Chapter 10

Ch. 10 / 97 Oct 17, 2025

I groaned loudly when my alarm went off and I pressed snooze, rolling over to find Beth's face extremely close to mine.

"Get up," I grumbled and nudged her arm.

"Two more minutes," she whined and I tapped her again.

"Get up."

"Piss off," she growled and I roughly shoved her onto the floor. "You bitch!" She gasped and I got out of bed and smirked.

"I told you to get up."

"Remind me why I'm friends with you," she groaned and pulled herself off the floor.

"I'm amazing," I said smugly and walked over to my wardrobe. I grabbed some clothes and chucked a towel at Beth. "You can shower here and borrow some of my clothes."

"I guess you're okay," Beth smirked.

Half an hour later I was dressed in ripped denim shorts and a long sleeved, shoulderless grey top. It was sunny outside so I pushed the sleeves up to my elbows and tied my hair up.

"They fit okay?" I said, looking at Beth in the mirror.

"The ass is baggy and my tits are way smaller than yours," Beth said as she zipped the jeans up and adjusted the vest top. "But it'll do."

"You calling me fat?" I teased and Beth laughed.

"Babe, I'd kill for your ass and curves," Beth said.

"You have a fine booty," I grinned. "Your lovely friend Tom told me himself."

"Prick," Beth muttered and shook her head. "I've got small tits and a bit of an ass, you however have it all."

"Oh shut up," I laughed and looked at myself in the mirror. I was slim, but definitely had curves. My bottom wasn't exactly small and I had always despised my thighs, but Beth never shut up about how she would die for my figure. It made me want to suffocate her sometimes.

I slipped a pair of black Havaiana's on and picked my bag up off the floor. "Ready?" I called and Beth nodded. The two of us made our way downstairs and found it a lot emptier this morning.

I grabbed a breakfast bar from the kitchen and Beth took an apple. After taking a bottle of water from the fridge Beth and I made our way to the front door. Eli was in the living room on his phone and he frowned when I walked past. "Where are you going?"

"School," I shrugged. "You should too if you don't want to be late. Not that I give a shit if you're late or not."

"Thanks for the ride," I said as Beth pulled up outside the school.

"Not a problem, babe," she smiled and I climbed out of the car, waving as Beth drove off.

Joey caught up to me as I walked through the school gates and I smiled at him. "Hey."

"Hey," he said. "You alright?"

"I'm wonderful," I said sarcastically. "Can't wait till I see Emma."

"What happened yesterday?" Joey wondered and I followed him down the school corridors to his locker.

"Emma started acting like a psycho," I said. "She tried to slap me."

"That was sick with the whole arm grab twisty thing!" Joey grinned as he swung his locker opened and grabbed a bunch of books.

"Arm grab twisty thing?" I repeated and laughed. "I told you I could handle myself."

"Looked like Eli could handle you," Joey noted and I stiffened.

"I let him pull me away," I shrugged.

Joey raised his eyebrows, but nodded. "Uh huh, just like you 'fell over.'" Joey made quotation marks with his hands and I lightly punched him.

"Oh shut up, I did fall over," I lied.

"And landed on your face?" Joey scoffed and we started to make our way to our first lesson. I shared a lot of classes with Joey, but sadly also Eli.

"Do you really want to know how I got the bruises and cut?" I asked.

"I am slightly curious," Joey smiled.

"My brother punched me and so did Eli," I said casually, remembering my cover and calling Blake my brother.

Joey started at me in shock as we walked into our classroom. We sat down near the back and I laughed at his expression.

"You're serious!" He gasped and I nodded.

"Yep. My brother also slammed me into a van door and poured vodka over an open wound."

"Fuck, I don't want to meet your brother!" Joey said. "Why the fuck did he do that?"

"Long fucking story," I chuckled. "You don't want to know."

"And why did Eli punch you?"

"Now that I can answer," I nodded. "He stole my sandwich."

"So he stole your sandwich and then punched you?" Joey said and I laughed.

"No, he stole my sandwich and I attacked him with a knife," I explained. "Then he punched me."

"I don't know whether to be scared or impressed."

I smiled. "I'm lovely really."

"Who have I made friends with?" Joey teased.

I exited the changing rooms fully clothed while other girls left in their PE kit. Before I could reach the gym where the rest of my class had gone a PE teacher stopped me.

"Why aren't you changed?" He demanded.

"I have an injury," I said. "Can't do any PE."

"And where's your note?" The teacher wondered, crossing his arms over his chest and staring down at me. His greying hair had been slicked back and his moustache looked like it could give a broom a run for its money.

"Non-existent," I shrugged.

"You seem perfectly fine to me," the teacher said, spitting a little bit as he spoke. "Go and change or I'll have you running laps for detention."

"No," I said and wiped my cheek, trying to hold back sick. "I have an injury."

"Oh really?" The teacher scoffed. "Where is it then?"

I pointed to my thigh where my bandage could be seen through the rips in my shorts. A small amount of blood had seeped through and the teacher frowned.

"What happened?"

I smiled. "My brother stabbed me."

The teachers mouth dropped.

"He claims it was an accident, but it's rather hard to accidentally send a knife into someone's leg," I said. "So, like I said before, I have an injury and can't do PE."

The teacher didn't know what to say. He eventually nodded and told me to take a seat in the gym and just observe.

I smirked and limped towards the gym.

The gym was loud and busy when I entered. The boys and girls were mixed together. I spotted Joey talking to a group of guys and smiled. I glared at Eli who seemed to be getting along well with a bunch of "jocks" and "bad boys". I also glared at Adam who was at the front of the gym. He gave me a stern look and then ignored me.

"Everyone quiet!" Adam yelled, silencing the whole gym. I sat on a bench and looked at the clock on the wall, wanting the day to be over with already. "I'm Mr Johnson!" Adam said. "I'll be your new PE teacher."

A few of the girls smirked when he said this.

"We'll start it off easy," Adam said. "I want everyone running laps round the gym. If you moan you can run for longer! Doesn't that sound fun?"

There were groans from the girls, but eventually everyone started running round the gym, stopping occasionally when Adam yelled for them to do push ups or squats.

Adam casually made his way over to me. If you didn't know better it looked like a teacher asking a student why they weren't participating. "Daisy," he said and leaned against the wall next to the bench I was seated on.

"Adam," I said tersely.

"Spotted anyone yet?"

My eyes landed on Joey who, to my surprise, was leading the run with a bunch of jocks. "Nope."

"You sure about that?" Adam questioned and I glanced up at him with a sweet smile.

"And why would I lie to my SO?" I wondered.

"Eli gave me a few names to look out for." Adam's eyes scanned the class. "Keep an eye out."

"Always," I said and then Adam walked off to the class, yelling at them to split into teams.

I sighed and leaned back against the wall. The last thing I would be doing during this mission was helping the Agency.
