Outside the restaurant, the cold wind blew, and in an instant, David's warmth dispelled the chill. Warm, and very comfortable.
Ella pursed her lips and asked. "Prepare for what?"
David let out a small laugh and said. "You'll know after going in."
David said as he covered Ella's eyes, guiding her inside. Ella was a bit afraid of the dark, but because she knew that David was by her side, even though there was darkness in front of her eyes, she still felt at ease. Because she couldn't see the way, so she walked quite slowly.
Finally, after estimating the distance, David stopped.
"Arrival before?" Ella asked.
David said. "Yes" once, then said. "I count to three, and you open your eyes."
"OK." Ella agreed, very nervous in her heart.
David paused for a few seconds, then finally removed his hand from Ella's eyes.
Ella obediently obeyed, not opening her eyes and waiting for David to count. He took a deep breath, mumbled a silent count of three, and then spoke. "Open your eyes."
When Ella's eyes opened, orange candlelight entered her eyes. The inside of the restaurant was pitch black, with only the flickering candlelight in front of our eyes. On the table were two candles, a bottle of red wine, and a bouquet of red roses.
David saw Ella surprised, the corners of his mouth curled up, he pulled Ella's hand, looked at her, and said. "Happy Valentine's Day, dear wife. Did you like it?"
Ella, both happy and touched, looked at David and said. "I like it. You surprised me."
Ella said the corners of her mouth curled up, revealing a very beautiful smile. She finished, hugged David, and tiptoed to place a kiss on his lips. David was extremely happy.
The lights in the restaurant are turned on. The waiter walked over, took the candle, and then asked David. "Mr. David, can you serve the food now?"
David nodded. "OK."
A few minutes later, the dishes were brought out, and David chose the menu, but it was all Ella's favorite dishes. Ella felt sweet in her heart. Having a boyfriend who pays attention to such details is as happy as blooming.
As soon as the last dish was served, very quickly, another waiter pushed the food cart to their table. On the food truck was a small cake, just enough for two people to eat. Above is her favorite cherry. Ella's heart fluttered slightly.
A second later, she heard the waiter put the cake on the table, say. "This cake is a gift for our Valentine, wish you a happy meal."
This is a surprise meal David gave her. He wants her to have a memorable Valentine's Day.
Ella curled her lips, her eyes seemed to contain a sky full of stars.
After the meal, they left the restaurant together. Because they ate too much, the two of them went for a walk.
They walked hand in hand in the snow, walking for almost half an hour, the snow was getting heavier and heavier. Ella couldn't stand the cold, looked at David, and said. "Let's go back to the hotel, I'm cold."
David's expression immediately turned serious, and he reached out and touched her forehead. "Are you uncomfortable or have a fever?"
"No. I just feel cold."
David hurriedly led Ella back to the hotel. He said as he walked. "I have prepared cold medicine, you should take two tablets to prevent."
David is a caring man, skiing makes it easy to catch a cold, so he brought some medicine.
Back at the hotel, on the way back to their room, Ella saw several couples with towels walking outside.
Ella couldn't help but be curious. "Where are they going?"
David said. "It's cold, maybe they go to the hot springs."
Ella was stunned. "Hot waterfall? Are there hot springs here too?"
"Of course yes. Would you like to go to the hot springs with me?" David suggested.
"I... I didn't bring a swimsuit." Ella forced a smile, her face dodging.
David looked at her, he stretched out his hand and grabbed her shoulder, smiling slyly. "So, let's go back to our room and shower."
Ella is shocked. She found David's smile very dark. Her mood was extremely low and anxious.
The room that David rented was a VIP room, very large, and fully equipped, with a living room, dining room, and reading room. After returning to their room, Ella dared not go upstairs, even if the bedroom was upstairs. She was a bit scared. She took off her shoes and ran over to sit on the sofa, turning on the TV.
David walked behind and saw Ella sitting on the sofa watching TV, couldn't help but wonder in his heart. "Ella, what are you doing?" His voice was slow and calm, there was undisguised amusement in his eyes like he was laughing at her shyness.
Ella said without looking at David. "I watch TV. There's a variety show tonight, I'd love to see..."
David's smile deepened. "Will you sit here all night watching a variety show?"
Ella was speechless.
David looked at her, his smile fading, his voice low and hoarse. "Today is Valentine's Day, you didn't forget, did you?"
Ella pursed her lips and shook her head.
David looked at Ella passionately, suddenly he took a step forward, put his arm around her waist, and forcefully pulled her into his lap, her body pressed against his.
David looked her in the eye, continuing to ask. "We're husband and wife, aren't we?"
Ella nodded. "Yes."
Hearing that, David finally burst out laughing. He lowered his head and gently kissed her on the lips. "Then, I'll go upstairs to shower first." After saying that, he let go of Ella and went upstairs. Very happy mood.
But Ella's heart beat so fast, that she sat on the sofa. What should she do now? She was so tense, that her heart felt like it was going to jump out of her chest. David's last sentence is too obvious. They are husband and wife, and sex is normal. It's not that she doesn't want to, it's just... she's not ready yet. She is afraid of pain.
Ella rose from her seat and paced the living room. Her gaze fell on the red wine bottle in the glass case. If she drinks alcohol, she will have more courage. So she walks over to the glass case and grabs a bottle of wine and a glass.
After showering, David walked down the stairs to find Ella sitting on the sofa, drinking. The bottle of wine next to her was empty.
He knelt on one knee on the sofa, lifted Ella's face, and saw her little red face. The corners of David's eyes twitched. He understood that the reason she drank was to have more courage.
Ella took the glass of wine, looked up at David, and spoke in a drunken voice. "David, are you done showering?"
David frowned. "You are drunk?"
Ella shook her head, glancing at him. "No. I'm not drunk." Her words contradict her actions.
She stood up from the sofa. "I took a bath."
Ella pushed David away, wobbling up the stairs. Her mind was dizzy, her body was hot.
