Between Four of Us

Chapter 238

Ch. 238 / 250 Jun 22, 2025

The next few days were a blur of activity. Jade and Mia spent hours scouring the internet for venues, finally landing on a picturesque garden estate on the outskirts of the city. The space was breathtaking, with sprawling lawns, blooming flowers, and twinkling fairy lights strung through the trees.

When Jade showed the venue to the men, they were more than supportive. Milan nodded approvingly, saying, “It’s perfect. Classic, elegant—just like you.”

Thiago grinned. “It’s got that fairytale vibe you love.”

Even Enzo, usually reserved, offered a rare smile. “Good choice.”

With the venue secured, Jade turned her attention to the dress. She and Mia spent an entire afternoon visiting bridal shops, trying on gowns that ranged from sleek and modern to extravagantly lacy. In the end, she chose a design that felt uniquely hers—a flowing white gown with delicate lace details and a subtle sparkle that caught the light.

When she showed a photo of the dress to the men, their reactions made her heart swell.

“Stunning,” Milan said, his voice soft but sincere.

“You’re going to be the most beautiful bride,” Thiago added, his grin warm and genuine.

Enzo simply nodded, his dark eyes filled with admiration. “It suits you.”

The days flew by as Jade threw herself into planning. She worked on seating arrangements, flower choices, and even handpicked the menu. The men were involved every step of the way, offering their opinions when asked but ultimately letting her take the lead.

One evening, as she sat in the living room surrounded by fabric samples and centerpiece mock-ups, Milan walked in with a glass of wine for her.

“You’ve been working nonstop,” he said, setting the glass down beside her. “Don’t forget to take a break.”

Jade smiled up at him, touched by his thoughtfulness. “I’m just so excited. This wedding… it’s not just about us getting married. It’s about moving forward. Leaving all the bad stuff behind.”

Milan crouched down beside her, his hand covering hers. “I know. And we’ll make sure it’s everything you’ve dreamed of.”

Thiago and Enzo were equally supportive. Thiago handled most of the logistical details, making sure everything ran smoothly, while Enzo quietly took care of security, ensuring the event would be safe from any threats—especially Vivienne.

“You don’t have to worry about anything,” Enzo told her one afternoon as they reviewed the guest list. “We’ll handle the hard parts. You just focus on being happy.”

Jade nodded, her heart full. “I am happy. More than I thought I could be after everything.”
