Louisa Unchained

Chapter 187

Ch. 187 / 262 Apr 29, 2026

  Louisa's POV

"Where's their camp?" Lucian frowned. "Take us to their camp."

  The rogues looked reluctant.

"Sir... Are you sure you want to go there? It's very bad luck to see dead druids..."

"Take us to the camp, or I'll rip off your arms and feed them to my friends here," Lucian said and pointed at Mata.

Mata looked very confused and looked at me for help.

"We're vegetarians, for your information. We get lactose intolerant when we eat meat products..." he said.

"Show them your badass look now, Dickhead!" Mana shouted at him.

  "Do I really have to...?"

  "Do it now! Dickhead!"

Mata sighed. Then, he opened his giant mouth and snarled. He had got a tentacle-like tongue and the inside of his mouth was covered by hundreds of spike-like teeth.

"Ahhhhh!" Some of the rogues passed out whereas others literally pissed themselves.

Mata closed his mouth and looked up at Lucian, who frowned at him.

He covered his head with the towel and looked very embarrassed.

Lucian patted his head gently and said, "Thank you, old pal."

One of the rogues shouted in despair, "OK! We'll do everything you say! Please don't let us get anywhere near those nasty creatures! But please, have some mercy on us, Sir! Please let us go after we take you there..."

"Don't call my friend nasty again!" I shouted.

"OK! Sorry! They're your friends! We're nasty!" They raised their hands above their heads.

"Lead us to the camp and then I'll decide if I'll let you go or not," Lucian said.

The soldiers came forward and tied up rogues in a row. They walked one after another in a line and led us to a clearing at the top of Backsaw Mountain.

"The camp is just over there, Sir."

"We can't go any further, because we're afraid of ghosts."

"And we don't want to see dead druids again! That's very very bad luck!"

The soldiers ignored their pleading and pushed them forward.

"Move! Don't stop!" they shouted. "If there were ghosts, you would be the first ones to be fed to them!"

The rogues had no other way but to move forward.

"Great. Now we'll be the midnight snack of ghosts!"

"There aren't any ghosts in this world. Keep moving!" The soldiers got impatient and pushed them again.

"No! There are ghosts! They're right there! Can't you see them?!" One of the rogues howled while pointing at the front.

I followed his finger and saw the dim light coming from the campfire.

Against the fire, I saw two figures, a big and a small, slowly emerging from the darkness.

"Don't come any closer!" I heard a familiar voice. "I will disembowel you all, just like the way I disemboweled those druids!"

  "... Leo?!" I was shocked.

Before I knew it, Lucian had already jumped off his horse and ran towards the two figures.

His long blonde hair and long white cape waved under the silver moonlight, dragging behind him like a dash of white light.

Mana jumped off the horse, stretched out his arms at me, and helped me to get down as well.

As I ran forward, I saw Lucian holding a woman, who was covered in blood, in his arms.

"Sorry. Sorry. It's all my fault. I'm so sorry." He kept whispering and kissing the woman's hair and face.

I had never seen him so emotional before. He looked almost terrified.

The woman looked very upset, trying to push Lucian away.

"Don't touch me! I'm still angry at you. You left me and the baby at Festung Camp all these days and you didn't even come to see us! Those druids took me and Leo away just like that and now you show up?! I will never ever forgive you for treating me like this and you'd better figure out how to make up for it now, Lucian Theobald Kingfisher!"

Mana whispered to Mata, "Wow, she's using the middle name now. This lady must be really angry."

Mata bashed his brother's head and said, "What do you know about middle names?"

"Ouch! It's really painful!" Mana covered his head and hid behind me, using me as a human shield to block his brother's attack.

Mata said, "Shut up right now and I want to hear what this gorgeous good-looking man will do to make up for her!"

Mana nodded, leaned forwards, and strained his ears as well.

Lucian whispered with tears in his eyes and said, "I'm sorry, Anna. It's all my fault. I'll do whatever you want me to do. Please tell me..."

The woman was still trying to push Lucian away, but it was in vain.

I could tell there was no way for Lucian to leave her alone ever again in his life.

The soldiers came closer with torches. It seemed that they were looking for survival druids on the campsite.

In the dim light, I saw the stunningly beautiful face of the pregnant lady in Lucian's arms.

Despite being covered in blood, she still looked strikingly beautiful and elegant. She had got dark brown hair and a pair of hazelnut-colored eyes. Her flawless round face was literally glowing with a dazzling aura against the flame of the fire.

I had pictured Gianna as a delicate pale lady in my mind, because Lucas mentioned once that I reminded him of Gianna. But to my surprise, she was nothing like me. She was tall, strong and tanned, like a female warrior. Her long, firm thighs and plump breasts were like a masterpiece of a fine art sculpture. She immediately reminded me of Uma, but she looked more confident, even a little bit domineering.

She was the perfect combination of elegance and strength.

After a few more failed attempts to break away from Lucian, Gianna crossed her arms and said, "I don't want to tell you anything! You have to figure it out by yourself! You're always been away ever since we got married. If you don't love me anymore, just let me know! I'll go back to my parents in Reinhard City and I'll take the baby with me! You'll never ever see us again because my parents will set fire to the moats when you try to get closer to us..."

Her voice started to get lower because Lucian was staring at her.
