"Connor." This time, Alina's voice was full of anger.
Before Connor could speak, Alina burst into tears. "I was trying to help you. How can you say something like that? Don't you think you're really out of line?"
"I'm out of line? Think about how far you've gone, OK?" Connor actually laughed due to his anger.
"Did Annette say something about me? Why else would you say that about me? I'm nothing but a thorn in your eyes, so you regard everything that I say as wrong. You don't want the woman you love to suffer. Well, do I deserve to suffer? You disappoint me so much."
Connor said coldly, "Please stay disappointed forever. Never try to meddle with my life ever again. I want nothing to do with you for the rest of my life. Also, from now on, don't bother me with your things, because none of them has anything to do with me."
After he finished speaking, he hung up the phone.
Alina choked back her sadness and threw the phone away, smiling.
She thought, 'No matter how angry Connor is, what can he do to me anyway?
As long as I insist that I did it out of good intentions, even the Moon Goddess can do nothing about me.
Connor wants to stay away from me? He wishes!

Connor was about to get into his car when Jessica's car pulled up opposite his.
Jessica got out of the car and looked at him with a smile on her face. She said, "Alpha Connor, I didn't expect to see you here."

Connor's face went gloomy when he heard Jessica's words. Unfortunately, Jessica was not good at observing people's expressions.
"Annette is having an affair with my brother," Jessica said maliciously.
"Shut up!" Connor scolded, startling Jessica.
Then she calmed down. After all, his wife cheated on him. How could he not be mad?
"It's true. I heard them on the rooftop of our place the other day."
Connor took a step forward and harshly grabbed Jessica's shoulder, causing her to scream in pain. She said, "You're hurting me!"
"One more word about Annette, and I'll ruin your face."
Jessica instantly raised her hands to cover her face, looking at Connor in horror.
"If you dare to slander my wife again, I will make sure you know that you are doomed because of your loose lips."
After he finished speaking, he forcefully pushed her to the ground.
Jessica screamed in pain but dared not resist. She could only watch helplessly as Connor got into the car and drove away.
She clenched her fists, feeling indignant, and stood up to go home.
When she went to the second floor, she was surprised to find that there was no one at Annette's doorstep. Without hesitation, she pushed open the door and rushed into Annette's room.
Annette, not in a good mood, was sitting on the edge of the bed in a daze.
Annette looked back at Jessica at the loud opening of the door.
"Don't you knock before you enter someone's room?"
"This is my home."
"Is it? I guess I'll have to take Lance's advice this morning and be the second daughter of the Black Thorn Pack."
"Don't you dare!" Jessica walked over to Annette, furious at the thought that she had just been pushed to the ground by Connor.
"Annette, you bitch! Let me tell you something. I will expose your affair with Austin to everyone. I will make sure that you stay humiliated and get pointed at for the rest of your life."
Annette sneered, "Go ahead."
"Do you think I dare not to do that?"
Annette stood up and walked slowly around the room. Then she turned back to look at Jessica.
"If you dare, go ahead and slander your brother. Do you know how to run a company? Lance can't save the Fisher Group anymore. If you destroy Austin, you might really want to think about where you're going begging."
"Stop bluffing. I know you're saying that to scare me." Jessica sounded less confident.
"That's why I encouraged you to give it a go," Annette said, curling up her lips. "As long as you're willing to bear the consequences."
After finishing talking, Annette walked towards the door and said, "Now, get out. I do not want to see you."
Jessica felt furious and thought, 'Connor bullied me at the door.
And now, I'm being scolded by Annette.
I am the dignified daughter of the Black Thorn Pack. Why should I suffer such injustice?'
Jessica walked slowly to the door.
Annette thought that Jessica was about to leave, so she automatically took a step back.
Unexpectedly, Jessica quickly pushed Annette to the ground before the latter could react.
Annette covered her abdomen with her hands and cried out in pain.
Jessica grabbed her by the collar.
"Who do you think you are? How dare you teach me? You are just a despicable illegitimate child. Why do you always have to take everything I want? Even if there is any hardship in my life, it is not for you to inflict on me."
As she spoke, she raised her hand, wanting to slap Annette.
Annette's lower abdomen was killing her, and she couldn't fight back whatsoever.
Just as Jessica's hand was a few centimeters away from Annette's face, Dwayne arrived in time and kicked Jessica over to the ground.
Jessica exclaimed in pain, "Help! He wants to kill me!"
Dwayne ignored Jessica's scream and hurriedly came to Annette's side. "Luna, are you OK?"
Annette's face was twisted, and she said with difficulty, "Take me to the hospital now."
Dwayne quickly supported Annette and helped her out of the room.
As soon as she left, Jessica saw a shocking pool of blood where she had been sitting.
Jessica stood up, looked at the blood, frowned, and said to herself, "What's this?"
The servants dared not to move after they arrived and saw the scene.
Before Connor drove to the company, he received Dwayne's call.
When he heard that Annette was bleeding and was on the way to the hospital, he could not calm down.
When he arrived at the hospital, Annette was being examined by a nurse.
He approached nervously, leaned forward, and hugged Annette tightly.
Annette said awkwardly, "Connor, the nurse is here."
Connor let her go and asked anxiously, "How are you feeling?"
Annette was moved to see Connor's worried face. However, what had happened hurt her so much, and she still needed time to recover from the shadow bought by Sharon and the Black Thorn Pack. Therefore, she didn't know that she had forgiven Connor. She said, "My stomach hurts. Why are you here?"
She had just finished speaking when Dwayne walked in with the test results.
Connor had lost his cool and scolded Dwayne, "I asked you to take care of her, and this is how you took care of her?"
Dwayne quickly stepped forward and said, "I'm sorry, Alpha Connor. I went to the bathroom. I didn't expect Jessica to come back and break into the room and hurt Luna Annette."
Annette felt somewhat guilty and said, "Dwayne, you don't have to apologize. It's not your fault."
"I failed to take care of Luna. It's all my fault."
