CEO's Genius Triplets

No Appetite

Ch. 53 / 178 Feb 27, 2026

Samantha angrily drove away from Chelsea Creek.

Her hands gripping the steering wheel trembled with anger.

She had never been so furious in her entire life.

She parked the car by the roadside, went to the pharmacy to buy a contraceptive pill, and returned home to wash herself from head to toe, inside and out.

To dispel the frustration in her heart, she immersed herself in work, and within a day, she completed the design drafts for Ellena.

Looking at the drafts, she smiled satisfied, and called Ellena.

"Miss Ellena, the initial drafts are ready. When do you have time? I can bring them over for you to review."

Excitement resonated in Ellena's voice on the other end.

"Already finished? How about we meet at Chelsea Creek? Tomorrow morning at nine o'clock?"

"..." Samantha's face stiffened for a moment, she forced a smile and said, "How about we pick another place? What about the Café across from our company? If that's not convenient, I can come to your office."

Ellena readily agreed, "Sure! Tomorrow morning at nine, don't be late."

"Okay."

After confirming the meeting with Ellena, Samantha hung up the phone.

Busy all day, tired and thirsty, she left the study to prepare some instant noodles.

As she opened the study door, she unexpectedly saw Karen standing outside.

She raised an eyebrow, puzzled, "Karen, when did you come back? Didn't you work today?"

There was a hint of guilt in Karen's eyes, and she blinked a couple of times before explaining, "I wasn't feeling well, so I took leave and came back early!"

Samantha didn't suspect anything and headed towards the dining room, saying, "I'm going to make some instant noodles. Are you hungry? Do you want me to make a bowl for you?"

Karen glanced deeply at the drafts on the desk in the study, absentmindedly nodded and said, "Um."

After finishing the noodles, Samantha placed the drafts in a drawer and then went out to pick up her child from school.

Once she made sure Samantha had left, Karen entered the study and quietly opened the drawer.

A completed initial draft lay before her eyes.

...

Chelsea Creek.

Ethan stared at the delicious dishes on the table, but he had no appetite.

"What is this? It tastes awful... Bring another batch..."

The butler was sweating, cautiously explaining, "Sir, this is already the fifth batch. We only have five chefs at home, and they've all prepared it for you."

Even though the previous tastes the master liked were also quite picky, however, it wasn't as difficult to cater to him as it is now.

He used to eat a bit more when he liked something, and a bit less when he didn't, without expressing it so strongly.

Since Miss Samantha came, his taste has become more and more demanding.

Ethan's eagle-like eyes were filled with frosty gloom. "Then change the chef until I'm satisfied."

The butler nodded and turned around to make two calls.

The first one was to Jade, asking him to find a new chef.

The other call was to Samantha.

"Miss Samantha, where are you now? Can you come over quickly? None of the five chefs at home have satisfied the master. He now only likes the dishes you make."

Samantha laughed when she heard it.

"Oh really? Should I feel honored?"

The butler sensed the sarcasm in her words, his face full of bitterness. He pleaded, "No matter what the master did to make you angry, on his behalf, I apologize to you. Please, forgive him this time. If you don't come today, the whole Chelsea Creek won't be peaceful."

Thinking about the incident earlier that day, the anger inside Samantha reignited.

"I'm sorry, but it's not that I don't want to help you. I just don't think I have the ability to save the entire Chelsea Creek. I have something to do, so I'll hang up!"

Without waiting for the butler to respond, she decisively ended the call.

As the phone on the other end beeped, the butler sighed in resignation.

Suddenly, a shadow cast over him from behind.

He jumped in surprise and quickly turned around, only to see a face more terrifying than the God of Death, instantly making him lose his composure.

"M-Mr. Steele..."

Ethan, his dark eyes carrying a storm, asked coldly, "Who allowed you to call her?"

The butler couldn't defend himself, and he lowered his head to apologize, "I'm sorry..."

Ethan stared at him expressionlessly, his eyes sending a chilling shiver.

After a moment, he suddenly asked, "What did she say?"

The butler was momentarily puzzled, not understanding his intention at first. But seeing his increasingly cold expression, he instantly realized and hurriedly explained, "Miss Samantha said she's a bit busy and doesn't have time to come... uh... over."

When he uttered the last word, his tongue twisted.

However, the expression on the master's face was too terrifying, as if he were about to kill someone.

"Don't come here anymore!"

Coldly leaving these words, Ethan turned and went inside. A chill seemed to envelop him, even the air turned cold.

The butler was in a dilemma but had to follow him inside.

...

Alexander returned home and immediately sensed that something was wrong with the atmosphere.

Everyone seemed tense, as if their nerves were about to snap.

Despite not turning on the air conditioning, it felt as cold as the Antarctic.

He immediately curiously asked the butler, "Grandpa butler, what happened today? Why didn't Dad pick me up from school?"

Seeing him, the butler felt relieved and said, "Young Master, you've finally come back! Your father hasn't eaten anything all day. He fired all five chefs in the house. Now he's locked himself in the study, refusing to eat or drink. If this continues, it won't be good for his health."

Alexander asked curiously, "What happened today?"

The butler answered truthfully, "This morning, Madam came, and after that, your father came back and took Miss Samantha into the room. After Miss Samantha came out, she left angrily."

As someone with experience, even without witnessing what happened in the room, he could roughly guess what occurred, especially considering the clear marks on Miss Samantha.

Honestly, he couldn't believe that their master would resort to force against a woman.

It was simply inconceivable.

After hearing the butler's words, Alexander furrowed his small brow, "Dad probably had an argument with Miss Samantha. I'll personally make a bowl of noodles for Dad in the kitchen."

The butler stared at him in amazement, "You'll make noodles yourself?"

Alexander arrogantly raised his chin, "What? Don't believe I can?"

He might not be good at many things, but he excelled at making noodles. When Mommy was too busy to cook, he made noodles for both of them.

Both Charlotte and Mommy praised his skills.

The butler truthfully shook his head.

He really didn't believe it.

The young master of the Steele family had been pampered and sheltered, treated like he might melt in the mouth or break in the hands.

Such a person cooking?

To avoid being looked down upon, Alexander rolled up his sleeves and entered the kitchen.

Because of his short stature, he couldn't reach the utensils, so he brought in a chair.

He skillfully operated.

Boiled water, cooked noodles, added seasoning to the bowl, poured in the noodle broth, took the noodles out, blanched some vegetables for decoration.

After everything was done, he fried an egg and placed it on top of the noodles, sprinkled some green onions.

A bowl of fragrant plain noodles was ready.

The butler couldn't believe what he was seeing.

The young master, who had never set foot in the kitchen, was actually making noodles, and they looked good.

Alexander gave the butler a triumphant look, placed the noodles on a tray, and carried them upstairs.

As he ascended the stairs, he felt a cold air growing stronger.

The higher he went, the more intense the chill became.
