The Ruthless Alpha's Innocent Breeder

Chapter 73

Ch. 73 / 140 Jan 12, 2026

Eero's perspective

As my consciousness sipped right back to me, my hand held the spot on my neck where I was shot with a needle that made me faint.

Remembering that it's the last thing that happened to me, I got up feeling scared that I was being held captive.

“What the hell is going on? Where am I?” I muttered to myself. I looked around and all that I could see around me was luxury.

The powder blue silk material of the ankle length dress that I was wearing felt right around my body.

“Hello? Anyone out there?” I said in a loud voice as I anxiously step towards the door. I heard nothing in return. My restless eyes then found a familiar symbol placed in the middle of the stained-glass window, and my feet brought me to it.

“This is the heraldry of Regulus pack…"

The door busted opened and a lady with a ginger colored hair smiled at me.

“You're awake.” I stepped back from her, and that earned a chuckle.

“I am no threat to you. No one in this place is a threat to you.”

“How am I supposed to believe that when I was shot with something and was abducted—”

“Well… there is no other way for us to bring you to the realm than to resort to a little violence, but they didn't entirely hurt you. They only used the laven's pin for you and your wolf to fall asleep.” The woman slightly opened her arm.

“And you wake up to this. If in any way we wish to harm you, we won't put you in the royal room, make you wear that dress. You'd be in a dungeon and chained instead,” she explained.

“Touché.”

“I am Lady Aelice, daughter of Regulus' Beta, Octavio Howard.”

Aelice approached me, and then she suddenly started raking my hair.

“You look just like them.”

“Who?” I asked, but she shook her head at me.

“Do you want to go out with me? I will tour you around the realm.”

“I am allowed to go out of this room and walk around the realm?” It felt weird, that I was in the realm, touring in all the corners of it.

Aelice chuckled, “Yes. Why do you sound so surprised? Like I told you, you're no hostage here, and you are under the Alpha King's protection.”

“The Alpha King?”

She nodded her head. Aelice guided me to hold her arm as we went out of the room.

“It was the Alpha King who brought you here, but he is on an important meeting with his small council. Soon, he'll be informed that you're awake, and he'd call you to the Harren Hall.”

“What's that?”

Aelice laughed again with me, while I felt stupid. The good thing was that she was filled with patience.

“Most commonly known as the throne room? We call it Harren Hall here.”

Aelice pulled away from me, and then she proudly presented a tree that looked a century old.

“This is my favorite place in the whole realm. The realm will be overwhelming for you and just like me, you need a spot where you can breathe for a while.”

“And this is it?” I asked.

“Yes!”

“How old are you, Eero?”

“19, b-but how did you know my name?”

“I learned it from my father, and we are just the same age. I am 19 too.” Aelice offered me her hand.

“You will need a best friend in this place, and I am offering myself as one,” what she said made me laugh, but I gladly accepted her offer.

“Now, that we are friends. Have you found your mate yet?” She asked me, and the smile on my lips vanished.

“I did… I-I ran away from him.”

“Huh? Why would you do such a thing?”

“Aelice?” A baritone voice called her and within a snap, Aelice became anxious and conscious of herself.

“Father,” she murmured while she fidgeted.

“I see that you have already taken the pleasure of touring her around.”

“We are not yet done, though. This is the first place that she had seen.” Aelice held my hand.

“If you'll allow it, I'll continue showing the realm to her.”

“You can do that some other time, my sweetling. The Alpha King awaits her in the Harren Hall.” He turned his back on us and expected me to follow him right away, so when I didn't, he frowned.

“You heard me, young woman, so what are you still waiting for?”

“You're the Alpha King's beta. I want to know why he wanted me here.”

“He didn't tell me beforehand. I guess we will all find out about it after he tells you.”

I found myself anxiously holding Aelice hands as we followed her father, only to let go of it after I saw a golden double door.

“This is the door to the throne room in my dreams!” I exclaimed. I even cut through Beta Octavio just so I could check the head of the dire wolf in the handle and it was there.

Aelice pulled me away from it after her father cleared his throat.

“You stand in the presence of Codrus Vilerion, Alpha of the Regulus Pack and King of the realm.” Octavio said, but my eyes were darted somewhere.

“How did it happen? I've been seeing this throne room in my dreams and now I am really here,” I mused, but then Octavio cleared his throat again.

Although later, I followed Aelice as she politely bowed her head to the man sitting on the throne.

“You must curtsy to the Alpha all the time, or we'll take that as you disrespecting him—”

“Octavio, cut the child some slacks. She just got here. Soon, she will learn our way here.” Alpha King Codrus then called me to come forward.

“I thought that this man was like the Lucifer himself? But, he is acting nice and warm to me.”

Slowly charging forward, my wolf was in a high-level alert, ready to protect me just in case something happened.

“You look exactly like how you were in my priestess' dreams.”

“Pardon?”

“I am sorry for the way that we had resorted to in order to bring you here.”

“Will you just go straight to the point and tell me why did you bring me here?"

“You're one presumptuous woman. How dare you talk to the Alpha King like that?” Codrus glanced at Octavio, making him shut, and then his eyes had found mine.

“You're an orphan now, aren't you?”

I moved my head to answer.

“I wish to adopt you and make you the princess of the realm and the Regulus pack,” he said, shocking everyone in the room.
