Jasmine returned home to her husband. Her family wouldn't want her back. Her mother was the architect of her relationship with Patrick when she urged her to break up with Andre because the guy was still a struggling man.
Patrick was made already. He has a secured financial status and would be able to take care of her more than Andre would ever do. And now, she is still the one who says she can't return to her parents home.
She advised her to endure whatever she's going through. Why didn't she say such things back then, to urge her to endure things that Andre will eventually be financially stable one day. She sobbed bitterly.
Patrick isn't going to stop hitting her. Since her parents sent her back, it only meant,he has a free license to keep bullying her and she wouldn't have a place to go to or someone to caution him on her behalf.
“I knew you would come back. You don't have an option but to return to me. Your parents are not capable of questioning or caution me against hitting you however I want. I own you, I bought you with my money…”Patrick mocked.
Jasmine was quiet. She doesn't want to say anything. She cannot predict what he could do to her. But he stood in her way and said “I won't spare you if you step out of this house anymore.
I spent a fortune to marry you. Your insatiable thirst for money and jewelleries made you leave a poor guy and come to me. Now, that you are mine, you would remain so forever, either as free or as imprisoned” he snorted.
“I am your wife and I'm never going to be your prisoner. If you bring another woman into this house, I'll file for a divorce. I won't let you disrespect me to that extent” Jasmine replied and would have walked away but Patrick stopped her.
“Oh, you'll divorce me and return to Andre Torello? That thing wouldn't dare to cross me anymore. He is wise enough not to endanger his life and yours” he threatened and walked away.
Talking about Andre, Jasmine felt guilty the most. She's going to find him and apologise to him. If he would take her back, they can begin again.

When Andre dropped Felix and Jane off, he promised to get in touch as the wedding plans went on. He could come over at any time to have his bike.
As he was alone, Andre lingered, he was conscious of the fact that he was being trailed. Could it be Jack Johnson? He doesn't know what really is going on between him and Camella's father at the moment.
But one thing is certain, he's never going to drive home. He can't possibly lead whoever was trailing him to his house. He cannot endanger the life of his mother for whatever reason.
By next morning, he'll be hiring employees to work in his house. The servants and some bodyguards to protect his mother. He cannot let her work her fingers to bone anymore. She needs relief and a breath of fresh air.
He remembered he was to be at the Wood's mansion for a drink but he cannot lead the trailer there. He must protect the lives of those who are important to him. Against all odds, he drove into a hotel and checked in.
He sent a text to Camella pleading with her that he cannot make it to her dad's invitation, but he promised to make it good. He would come around soon as he was available to.
The next minute, Camella called him on a video call. Reluctantly, he answered his phone “Camella” he called, glancing at the door lock to ensure it was well shut from within.
“Hello baby…” Camella responded and saw him glancing at the door. She squinted, why does she feel he was not at home and his attention was diverted?
“I'll come around one of these days. Just plead with Mr Benson to have me excused tonight” Andre said, shifting his gaze back to the phone. Camella looked beautiful and graceful in her plain dress and roughed hair.
“Sure, I'll inform him. How's Aunt?” She asked, smiling. Her belly is sweet. She felt excited that he called her. It means he has her in his thoughts.
“She's at home but I'm not…” Andre informed and went ahead to tell her he was in a hotel. He felt he was being trailed and he didn't want to lead whoever was following him to his house. His mother's life might be endangered by doing so.
Camella immediately asked him the hotel name and room number.
In the presidential hotel, Alice Torello was seated, her heart stilled and fearless. They can do whatever they like with her, but never will she allow herself to lose her son to anyone else. They wouldn't even let her speak with her son yet.
She was offered drinks but she wouldn't take it. Eventually she saw the door open, two heavily guarded men walked over and behind them was a tall, elegant man whose presence immediately sent a chill down her spine.
He was dressed in a long robe and with him was a woman, beautiful and graceful. She wore long curly hair and a poised presence. She stood up quickly. She recognised them, she saw them hours earlier when they arrived in N.Y.
The Prince and princess of Ashanti Kingdom!
They walked over and stood before Alice Torello. Prince Clifford stared at the woman and smiled, “please take your seat” he said.
He brought his wife to sit next to him as they took the exquisite sofa adjacent to Alice. The couple exchanged glances and stared back at the woman, who had refused to sit down.
“No your Highnesses'. I will just remain standing” Alice replied, not daring to raise her head. She was frightened. She doesn't know what is wrong but she suddenly felt like using the restroom.
She hopes this couple has nothing to do with Andre? But seeing the prince at such close range, she cannot deny the similar features she sees in the prince and her son. There are people she can fight with, but definitely not these royalties.
“Please Mrs Torello, take your seat” Princess Charlotte urged, in a tone of calmness. She then watched as Alice Torello sat down on the edge of the sofa and wouldn't raise her head.
“What can I do for you, your Highnesses'” Alice blurted, her palm sweaty and the air conditioned room suddenly felt suffocating and hot.
“You've done enough, it's time to get rewarded” Prince Clifford announced.
