Between Four of Us

Chapter 209

Ch. 209 / 250 Jun 22, 2025

When the car pulled to a stop, Jade stepped out and immediately turned in a slow circle, taking in every detail of the property. The men gave her space, watching her reaction with a mix of amusement and satisfaction.

“Come on,” Milan said after a moment, motioning toward the front door. “There’s more to see.”

The entryway was just as grand as the exterior, with a high ceiling, a massive crystal chandelier, and a sweeping staircase that curved gracefully to the second floor. The walls were painted a soft ivory, and the floors were polished marble that gleamed under the light.

Jade’s eyes widened as she wandered further into the house, her footsteps echoing in the open space. “This is incredible,” she murmured, running her fingers along the smooth banister of the staircase. “It’s like a dream.”

“Wait until you see your room,” Enzo said, his tone teasing.

“My room?” Jade turned to him, raising an eyebrow.

“Your room, our room—whatever you want to call it,” Thiago said with a laugh. “We made sure it’s perfect for you.”

Milan led the way upstairs, stopping in front of a set of double doors. He pushed them open, revealing a massive bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows that offered a breathtaking view of the backyard. The room was furnished with a king-sized bed, a plush seating area, and a walk-in closet that was larger than Jade’s old apartment.

“Holy… This is insane,” Jade said, stepping inside and turning in awe. “It’s beautiful.”

Milan crossed his arms, leaning casually against the doorframe. “You’ll be comfortable here. That’s all that matters.”

Enzo stepped past him, gesturing toward the closet. “And you’ll finally have enough space for all the clothes Mia keeps making you buy.”

Jade laughed, her cheeks flushing. “I don’t even know how to thank you guys for this. It’s… overwhelming.”

Thiago walked up behind her, placing a hand on her shoulder. “You don’t have to thank us, Jade. You’re part of this now. This is your home as much as it is ours.”

She turned to look at him, her heart swelling with gratitude. “Thank you,” she said softly, looking at each of them in turn. “Really.”

As the tour continued, Jade’s excitement grew. She marveled at the state-of-the-art kitchen, the cozy home theater, and the spacious library filled with towering shelves just waiting to be stocked with books. But it was the backyard that truly stole her breath.

The pool was enormous, with a waterfall feature and a sunken seating area in the shallow end. A fire pit sat nearby, surrounded by comfortable outdoor furniture. Beyond the pool was a lush garden with winding paths, colorful flowers, and a small gazebo tucked into the corner.

“This is unreal,” Jade said, stepping onto the patio. “You didn’t just buy a house—you bought a resort.”

Thiago laughed, throwing an arm around her shoulders. “We don’t do things halfway, Jade. You should know that by now.”

Enzo smirked, leaning against the railing. “You’re already picturing how you’re going to decorate, aren’t you?”

Jade’s eyes lit up. “Absolutely. I have so many ideas. Curtains, rugs, throw pillows—this place has so much potential.”

“Whatever you want, it’s yours,” Milan said simply. “Consider it your project.”

Jade beamed, her mind already racing with possibilities. “You guys are going to regret saying that. I’m about to go full interior designer mode.”

Thiago grinned. “As long as you don’t turn my man cave into a pink palace, we’re good.”

“No promises,” Jade teased, earning a round of laughter.
