Between Four of Us

Chapter 206

Ch. 206 / 250 Jun 22, 2025

The sun was shining brightly over the sparkling ocean, the rhythmic sound of waves crashing against the shore creating a peaceful melody. The sand was warm beneath Jade’s feet as she walked along the beach, her flowy sundress swaying in the gentle breeze. It was a perfect day, one she thought was just a casual outing with Milan, Enzo, and Thiago.

“Are you sure this isn’t too much?” Jade asked, glancing over her shoulder at the three men walking slightly behind her.

Thiago smirked, his hands in his pockets. “You’re talking to us. Everything we do is too much.”

Enzo chuckled, adjusting the sunglasses perched on his nose. “Just enjoy it, Jade. It’s not every day you get a private beach all to yourself.”

Milan remained silent, a small, unreadable smile on his face as he walked beside her, his gaze fixed on the horizon. Jade raised an eyebrow at his unusual quietness but brushed it off, focusing instead on the breathtaking view in front of her.

As they reached a secluded area of the beach, Jade noticed something unusual. A canopy draped in sheer white fabric stood ahead, its posts adorned with cascading flowers. Beneath it was a small table set with champagne and an array of desserts. Soft music played in the background, carried by the breeze.

“What is this?” Jade asked, turning to them with wide eyes.

Thiago grinned, stepping forward and gesturing dramatically. “Welcome to your surprise. Do you like it?”

“It’s… beautiful,” she said, her voice soft. “But what’s the occasion?”

Enzo exchanged a look with Milan, who gave a subtle nod. “Let’s just say we wanted to do something special for you,” Enzo said, his voice smooth.

Jade hesitated, her brows furrowing slightly. “You guys are being suspiciously nice. What’s going on?”

Thiago laughed, taking her hand and leading her toward the canopy. “Can’t a man spoil the woman he cares about without being accused of ulterior motives?”

She rolled her eyes playfully but allowed herself to be guided. Once under the canopy, the three men stood in front of her, their expressions shifting from playful to serious. Milan stepped forward, his piercing blue eyes locking onto hers.

“Jade,” he began, his voice steady and calm. “You’ve been through so much with us. More than anyone should have to endure.”

Enzo continued, his tone softer than usual. “But through it all, you’ve stood by us. You’ve shown strength, resilience, and a heart that we can’t imagine living without.”

Thiago chimed in, his usual mischievous grin replaced with sincerity. “You’ve become more than just someone we care about. You’re family. You’re everything.”

Jade’s heart raced, her breath catching as she looked between them. “What are you saying?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Milan reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black velvet box. He opened it, revealing a stunning marquise-cut diamond ring, its intricate design catching the sunlight and casting tiny rainbows. The stone was massive, yet elegant, and Jade couldn’t take her eyes off it.

“We’re saying,” Milan said, his voice unwavering, “that we want you to be ours. Not just in name, not just for now, but forever.”

Jade’s eyes widened, her hand flying to her mouth as tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. “Are you… are you asking me to marry you?”

Enzo stepped forward, his smile warm. “Not just one of us. All of us. Together, as we’ve always been.”

Thiago reached for her other hand, his touch gentle. “We know it’s unconventional, Jade. But nothing about us has ever been traditional. What we feel for you is real, and we want to spend the rest of our lives making you as happy as you’ve made us.”

Jade’s legs felt like jelly, and she swayed slightly as the weight of their words settled over her. “You’re serious,” she said, her voice trembling.

“As serious as we’ve ever been,” Milan replied, his tone firm but tender. He held the ring out toward her. “This is your choice, Jade. There’s no pressure. But if you feel even half of what we feel for you, then say yes.”

Tears spilled over her cheeks as she looked at each of them in turn. Milan, steady and protective. Enzo, charming and intense. Thiago, warm and playful. Each of them had stolen her heart in different ways, and together, they had become her entire world.

“Yes,” she whispered, her voice breaking. Then louder, with more certainty, “Yes. I’ll marry you.”

A cheer erupted from Thiago as he pulled her into a tight hug, lifting her off the ground and spinning her around. “You’re ours now,” he said, his grin infectious.

Enzo took her hands as Thiago set her down, leaning in to kiss her gently. “You’ve made us the happiest men alive,” he murmured.
