He needs to talk to her directly. He went to her office and her new secretary informed him that the CEO was in a meeting and didn't want to be disturbed.
By the time he returned, Camella's facial expression had changed to the feisty woman he used to know. He knew he had to tread gently with her at that moment.
“Cam…” Andre began but she interrupted him sharply “Miss Camella Wood please” her eyes filled with grievances.
Andre nodded. She's right. This is official and the relationship shouldn't interfere. He sat down and said”Oh, I'm sorry Miss Wood. I sent you an email and I don't understand your response” he stated.
Camella adjusted herself on her swivel chair and held a pen, rotating it between her middle fingers. “What's there that you don't understand, do you have a problem with simple English?” She snapped at him.
Andre ignored the rudeness in her tone and her harsh words and continued “You said I should forward my request to the admin department, were you serious about that reply?”
“Do I look like a joker to you? I meant every word of it. And if you've come to my office, based on that, then you'll have to leave and pass through the appropriate channel” Camella deadpanned.
“Like seriously? Are you even listening to yourself Cam…Miss Wood? I am not a regular employee, I'm a partner. It is strictly stated that I will deal with you directly and it has been so for a few months now.
Why did you suddenly want me to go through the appropriate channels? What channels are you talking about?” Andre demanded.
Camella flared up and hit her fist against the desk “I drafted that contract and I am still the one ordering you to go that way. If you want your request to be considered, then go through the admin department” she bellowed.
“You drafted the contract but it appears your head is sick now and you think a contract is something you can change at your whims right? I will not submit my request to the admin department and I will leave the company for a while and there's nothing you can do about it” he declared his tempers getting the hold of him.
“If you want this contract to remain valid, you would realise that you are speaking to the CEO of the Wood's Electroworld. And I hope you are ready to face the judicial consequences of bridging the contract?” She threatened.
“It was you who bridged the contract first and I followed suit. And don't try to rub your position on my face. You should know that I won't take it” Andre retorted.
“Don't underestimate the extent I can go to bring you down, Andre. Once I have done it and I can still do it irrespective of your so-called new identity. I took you from nothing and threw this opportunity on your face.
I practically handed over an arm of the company to you. But if you think you and I can stand side by side in a lawsuit, you are mistaken. I am still the same lioness you've always known as Camella Wood” Camella bellowed.
Andre sighed, closed his eyes briefly. This is what he was skeptical about. She helped him and reminded him that she took him from nothing and threw this opportunity on his face.
That's humanity for you. They help you and at the slightest provocation, smear their arrogance on your face, reminding you where they brought you from, the gutters to rob you in royal attire.
“Fine, thanks for the timely reminder. You took me from nothing and threw your generous offer to my face. It was a bait right,Camella? You schemed well to lure me back and get a chance to express your feelings for me.
I didn't expect that you are good at dribbling. You gave an arm of your company and at your convenience, you can change the guidelines on the contract? I must applaud you, you are a master in the game, a real businesswoman.

Camella felt like a part of her was torn away with Andre. She just wants to stay away from him and avoid him if possible. He had no idea how it hurts to be in a relationship with one sided love.
Andre is not in love with her. He was just managing her, trying to go along with her. He had no idea how much tears she she'd earlier that day, when he left her with a heartbreaking statement.
It is a high level of humiliation for a woman to be denied sex, leaving her to find a way to go about it. She'd read it from books and watched it in a movie about how women found it difficult to let go.
Why would she keep losing her self esteem by dating him? She has nothing else to hold onto. He didn't love her. She's not in his heart and that's why he wasn't interested in giving her his body.

Anyways, he was right about dealing with her directly. She logged into her email, approved his request and had his secretary forward it to him. She was just saying those words to hurt him, he was right on that.
Andre got back to his office. Her words hurt him but he was the one who provoked her. He denied her his body and she might misunderstand it to mean he has no feelings for her and was pushing her away.

It wasn't long he received another email, she'd approved his request and he sighed.
