Axels POV
"Stop Axel please... I'm pregnant" the words I had one day hoped to hear but not from her. I pulled my fingers from her before looking up to see tears falling down her face.
"You would use a line like that to get out of what you've done. If that's what you think then your more stupid than I thought" I didn't believe her, everything that had ever come out of her mouth had been filthy deceitful lies. Picking up the whip I slammed it back into her. Vanessa's screams echoed off the walls as I whipped her again.
"I... I'm not lying Axel please. The pup is yours"
"It's pretty fucking convenient though isn't it. You had me to yourself all fucking night and never said a word, yet now you expect me to take what you say as truth? Spare me your shit Vanessa" rage was building within me, my blood boiling, my temperature rising, if I lost control of my element now then this entire pack house would be burnt to nothing but ash. That was something I couldn't let happen. Between what Vanessa had done and my wolf fighting me from the inside I was going insane. Thor was whimpering as he watched through my eyes me hurt the woman, he thought was his mate. It was taking a lot of strength to keep him from coming forward.
"I swear Axel I didn't know... I didn't know" her breathing became ragged the harder she cried. I was torn, we had slept together so she could have fallen pregnant during those couple of times, I mean it only takes once does it not. It's not like I stopped to ask if she was on any form of birth control. I certainly didn't wrap up, though looking back on it now, it was just another thing to add to the 'I wish I would have' pile.
Leaving Vanessa hanging from the ceiling I stormed out of the room only to come back minutes later with a vile of wolfsbane. I knew that if she was pregnant wolfsbane in small doses wouldn't harm the pup so it would be ok. Re-entering the interrogation room Vanessa was still crying, her eyes all red and puffy, snot running down her face. How I thought she was good looking was beyond me, as if noticing for the first time how unattractive she truly was unlike Athena, who was beautiful not only on the outside but the inside.
"Axel ... no... no please Axel stop the pup please don't do this" ignoring her screams I plunged the needle into her neck. The wolfsbane was low enough in dosage that it would make Vanessa weak yet the pup if there is one will remain unharmed.
Unclipping the chains that secured Vanessa to the ceiling I let her fall to ground. Picking up the T-shirt from the bench I pulled it over her head. It wasn't very long but was long enough to cover all her important bits. Placing a pair of cuffs around her wrists was a precaution in case this was another lie she had conjured just to get out. Opening the door I pushed Vanessa out, placing my hand on her lower back I continued to push her until we were outside the pack house where my car was waiting. Once unlocked I shoved Vanessa into the passenger seat before taking a seat behind the wheel.
The drive to the hospital took longer than expected as I didn't know where I was going, however when we arrived there was a nurse waiting for us which was a good thing as Vanessa had now got blood all over my new car seat. I followed Vanessa and the nurse into a private room and gave the nurse instructions not to talk to Vanessa. If she had a problem with my instructions, then she could call her Alpha. Vanessa laid on the bed as the nurse patched up her back enough to prevent the blood leaking onto the floor before placing a blanket over her legs and pulling Vanessa's top just under her breasts to expose her abdomen. A doctor entered the room after addressing herself as Dr Jones one of the maternity doctors. She took a seat at the machine beside Vanessa offering her a small smile though a growl from me and her eyes instantly looked away.
"Ok, I'm going to place this gel on her stomach and if there is a pup in there, we will see it. Though I must warn you if we don't see anything I may not be that she isn't pregnant but that its simply to early to tell. Before we begin shall I call you Alpha or? "
"Axel is fine. I don't take over from my father for another few months. Sorry about all this doc but I need to know"
"It's ok, Alpha Jake filled me in on a few details, it's better to find out now before... well you know" I just nodded in response.
The doctors squirted the gel onto Vanessa's stomach before placing a probe on top. Vanessa winced at the pressure in which the doctor applied but I didn't care if she was in pain, had she been my true mate then seeing her in pain would have hurt me, but I felt nothing. If I found out she had been lying I'd make her feel all the pain her body would physically allow her death wouldn't be quick by any means.
"Right so if you can see here Axel, that is the amniotic sac. And... there is your pup. Looks relatively small so I would say only a couple of weeks gestation. As your both of Alpha blood I should warn you her pregnancy won't last as long as the normal she-wolf. I'd expect her to be due in roughly four to six months, but I would need to do regular check-ups to check the pup's progression. If you have time for me to do blood samples now, then great otherwise I can come to the pack house tomorrow morning"
"Tomorrow so I can speak with her parents. As you are aware she's in serious trouble for what she has done"
"I am sorry your fated mate was taken away. But now you have a pup to fight for, and I'm sure he or she will be enough for you to handle as a single parent" cutting the doctor off I stood pulling Vanessa to her feet pushing her towards the door that would lead us out the room. I had a lot of things to think about. I didn't want Vanessa that I was damn sure of not that it mattered because the moment the pup was born it would be taken from her and she would meet her end. This pup though, could I love it knowing it was conceived out of deception? I wasn't opposed to having a pup with someone that wasn't my mate, I mean if it happened it happened. I'd just have to grow a pair and deal with it, but this woman was evil and what if her traits were passed along.
Back at the pack house Vanessa was secured back into the hidden room where she couldn't cause herself any harm. The only harm I wanted her to get was what I gave her. I had called Alpha Jake on the way back asking him to meet me in his office as there were now a few things we would need to discuss. This wasn't going to be an easy conversation to have, and I'd half expected either Alpha Jake or Luna Angel to smack me, maybe even both but I got myself into this situation, so I needed to get myself out of it.

"At the end of the day Axel it's your decision to make. Personally, I feel the pup shouldn't suffer because of the actions of its parents. I feel he or she deserves a chance. And before any of you jump down my throat no, I'm not saying Vanessa should be around to raise the pup because Axel will with our help. As much as it pains me to say, Vanessa has made her bed and I'm afraid she must now lie in it. Once the pup is here regardless of whether or not Axel raises the pup of places it in the orphanage, Vanessa will be sentenced. I couldn't stop it even if I wanted to because as your aware it goes against every law our council holds" Luna Angel hadn't reacted remotely like I had expected her to. She acted like a true Luna, she was able to separate her feelings and kept them well in check regarding her daughter and myself, speaking up to protect the pup. The longer I sat here the more the idea of being a father sank in. Although it scared me, I knew I could do it especially with my fated mates by my side, that's if they still want me when they find out.
