LUCIEN’S POV
“I’m sorry but can I send this to my phone?” I asked politely and the plump looking woman, willingly sent it to me after I had told her I was trying to see if my friend was cheating with my girlfriend.
Humans were so easy to fool but despite that, they were loveable creatures who felt compassion for others although they could also be crazy and wicked creatures like Monica.
I left her house and called Zayne.
“I spotted her. Tell my students to stop searching.” I told him.
“I also caught something from a recording I checked. Hey! Professor Lucien’s student!” I heard Zayne call out in the background before he ended the call and I shook my head. How would he address them that way.
We all met up back at the house and played my video first.
“Did Monica ask to meet there? Would Monica really kidnap her? I think we’re accusing the wrong person. Monica is shy, sweet and always clinging to Adria.” Tommy spoke up, and I knew it was all the more reason to be convinced she was the criminal. She was sweet only when she had to pretend.
“No. She looks like a total vixen on the inside! Look at the way she dresses. She’s like a spoiled brat who is so used to getting everything she wants. Who knows if she approached Adria only to this!” Stacy snapped at him, and I didn’t know when I spoke up.
“Exactly!” I replied with so much enthusiasm that they all looked at me. “Adria first met Monica in my house when she came with cookies for her housewarming stuff and for a full week, she only exchanged light greetings with Adria.” I explained and Stacy nodded.
“All of a sudden she started hanging out with Adria and I wondered if I was the only one who found it weird.” Stacy replied, totally thinking the same way.
“I’m not too sure about that. Check this out.” Zayne said, placing his phone on the table in front of us and played the video.
There we saw Adria going to the other street and then he played it twice the normal speed and about two minutes later, a hooded figure went in her direction with a golf club but the hooded figure had really large shoulders like a man’s, and that was probably proof that Monica hadn’t kidnapped her but it wasn’t proof that she hadn’t hired him.
“Maybe she hired this fella.” Stacy shot up and once again I was tempted to reply enthusiastically but I stopped myself.
“Why are you so against, Monica?” Tommy shot at her.
“She’s right. Monica ought to be suspected. If this were to be taken to the cops, Monica would be suspected because she had called Adria out.” Daniel answered coolly and Stacy nodded continuously.
“So we just have to get Monica first.” Zayne concluded, taking his phone.
“Yes, and her expression should be watched carefully. I’m going to kill that bitch if she seriously just popped out of nowhere so she could harm Adria.” Stacy promised but in my mind, I knew I would kill Monica first.

ADRIA’S POV.
I waited for a while, having given hope on trying to free myself. Whoever my kidnapper was had done a really good job of keeping me tied, and just then, I heard footsteps.
My kidnapper was back.
I didn’t know if I was to pretend to sleep or if I was to be awake, but before I could make my decision, the person had already come in.
It was a broad shouldered man who had an awkwardly tiny waist, broad hips and a really small head.
The kidnapper had a really weird figure and I knew he was no ordinary college teen.
“How you doing?” The kidnapper spoke and I went still. Was I hearing right? No, I didn’t think so.
It couldn’t be who I thought it was…
Those were my desperate thoughts but unfortunately for me, it was exactly as I knew it was.
The hood was pulled back and revealed Monica’s nose and lips, and then she took off the cap and threw it onto the table. It landed in the cereal bowl and her hoodie went next, finding its way to a little couch. Then I realized she had worn large shoulders pads, the ones used to play lacrosse.
She pulled it off and wrung out her hair from the low bun she had it in, walked to me and peeled off the tape harshly.
I winced, gasping in pain and breathing a little noisily, then she sat, only in a white camisole.
“Monica?” I asked, in shock, and she sighed, brushing back her hair with her fingers.
“Let’s skip all this, okay?”
“Monica, how could you…?”
“Do I look like the Monica you knew? Get a damned good grip on yourself, girl.” She snapped and I saw it in her eyes. The shy, and sweet Monica who had followed me around was nothing compared to the one staring at me at the moment.
Her eyes were blazing hot with the flames of silent anger and all the features on her face expressed hate for me.
Why… why had she kidnaped me?
“I warned you. I sent you my warnings but you were too dumb to see.” She said, lightly still staring at me with that fixed expression of hate and I blinked hard.
What was she saying?
“I posted those stuff about Lucien on the school site…”
“Lucien? Did you know him before?” I asked, and suddenly she took off her shoe and threw it at me, and it hit my head hard.
“You don’t ask the questions. I do, and you don’t interrupt me.” She snapped, and I felt my head starting to ache. Her shoes had hit me right at the spot she had hit me with whatever it was. “Even after posting all that stuff, and giving you the chance to leave Lucien on your own, you still stuck to him like glue so I’m giving you a second chance. A chance to leave or I’ll make you.” She spat in a low voice and I could see that it was nothing to joke about.
She was serious.
