Erika’s POV
I looked up and spotted Emma at first sight. Her face darkened the instant she saw me.
Yes, I came here deliberately late. Emma just saw the hope of surviving today and I dashed her hope immediately.
I walked towards her slowly with my chin high.
As I walked closer, she gritted her teeth and her hands were shaking. She must also know that her life would end today.
She had betrayed the pack and she still challenged me for the Luna position. That was simply stupid.
Derek stood up and announced that the challenge began. When he sat down, he blinked at me with a smile on his face.
I held back a smile and then stared at Emma. I wouldn’t have suffered so much if not for her. Now it was her turn to suffer. I would let her die in great despair and misery.
I didn’t summon any weapons because I wanted to torture her with my bare hands. I charged toward her and punched her directly in the face. She realized danger was coming but she couldn’t do anything.
I hit her on her face and she couldn’t even avoid it. Immediately, her face was swollen and her features were all distorted. Her nose began to bleed.
A lot of people were cheering for me while loud boos for Emma could also be heard from the audience.
“Ouch!” Emma screamed with pain. She fell to the ground after my one punch and glared at me with burning hatred in her eyes. I didn’t understand where the hatred came from. Did she hate me simply because she was the ex-girlfriend of my mate?
You are a pussy. I mind-linked her with a sneer, trying to provoke her. I liked to make her furious while she was unable to do anything about it.
She held her face with one hand and struggled to get up. She stumbled as she said, “Call me whatever you like. Derek lost his virginity to me.”
She wiped away the blood on her face and gave me a triumphant smile.
I had to admit, what she said annoyed me. He marked me immediately after we had sex and then I fell into a deep sleep. We hadn’t talked about it and I knew possibly he was not a virgin. As a handsome and strong Alpha, it was not surprising to know that he had sex before. However, to hear it from his ex-girlfriend was another thing.
I was instantly furious at her and Derek. I turned to look at Derek in the audience and shot him a glare. Confused by my look, he asked me through mind-link.

I didn’t reply to him and turned to look at Emma. She probably also knew that she couldn’t survive this day, so she tried her best to drive a wedge between us. Although I knew what she was up to, I still fell for it. I was simply furious!
I ran to her and kicked her in her temple. Being kicked hard by me, she was sent flying ten inches away. She fell to the ground and began to vomit blood and tremble.
I walked over slowly and looked down at her with disdain.

She tried to stand up. This time she failed. But she still kept that obnoxious smile on her face.
“Don’t be angry. You have everything I want. You are his mate. You are the Luna. You can teach girls to fight while I was not even allowed to step into the training ground when I was his girlfriend. That’s just unfair to me. But you can’t set the clock back and change the fact that I’m the girl he had sex for the first time with,” she said with a crooked smile.
I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists. But I didn’t summon any weapons. As I said before, I would kill her with my bare hands.
However, as I ran close to her and was about to punch her, I was surrounded by a thick mist and couldn’t see anything. What was happening? What the hell did she do?
I began to cough violently and my eyes stung. The next second, I could feel a large animal looming over me. I struggled to open my eyes to see what was going on. Suddenly, I felt a hard kick on my back. I was kicked out of the mist and fell to the ground.
In the mist, a wolf walked out.
So Emma suddenly shifted into wolf form and growled at me although she was just badly injured. How was that possible?
I looked up at her and discovered that her eyes were scarlet. Her wolf looked insane.
I realized that she must take some potion. It must be something that could strengthen a wolf greatly in a short time. The most important rule about challenges was that any potion that could strengthen the body was strictly forbidden. She disobeyed the most important rule! I didn’t know what the side effects were. But it seemed that Emma had lost her mind. She was indeed crazy after taking the forbidden potion.
She charged toward me at a very fast speed and wanted to slap me in the face. I rolled on the ground and avoided the first attack. But she kept attacking me and seemed determined to kill me as quickly as possible.
The audience began to gossip. But I had no time to pay attention to what they were talking about. I kept rolling on the ground and my head was dizzy.
Do you need me to stop the challenge? Derek asked me through mind-link. Emma disobeyed the rule and the challenge could be stopped at any time.
No need. I answered him and then stopped myself. I would kill her today no matter what. I clenched my fist and summoned a spear. She stooped so low and all I wanted now was to kill her as quickly as possible. As her wolf attempted to slap me for another time, I threw the spear at her leg and it pierced right through her leg.
Emma’s wolf collapsed on the ground and growled painfully, her leg bleeding heavily. Soon she lay in a pool of blood.
I stood up, dusted myself off, and walked toward her. My white dress had been smeared. Her wolf glared at me and growled, but it was unable to give me another blow.
