Every time he stares at me like he does right now, I feel like I'm always chasing my heartbeat. I didn't like this feeling, especially for him, so I averted my gaze.
"Did you call Dawzon?" Jeff started to hold the guitar.
He did not answer. Instead, he sat down in the highchair and continued wiping his hair.
"Damn! He can't just leave us alone! How about our projects and our gigs?!" Jeff obviously raised his voice to Rex.
"He didn't answer my calls. Maybe he left the country?" Skye said.
"How about our concert?" Zach interrupted the conversation.
Again, I listened quietly and glanced at Rexon, who pulled the towel over his head and slightly ruffled his wet hair.
"What I'm concerned about is Lara," Rexon answered and snatched the bottle of wine from Zach.
Even though I didn't like it, the way he ran his tongue over his wet lips made me feel as if I was becoming drunk to it.
