Andre hurriedly went in search of the men, but he couldn't track them. He glanced around but he didn't see them again. He became extremely conscious. Who are these men and why are they after him?
Who are they working for? When he returned to Felix, he saw him looking so confused. He glanced at him and said “I'm sorry, I needed to catch a glimpse of something” he randomly said.
“And did you?” Felix asked, glaring at him with a poker face. He made him unnecessarily worried only to return to tell him he wanted to get a glimpse of something.
“I didn't” Andre replied and sighed softly “I'm sorry Felix. Let's get down to lunch at once” he said, dispelling the uneasiness in the atmosphere.
They were almost done when Andre pushed his dish away and cleaned his mouth. He was full. His mind had not really been calm, he wanted to find out things and maybe getting the surveillance camera would help.
“We wanted you to know first” Felix began and paused. Andre turned and glanced at him, forcing a smile. Every awkwardness needs to be concealed. He is never going to give the lovers reason to be uncomfortable.
“Know what?” Andre asked and glanced at Jane, she rolled her eyes, not willing to continue on the behalf of Felix. Andre chuckled and said “You guys are keeping me in suspense and I can't guess”
“I think you should guess instead,” Jane urged, resting her head on Felix's arms.
“Oh…fine…you are getting married, right?” Andre blurted and Felix gave him a thumb's up. He knows his friend is a smart dude. Why was he lingering in the first place?
“Yeah, by next month” Felix confirmed and Andre signalled to the bartender “Champaigh” he said and said “Congratulations guys. Was wondering what you both are waiting for?” he chimed.
There was a toast to the good news and Andre invited other people to toast along with them. His friends are getting married and he is happy for them.
“The groom's outfit that day is on me,” he promised. He was glad. Felix had been a great friend and his happiest day was coming up soon, he was so happy for him.
Jane's eyes welled up with tears. She sniffled, she couldn't hide her tears. He had planned his wedding with Jasmine. They were there when he told them that he would like to walk the aisle with her by February.
The mischievous woman happily agreed and they were happy. He remembered Andre circling his hand around her waist and kissing her so sweetly that night. But she failed him. A few weeks later, she got married with a three month pregnancy to someone else.
At the time, Andre was announcing his intention, she was already pregnant. She was getting fucked by another man and was being pretentious by his side. And seeing him now, she remembered that night.
“Thanks Andre” Jane appreciated, her voice choking. He is such a great guy, how can anyone think of breaking his heart, how can Jasmine think of hurting him so badly?
How could she be so inconsiderate and selfish?
Andre saw her eyes and hugged her “Why are you thinking about Jasmine? I thought of that night and now, I realised that she didn't really deserve it. Maybe she is not destined to be my soulmate” he calmly said.
“She's definitely not, but Camella is” Felix chipped in.

In Logan's family, Regina couldn't eat her lunch. Before her was Jasmine. She was sobbing and sweating profusely. Her parents were staring at her pitifully.
“Patrick did this to you? I thought you'd settled this whole no pregnancy saga” James Logan bellowed. How can a man treat his daughter this way? What had Jasmine done to deserve it?
“He's seeing someone else and I couldn't take it. It wasn't my fault that I hadn't been able to get pregnant after I had that miscarriage…” Jasmine sobbed.
He brought a woman home. It is not enough that he flirts with them but has gone shameless to bring them home. And it's all because she couldn't get pregnant within a few months after having a miscarriage.
She cannot even tell of the endless punching and beatings. How when he gets drunk, she becomes an object of punching. How on earth is she ever going to be pregnant? The doctor had advised them to be patient but he isn't ready to be.
“This is not as complex as Jasmine is making it appear. Patrick is depressed simply because he couldn't be a father at the time he'd envisioned. I really do not think too much of what happened.
Every couple goes through difficult times and misunderstanding but the women don't always run back to their parents home every now and then. I think Jasmine should rather focus on pleasing Patrick and nurturing her body into a fertile state to be able to raise a baby…” Regina was saying when James interrupted her.
“Do you hear yourself when you talk? You didn't see anything wrong that a man hits his wife like it's a norm and you want her to go back there? Are you really Jasmine's mother or you stole someone else's baby home from the crèche?
My daughter is not returning back to Patrick. She'll remain right here until Patrick comes back to his senses and apologizes to her. I have allowed you to do whatever you like in the past, now, I won't allow it, I can't watch and see my daughter's life completely ruined before me” he bellowed.
She'd pushed Jasmine into this miserable marriage and now, she wants her to remain there. Does she want her dead at Patrick's hands before learning her lessons?
“You of all people should know that if Jasmine doesn't give birth soon, how will we get our penthouse? I have boasted about it to friends and colleagues and in fact to enemies as well.
I cannot allow something as little as this to rob me of owning a penthouse. Nothing matters to me more than that, and in view of that, Jasmine will return to her matrimonial home and endure whatever she's going through.
She isn't going to die after all “ Regina Logan bellowed, turning her eyes away completely.
