It's been nearly a month since all of us set foot on Howling Island, and none of us have seen progress. Claudius never left the island. He was casting me out of the meeting with his small council. It was Adeline that he was with 24/7.
“You are his beta and best friend. He tells you everything that's going on in his head and he loathes me.”
“The Alpha does not loathe you,” Caspian cut me off. We were coming back from the daily training of our delta and warriors to keep them in shape.
“Well, he does. He informed me that himself.”
“And you believed that?”
“Why shouldn't I? In case you're not aware, Claudius had distanced himself from me after our firstborn died. He found his true mate here and has been fucking here since we got here.” I showed him my third finger.
“Claudius seizes the opportunity to hurt me whenever he was mad, and he raped me, multiple times.” I bit my lower chip after I said those.
“He did what to you, Luna?”
“It was a duty of mine that I must perform as his wife, but then I said no to him, and he still forced himself on me. In my eyes, he raped me… b-but if he'll sincerely ask an apology from me.” I chuckled.
“Did you know that I would forgive him within the blink of an eye and accept him with my arms wide open?”
Caspian was still looking at me as we walked to the dining, and the two of us were about to have our lunch.
My eyebrow shot up after I saw the serving omegas lined up outside the arch door.
“Why are all of you here and not working on your stations? Are you done with all the deltas' meals? They're fed?” I asked, checking my wristwatch.
“We're in the middle of cooking when Alpha Claudius asked us to step out.”
“Ahh hmm yeah, Alpha oh!”
Caspian bit his lower lip and looked away as he couldn't stand how noisy Adeline was as Claudius railed her in the kitchen.
“Fill me with your semen. Shot it inside of me. I want to bear a son for you—” That was my cue to storm inside the kitchen.
I cleared my throat, and Claudius withdrew himself from Adeline. I eyed the cum that he had spilled on the floor.
“We have hundreds of deltas and warriors starving, all because the serving omegas cannot use this part of the manor because of the two of you,” I said, hiding the pain.
This wasn't the first time that I caught them having sex, and even when it hurt me, I wouldn't give Claudius that satisfaction.
“I am not stopping you from fucking this bitch of yours, but please do it in your room so that you two won't be a pain in the ass for everyone who has things that they need to do,” I said.
Claudius went straight to me after he had zipped his pants. I wiped my lips with the back of my palm after he smooched his mouth that he used to ravish his whore.
“The manor is mine. I can fuck her in the great hall and ask all of you to come watch us and none of you won't be able to do anything about it but watch me because I am your Alpha,” he whispered in my ears.
His eyes then shot towards Caspian.
“Did you hear anything about the spy that we sent to the realm? I need reports,” he demanded before he had left me alone with his whore.
In the corner of my eyes, I caught her fixing her dress.
“Did you just call me a whore?” I sighed and faced her.
“I did, and so?”
“I am Claudius' true mate! If someone's his whore, that's you. You were just his breeder, and you tricked him into making you his Luna and wife.”
Every serving omega in this manor didn't know that I used to be a breeder, and now that they do. I was sure that they would lose their respect for me.
I was about to slap her, but then Adeline caught my hand, and then she threw it back at me before she slapped my cheeks.
“That is for you calling me a whore and this is for stealing my mate!” She hissed before she slapped my other cheeks.
I fisted my hand. “I'll let you hurt me this one time, but the next time you raise a hand to me, I'll break that hands of yours and feed it to the dire wolves in the forest.”
“Are you really sure that you'd do such a thing to the she-wolf that's about to be the Luna of the Blood Moon Pack?”
Adeline smirked after she saw how horrified I was with what she had told me.
“No. Claudius wouldn't do that. He promised that I'll remain his wife and Luna—”
“Just like how he promised that he'll reject his true mate once he found her, and yet, he hasn't done it yet?”
“Every title that you own was mine in the first place. You're a fucking mistress, and in the eyes of the many, you're the third party, not me. How can I be when I am the true mate?”
After a long time, shifters started looking at me the same way the shifters do in the Blue River Pack. Their eyes were full of hatred.
“Now that the secret was out. You'd live a miserable life here.”
I walked out of the study and never looked back.
“We are leaving this place. I am leaving Claudius. I'd had enough of him. He no longer loves me, and he has lost his respect for me too,” I said to my wolf.
“He won't tell Adeline that I used to be a breeder and let her mock me if Claudius still has respect for me.” I have shaken my head.
“If he does not want to be with me anymore, then fine! The two of them can go ahead and fucking enjoy each other until they die…" The surge of anger in my chest was slowly replaced by fear and I took a step back after I noticed that there were groups of shifters wearing red cloaks that had encircled me.
“Seize her. She has a powerful wolf and once it takes over her body, we'll have a hard time dealing with her,” said by a feminine voice.
I felt a sharp pain around my neck, as I was shot in my neck and the world started spinning so fast before it went dark.
